Brian’s POV
I walked back to Jacky’s apartment I had been gone for about 2,5 hours. Not nearly long enough to really clear my head, but it was nice for a change...
At least that was what I was trying to tell myself, problem was when I was on a job, I was all in, thinking about it constantly, couldn’t really shut down from it.
And this job... damn this job was really more confusing than all the other ones I had before.
That this girl could make everything so confusing for me that was something completely new... and I just couldn’t figure out how she could have such a strong effect on me.

I knocked on the apartment door and a moment later I heard footsteps, Zack stopped then must be looking through the peek-whole and I rolled my eyes at him, knowing he would gladly let me wait a little longer before the door.
“Password.” Zack’s voice sounded through the door and I heard the smile in his voice.
“Zachary sucks dick.” I replied with a smirk of my own.
“Wrong” Zack voice sounded again.
“Don´t play around, dumb ass. Open the door.” I told him but he chuckled.
“Password.”
“I’m an ass and Zacky is the best.” I said clenching my teeth and the door opened.
“Admitting is the first way to bettering yourself.” I walked past him and punched his shoulder.
“Don’t you think that joke gets old?” I asked and Zacky's laughing told me this joke was never getting old for him.

“So Brian, tell me how was your afternoon?” Zack asked and plopped down on the couch.
I sat down beside him, looking around a little, not wanting Jacky to overhear anything.
“She can’t listen, she is watching a movie or something with her friend, so tell me.” Zack replied and I was just about to ask him more about her when I remembered I shouldn´t be thinking about her that much.

“I went to see Katie.” I said and left it at that for a moment. Zacky lifted an eyebrow at me, wanting to continue and yes, Katie and I had fun and she was a hell of an expert between the sheets but today...
“And?” Zack asked finally “Don’t me let drag all the information out of you.”
“I saw her, yeah. She is a gorgeous woman, she waited for me like you said... She looked hot as hell...” All the truth.
“But.. oh come on Brian, I know you like the back of my hand. I know you better than anyone else. Tell me what happened and what is really going on with you...” Zack said and I let my hands run through my hair.
“Nothing that’s what happened. I talked to her that is all.” I shrugged my shoulder and I looked up to Zack he had a surprised look on his face.
“Really? You did not? Why?” Zack asked astonished.
“I did not, because I had to many things going on in my head. I just... shit... I never been in such a situation before, Zack. I never was tempted by a subject. I never lost my client, two freaking times, she is just a girl. Daddy’s little princess, but she fucking sneaked out on me. She could have been abducted, everything could have happened to her... And I sat here on her damn couch, not knowing she was actually gone.” I said and I realized that was all the truth, not only the situation that I hungered for her body again, but the possibility in her endangering herself was weighing on me.
That everything could have happened to her, while I hadn’t been able to keep her safe, my heart clenched in my chest... Fuck, I never reacted that strongly, but never had this happened to me before either.
“Shit... Brian. I know, I flew on a fucking plane to another city, hell not only another city - she was on her way to freaking Hawaii... and I wasn’t distracted by her sexy body, which is sexy no question about it, but.. you know what I am talking about right?” Zack made me look at him.
“We won’t let that happen again alright? I am in this with you. She will not be in danger again, we will make sure of this. Come on, we are the best in our job, we will show that again. Everyone has a bad day, and she is a clever woman... they both are. Maybe we underestimated the Daddy’s little girl part...” Zack said and I nodded.
“Yeah, you are right. She seems to be capable of much more than just that.” I sighed, yes and that might be the problem.

After a moment of silence Zacky was the first one to speak again, I loved my best friend. We could talk about everything without any limits and boundaries, he knew everything about me just as I did about him.
“Gates?” Zack looked at me again, his green eyes drilling into mine.
“Yeah?” I asked and I knew he really could read me like an open book, damn him for being my best friend sometimes.
“Do you like her? I mean... more than just the lust?” Zack asked and I frowned.
“No, I mean... Fuck, I don´t even know her.” Also the truth... but for how long? Shit, I had no idea anymore.
“Alright, then keep it like that, keep in mind she is a client. And if you think that it changes, you will tell me Brian, are we clear? And you will keep your hands off her. She is off limits, promise me?”
“Yeah, fine.” I nodded and heard some movement from Jacky’s room, she had a friend over right?
“Who is the friend?” I asked Zack and he looked at me with a eyebrow lifted.
“She decided, Brian, he is her friend, keep calm. Alright?”
Keep calm my ass... this couldn´t be real, right?!

Jacky’s POV
The movie was almost done, I hadn’t seen much of it, I slept a lot. Dean made me feel safe, with his arms around me.
“You snore” Dean chuckled
“I do not!” I replied offended, I moved away from him and sat up “Thank you for being here”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” His smile was friendly “Your boyfriend just came back”
“He is not my-“
“I know Jack, I was just kidding” he smirked “Not about the coming back though, I heard him coming in like 45 minutes ago or something. The other one refused to let him come in here”
I sighed, what did that man want from me? He was so confusing, but I would make it easy for him, I didn’t want him anymore.
The credits of the movie rolled over the screen and Dean got up, putting on his shoes.
“I need to go, I have an appointment for dinner”
“Date?” I asked him curiously, I know it was kinda mean, but for now I didn’t really want to share him with another woman, everything would change
“Yeah.. big one… with the parents” he smirked and we laughed together. His hand was on the doorknob “Are you ready?”
“Maybe I’ll just stay in here forever” I walked towards Dean and hugged him, he opened the door and we walked out, his arm around me
“Don’t be ridiculous” he whispered in my ear, while walking out “You are the great and amazing Jacqueline, play the part” He kissed the top of my head and smiled at me.

A clearing of a throat made me look up and I looked straight into Brian’s furious eyes. He quickly broke our stare and turned to Dean, shooting daggers
“What made you think you could come here? I told you to stay away from her, many, many times before, I’m fucking repeating myself and I hate that” Brian took a few steps forward and stood real close to Dean. Dean let go of me and pushed me to the side a little, as if he wanted to get me out of the way.
When I saw him grab Brian’s collar and push him to the wall, I knew that was exactly what he had been doing. I looked at the two of them with open mouth, Dean was a funloving person and I had hardly seen him fight in all those years I have known him.
“No, you listen to me for a change” He hissed at Brian, who seemed to surprised to even fight back in the first place
“I’m done listening to you. You keep throwing big words and even bigger threats at me, pretending you only care for her wellbeing, while in truth you are just jealous at what we have. You can’t have her, it’s not right, because she is your job and doing your job is probably forbidden by your boss, am I right?”
He looked at Brian as if he wanted an answer, but before he could talk, Dean continued again “No, don’t answer that, I know enough. You are one lucky man she gave you that one time, but you better understand that she is way too good for you and you don’t deserve her. She is not some sex toy you can take when you are horny, she deserves more than the occasional sex because you can’t keep your dick in your pants.” Dean’s breaths were short and he was still clenching on to Brian. He looked over to me and I must have looked shocked he would stand up for me like that, I mean I know he cares for me, but like this?
“Dean…” I tried quietly and that seemed to snap him out of his anger and he came over to me, putting his arms around me, hugging me tight.

“You think you can fucking get away with lecturing me?!” Brian yelled at Dean, storming towards him. I stood in front of Dean and Zack got a hold of Brian.
“Brian! Cool down!” Then he turned to Dean “Maybe it’s better you go” Zack said calmly “We really need to discuss a few things”

I hugged Dean’s waist a little tighter and guided him to the door. Half way Dean turned around to Brian and said calmly “She is worth more than your lust swinging moods… you should stay away from her” He looked at Brian pointedly and then added in a cocky tone “You really should let a real man handle her”
Dean let go of me for a bit to put on his coat and then put his arms around me again. He was acting like we were a couple, like he was saying goodbye to his girlfriend. He looked me in my eyes deeply and then winked, letting a little smirk come over his face…. That sneaky bastard, he was doing this on purpose.
“I will talk to you later sweetie, I’m just a phone call away, alright?”
I nodded and looked up at him, he put his finger under my chin and then kissed my lips softly. In the corner of my eye I saw Zack holding Brian back and Brian let out a growl.
I gave Dean one last hug and whispered in his ear “Thank you, but that’s enough”
He laughed lightly and walked out of the door.

I turned around and started walking for my room again when Brian came towards me “Jacky”. I didn’t stop and ignored him completely. Just before I stepped into my room and turned to Zack
“I would like some pizza for dinner, could you please order and call me when it’s here?”
Zack nodded curtly and I walked into my room.

I let myself fall on the bed and yelled out of frustration into my pillow. Brian kept telling me he and I couldn’t happen again, then he kisses me, then he almost has sex with me, then he screams at Dean in a jealous action, what the hell did he want from me?! I was so fucking confused, but I would just ignore him, I had another bodyguard now, I would talk to him if I had to talk and in the meantime I could only hope my dad would be back soon and I would be released of these… watchdogs.
