Matt’s POV
My night had been short, I couldn’t really find sleep and then woke up way too early. Last night had been uncomfortable. Joe didn’t want to come to the mansion, but Olivia made her come with me. She was worried about her friend and she was right, I still didn’t get why Joe just wouldn’t admit to the fact that she was in danger.

The moment we had entered the mansion Joe had shot one look into the kitchen, had turned around and demanded to be shown to her room. She said she wasn’t hungry and just wanted to go to bed.
One look at Arin had made him jump up and show Joe around. He told me she was criticizing everything he said, but to be honest, seeing how she had been after we got off the plane, that didn’t even surprise me one bit. How could she be these two complete different women?

I looked at my laptop, I had been doing my emails since 7 this morning and I still wasn’t finished, but it wouldn’t be long before the guys would be here, it was 9.45 and I had planned a meeting at 10. I knew they wouldn’t be too happy, but I needed to bring them up to date. I let my mind wander to Hawaii and everything that had happened there, the break in, the almost abduction. Even after everything, my mind was still full of her, not all the security things, but the moments between us I couldn’t explain, that sweet and funny woman I met during our one-on-one dinner, but that came out so rarely. I guess she wouldn’t be coming out anytime soon after I forced her to come here with me yesterday.

I was roughly interrupted from my thoughts when my door flew open and Joe came storming in. She was dressed in her summer clothes, a long skirt and a tight top that let her shoulders free, her hair waving as she took large steps to my desk.
“Well, goodmorning Joe, sleep well?”
She shot me an angry glare and put both her hands on my desk and leaned on it.
“Do I look as if I slept well?”
I opened my mouth to tell her she looked beautiful, which was the truth, but she held up her hand
“No, I don’t need an answer to that. Look at me..” she motioned down her body, as if I hadn’t looked her up and down several times already since she entered my office “I hate sleeping in another bed, I don’t have all my own stuff here, I don’t even have any other clothes with me, besides the ones I packed for my holiday”
“It’s the beginning of summer, nothing wrong with the clothes you are wearing” I replied as soon as she stopped to take a breath.

“You think this is funny?! You dragged me to this house, like the first caveman, you didn’t even wanted to go to my own house to pack some things. I guess you will take me over to my apartment today before you are taking me to my office? I can’t appear there like this”
I sighed, I could have known she still wouldn’t give in to this
“I am not bringing you to your office today, Joe”
“Lend me a car, I will go by myself”
“You will not go by yourself, you won’t be going at all” She looked at me confused and then I saw she was finally getting it
“But I have to work!” she raised her voice at me and put her arms across her chest.
“You can work here” I replied calmly “You have your laptop with you and I gave you the biggest guest room, you can work in there”
She looked at me as if I just asked her to kill a 100 puppies and make a coat with their furs.
“Now get out, I have a meeting” I saw Zack coming in from the corner of my eye.

“’Morning” He growled when walked in, not even noticing Joe “Why the hell do you want us to do a meeting at 10 in the morning?”
Then he looked up and I saw his eyes grew wide
“Goodmorning Josephine, sleep well?”
“Why does everyone keeps asking me that!” She groaned, more to herself than to us. She stomped out of my office, almost bumping into Brian, who just came walking in with two cups of coffee
“Goodmorning to you too” he snapped at Joe, he handed to cup to Zack and we all watched her angry back as she was walking away.

“What did you do to her, Matt? She looks different, mad but not as stiff anymore? Are you breaking the rules?” Zack chuckled turning around, sitting down in his chair. I felt my cheeks heat up and quickly hid behind my laptop.
Brian sat down next to Zack, as usual “I get it now Z” he said with a big smile on his face
“Didn’t I tell you!? Not so funny anymore, now, huh?!” Zack replied, nodding at Brian, high fiving him. Zack talked to Brian about his annoyance with Joe huh? Why does it even surprise me?
Johnny came strolling in calmly, Arin hot on his heels.
“Sorry, sorry, sorry I’m late, had to call for the latest updates in the field” Arin rushed out as he sat down next to Johnny. The kid was still apologizing for everything, even though nobody asked him to.

“We have a lot to discuss, so let’s get to it. I want to talk to you all about the ongoing cases, but first I need to talk to you about the women invading our house” I opened the meeting while I grabbed my laptop and walked over to the table where the other four were already sitting, taking my place at the head of the table.
“Okay, I like to start with a questions since when are we taking clients into our house, I mean... not that I don’t like women in our house, but since they are clients they are off limits which make them, not really women, right? But coming back to the question at hand... why into our home?” Johnny asked and I frowned at him.
Normally he would be right, we didn’t take clients into our mansion, but this situation was serious and personal now and I ignored the rest of the question on one hand not wanting the reminder about the forbidden women but also not able to tell him he was right, even though he was actually right but everybody knew that.

“Yes, you are right, but in this case we have to make an exception. It’s a personal matter, you know I took this case because it concerned a family member and you already know what happened with Jacky, someone tried to break into her home. And now we got another serious case, not only was somebody in Josephine’s hotel room in Hawaii, leaving a note for us to find but they also stole something personal from her. They want to play with us, show us that we make mistakes. We need to be careful, even more careful then normally.” I said and breathed deeply in and out now was also the moment I had to tell them that they nearly grabbed Joe on my watch.
“Yeah, but you didn’t mention that both girl will be... so...” Zacky searched for the right words
“...hard to handle?” Brian suggested and I saw Arin holding his hand up and I had to suppress the grin at Arin’s behavior.
“Arin?” I motioned to him.
“They are not... I spent some time with Jacky already, I think we can come along good.” Arin looked at Zacky and Brian with an angry glare and I tried to suppress a chuckle, I think I missed some action here in the house.
“Whatever, kid.” Brian shrugged and brought me back to the topic.
“Alright, getting back to the main topic, I need to give you even more Information. At the airplane happened something I am not very proud of.” I stopped and saw Brian squirming in his seat, what did he know or assume?
“I nearly lost Josephine, she didn’t run or slip away, but someone grabbed her when she came from the rest rooms. They tried to get away with her. I could grab her and get her back in the last second, and I mean it... these guys are not playing around, they want our girls at all costs as it seems.”
“Fuck, I didn’t know it was that serious.” Johnny breathed out a sigh and I nodded.
“It is that serious. That’s why we need a security plan, we need to think of ways to make sure they are protected 24/7 around the clock, you got me?”I asked and looked at my four best friends and they all had a serious expression on their faces and nodded at me.
“Alright, so what’s your plan?” Brian asked and looked also determined, I think after the break in he had leaved through with Jacky, he was especially concerned for her and I could understand that, was feeling the same after holding Joe on the plane.

“First the bodyguards stay responsible like it is planned. Brian you are still the main contact person for Jacky you are responsible for her first and for all. I will do the same with Joe, I don’t think we should start changing the known routine’s now. But I want Arin, Zack and you Johnny to also keep an eye on them, whenever Brian or I are not around or are not able to look out for them, it’s your priority number one. Is everybody okay with that?” I asked into the group and they nodded at me.
“Good, that’s settled, then I think we all agree on the next points as well, they are not going anywhere alone. The better is that they are staying indoors most of the time. I know we can’t cage them in…” Which brought my mind lightly off topic picturing Joe, chained to my king size bed…
“Matt?” Zacky asked and I realized I stared at the wall opposite of me for quite a while.
“What? What did I say…?”
“You wanna cage them in- that’s at least what it sounded like…” Arin frowned and I tried to look annoyed and hide another blush.
“Now, I mean… Jacky might have realized that already, but I know that Joe will still fight me about it. But there is no chance either of these girls leave our house without one of us, clear?” I asked and another round of nods but with smirking faces, knowing I had something else on my mind, but let these stupid fuckers smirk.

“I don’t think Jacky got that, she will also try to fight that… only because she seems to not to be too worked up about staying here, she still wants to get her way, but I will make sure she stays under our roof or I am with her.” Brian said and I nodded, glad for getting back on the main topic.
They really are sister, if they come along with each other or not, stubborn all the same.
“Okay, so... now I think after we talked about the necessary security plans, we should make some ground house rules.” I said and my friend groaned.
“Come on guys, we need some rules, we haven’t lived with women here before... at least not longer then a night, so we have to make some... adaption’s.” I said and saw Johnny rolling his eyes.
“Rule no. 1 – No and yes I mean you Johnny, running around the house butt ass naked.” I looked pointedly at him, which would be a rule we should have permanently and not only just for the girls, when I came to think about it.
“Good rule.” Zacky agreed with a laugh.
“No inviting girls over, if you guys are wanna have some fun... do it somewhere else.” I said and another round of groans from Johnny and Zacky.
“Which is also clear, no parties in our house, no stranger, nothing. We can’t risk some of these guys to get into our house and get near the girls.” I said and they had no other chance then to agree with me anyway.
“Then I heard that Jacky cooked yesterday and I do not have to remind you guys, that everyone of us has to cook and will clean after themselves, the girls are not here to do that for us, not that I think these girl would do that on their free will anyway, but I want you to be aware. We have to arrange either us cooking together, maybe in some groups or we can make a freaking plan, whatever... and we have to involve them into the shopping... maybe we can take one of them at a time together with two of us shopping, so they get to choose what they want..”
“I am not buying tampons.” Brian said first and I had to laugh.
“Me neither... so I think we really have to find a solution there.” We all chuckled at that a little, when suddenly my office door slammed open and we all turned around seeing an enraged looking Joe standing in the doorway.
I looked at her with a lifted eyebrow. “Joe, I told you I have a meeting, I don’t think anything can be so important that you have to interrupt us.” I saw the fire in her eyes and felt my dick twitch in my pants, god she was making me hot... and annoyed.
“It Is that important!” She said and made a step forward, head held high and I got up from my chair also making a step forward towering over her.
“I can’t work in that room. It’s not possible... I need to go to my office. I need an office, damn it. This is not working out.” She looked at me angry and I rolled my eyes, I couldn’t suppress it.
“Arin.”
“I will think about something.” Arin said and looked around “The meeting is done, right?” I nodded and he rushed out while the others waited and stared at me and Joe.
“We will find a solution, until then you will have to work with what we got.” I said again and saw her not giving in an inch.
Brian, Zack and Johnny slowly moved out the room but were still looking at us and I saw Jacky leaning on the doorframe smiling wildly “Maybe I was wrong and this will be fun.”
