Jacky’s POV
I knew the second I saw Arin that he was a funny guy, he was only a year younger than myself and we came along great.
He showed me to all the rooms downstairs, which meant the gym, the trainings room and the huge inside swimming pool.
I was really impressed to say the least, these guys were living in a freaking dream mansion.
“I totally gotta check out that swimming pool, Arin.” I looked through the glass front, giving me a complete view over the whole area.
“Yes, we can try that tomorrow, if you want. It’s getting a little too late for that tonight, we are not done with the whole sightseeing tour.” Arin grinned. “And you can even choose if the weather is good, we have another one outside”
I smiled widely, I loved swimming, it was actually one of the few things my sister and I had in common. I couldn’t wait to take a dive, I might even pick up on my daily swimming while I was here, better make this stay as comfortable as possible.
“So Arin, show me the other pool then!” I replied to him enthusiastically.

“Why aren’t you giving me the same name as the others do?” Arin smiled and I felt the need to run my hand through his curly hair, just in a friendly way of course, he was ‘coochie coo’ - cute.
“What do you mean? What Brian said? The kid?” I asked him with a slight frown and he nodded.
“Ah come on, we gotta stick together, do you like to be called like that?” I asked him and he seemed to think about that for a second.
“I don’t really mind, but I would appreciate you not calling me like that.” Arin said finally.
I nodded “Good, what should I call you then? Can I call you curly? Or maybe honey?” I chuckled at his shocked expression.
“Just kidding, Arin.” I laid my arm around his shoulders and motioned forward.
“Lead the way, show me more.” He chuckled and began to walk, his arm hesitantly laid around my waist and I had to suppress the smile, he was too cute.
“So where is that other pool, you promised ages ago? Is there really no swimming today?” I asked again, after we were done with all the rooms downstairs, again very impressive with the game-room with the pool-table, and the entertainment room with every game console available, no questions about the fact that some were a gamers here in the house.
“No, sorry… how about I show you the garden and the outside pool and after that we gonna cook something to eat?” Arin asked and my shoulders slumped down, I really hoped to go swimming, but okay maybe tomorrow.

“Sounds like a plan.” We headed back upstairs and we walked past the kitchen, I saw Brian standing there, Zack talking to him and our eyes met. I saw his eyes moving to Arin’s arm resting on my hips and then his eyes snapped up to mine… he frowned.
Arin let go of me and opened the door of the terrace and held it open for me to go out.
I walked out and looked around “Wow, this is beautiful.”
“We like to have BBQs here when the weather is good, it’s really nice having friends over and relaxing here in the sun.” Arin sat down in one of the chairs and smiled.
“Well, I can totally imagine that. It’s really nice… and no neighbors watching you sunbath huh?” I looked around, but not one house was in sight and even if, the garden was surrounded by huge trees and behind them there would be even bigger walls I guessed.
“No neighbors and no one to disturb.” Arin got back up from the sunbed.
“You didn’t plan on doing a BBQ soon?” I asked a little hopeful, imagining all those guys in their swimpants, doing a BBQ, lying in the sun and especially one of them could help me put on some sun cream-
“You want to make a walk around the property or rather have dinner now?” Arin asked and roused me from my thoughts.
“I would love to walk around for a bit, get to know you and the area a little more.” He smiled friendly and nodded.
“Very well, come on, I will show you more and just ask away, I am all yours.” Arin winked.

Josephine’s POV
Liv would be picked up by her date at 8 and she was freaking out. We did this every single time she had a date, and believe me, Liv was a professional when it came to dating, but the preparation… she just hated it.
“Jose! Maybe I should put on the other dress after all? I’m not really sure about this one? And the hair… I think I should put it up” She stood in front of the mirror and was twisting and turning to have a look at herself from every corner.
She wore the dress she bought this afternoon and it looked incredible on her, I just didn’t get why she was this insecure.
“Keep the dress, I will do your hair, sit down”
Liv sat down on the little stool in front of the vanity and I picked up a few strains of her hair and pinned them to her head. She finally seemed to relax a little. Then her gaze caught mine in the mirror and an evil smirk came over her face.

“You looking forward to your date?”
“It’s not a date. Apparently he won’t leave my side, you are out, so we are eating together. It’s not a date, it’s a business dinner”
An investigative look was shot at me by Liv, and then the look at her face changed into something more seriously.
“Jose, he is really nice, maybe you should just enjoy the night out with him”
I didn’t say anything, I really didn’t want to talk about it and I pretended to be very busy with Olivia’s hair.
“That’s enough Jose, it’s okay like that” She turned around to face me and guided me to the bed, where she sat down next to me.
“What are you afraid of Josephine?” I opened my mouth to protest, but Olivia’s grip on my hands just grew tighter
“Don’t go telling me he has no effect on you at all. I know you, maybe even better than you know yourself. You enjoy his attention and the challenge he gives you and I get it. He is good looking, he is very nice, he has a good set of brains and he seems attracted to you”
“He is not, I’m just a job”
“Tell me what happened the first time you noticed he was here? When he took you to his room to talk to you?”
I felt my cheeks heat up and I really hated my body at that moment, as if it wasn’t hard enough for me to keep things a secret for Liv, it was no use denying, now I had to tell her.
“He kissed me” Liv’s eyes flew open
“I never saw that one coming… So you both aren’t as contained as you would like to be. Was it any good?”
“He caught me off guard, we were fighting and before I knew it he kissed me, it was angry and I was so surprised I let it go for a bit and gave into it, but then I stopped it and slapped him” I didn’t think it would be possible, but I grew even redder. I was kinda embarrassed I did that, but it actually also felt very good. Such a passionate action, something I wouldn’t do normally.
“JOSEPHINE! How could you do that?!”
I chuckled softly “It was quite a good feeling to do it once”

“You are terrible. You should make it up to him tonight” she smiled at me
“How? Have sex with him? I’m not a prostitute, Liv”
She laughed real hard “No silly, of course not! You should just be nice to him, he deserves it, after that slap, after the horrible day he must have had today. Promise me”
“I will try, but I can’t make any promises. You know how I am when I talk business, I can’t fool around with that”
“He isn’t business Joe, you should realize that. I want the promise you will let go of your reservations tonight and be that woman” I looked at her questionably “That woman that is my best friend, the sweet, caring, fun, loving woman, I know she is somewhere in there.”
She kissed my cheek and got up “I have to go, Akoni will be waiting for me downstairs. Promise me now”
I looked at her and sighed in defeat “I promise”
“Good girl” One last hug and she opened the door, all ready to go “Oh hey Matt, have fun tonight!”
I looked up at the door, there he was in all his godlike handsomeness, dark jeans, white dress shirt, rolled up sleeves, showing his colorful arms, and then his face, a big dimpled smile gracing it.
“You ready to go?”

Jacky’s POV
Arin and I had walked around the garden, our arms hooked and enough to talk about. We had a lot in common and there was never a silence that we didn’t want there to be. He was like the little brother I never had. My sister had always been the serious one and I kinda missed a sibling where I could just have fun with. Arin certainly checked all the boxes.
“Arin, I’m tired, this garden is freaking big” we were standing inside a little circle of trees, I couldn’t even see the house anymore.
Arin lowered his body a little and turned his back towards me and looked over his shoulder “Hop on”
“Really? You are going to let me piggyback ride you?! AWESOME!”
I jumped onto Arin’s back and he walked towards the house again, never even slowing down. I would definitely like it here.

When we got closer to the house we saw Brian stand on the terrace
“Where the hell have you two been?”
Arin let me down and got a little blush on his cheeks “I was just showing her around”
“Shut up Arin, you don’t have to explain yourself to dad”
Brian shot me a dead glare and I couldn’t help but laugh, uh oh, I might have pissed him off. I quickly grabbed Arin’s hand and dragged him after me to the kitchen where the table was set for the 5 of us. Johnny was grabbing some drinks from the fridge
“Oh there you are, you got us worried, or better said, you got one of us worried” He looked behind us with a meaning look and I just knew it was Brian who was walking into the kitchen “Ah well” Johnny continued “Zack just walked to the door to meet the take out guy, we ordered all kinds of things, because we didn’t really know what you would like”
I smiled, that was real considerate of them.

“Could someone help me? Like right fucking now?” Zack muttered as he came into the kitchen, his one hand full of different bags, a few pizza boxes in his other.
Johnny rushed over to him and grabbed the pizza boxes and placed them on the table. They weren’t kidding when they told me they ordered all kinds of food.
I saw pizza, burgers, Thai, Chinese, Indian, there was enough food to feed a party of at least 30 guests.
We all sat down, Arin wanted to take the seat next to me, but Brian was faster, leaving Arin with a disappointed look on his face. I padded on the seat at my other side, at the head of the table and looked over to Arin.
“That’s Matt’s seat” he said quietly.
I looked around “Don’t see Matt anywhere”
“It’s not his place, Jacky, he knows that” Brian said, his mouth already full of food. Arin started moving to the other side of the table and I looked at Zack for help.
“It’s okay kid, just sit at the head of the table, Matt wouldn’t mind”
Brian’s head snapped up at Zack and gave him an angry glare.
“Did you leave us something Brian? Or were you to busy going in to caveman mode to even think about us?” His cheeks turned red and he slowed down on the eating, while the rest chuckled.

“I’ll have a burger and some pizza” I said and waited for everything to be handed to me and smiled, I think I will like it here.
