Matt´s POV
I was leaning back in my chair with a smile on my face. This was the first night since the girls had been gone, on which I could think of something else than the fact at hand. I looked to my right and saw Brian having the same look on his face. Guess we needed to connect again.

The other guys were walking around the dining table, putting more and more on it, as Olivia was finishing the last few things on the diner she had been cooking for us. The main dish was some kind of pasta, but she made so many side dishes I wondered if she had been cooking all week instead of only this afternoon.

“Alright! It’s all done, everybody sit at the table please” Olivia called out as she handed Dean the bowl of salad as the last thing to be put on the table. Arin went upstairs to get Joseph and I watched all my friends sit next to me on the table, quickly filling every chair, leaving only two for Joseph and Arin. As soon as they joined everyone digged in, and I noticed Olivia adding a little more to my plate when she thought I wasn’t watching. I smiled, she had been nothing but nice the past few days and I couldn’t wait to give her back her friend. I looked at her, trying to catch her eye, making her blush when I did. She acted caught. “I… I.. Matt… You have to eat… Just take a little more….” I got the spoon out of her hand and put a little more on my plate, making her smile widely.
“You know.. with that amazing cooking of yours… I think I got my appetite back” I winked and ate everything that was on my plate. I really was hungry now.

“We will need a larger table for Christmas” Arin said as he leaned back in his chair, putting his hand on his belly, with a smile of satisfaction “I mean… we have no chairs left and over Christmas we have at least two more at the table”
I nodded “Yeah, maybe Jacky and Joe can pick something out to their liking, seems like they are not going anywhere, so they better have something to say about the house too”
Joseph shot me a glare “Wait a minute Matthew, you are pretty damn certain, I told you we would have a talk first after my girls are back”
“Sure… Sure…” I replied, letting my voice trail a little. I wasn’t really looking forward to that moment. I heard Zack chuckle and I shot him an angry look. Was he laughing at me now?!

“What’s so funny, Vengeance?”
“No… Nothing” a full laugh talking over now “I wasn’t laughing at you, Matt, I just thought of something funny”
I raised my brows “Well… Spill…” Zack laughed even harder and all of us were watching him now. When he finally regained his breath he took a look at Joseph.
“How did you come up with the names of the girls?” he asked, barely able to hold his laugh.
“Well, Josephine is pretty much self explanatory don’t you think? And Jacqueline… well… that was the middle name of my wife” Joseph replied with a smile. I could see he was thinking about his daughters, his late wife.
“Did you… Did you…” Zack was nearing the point in which he couldn’t talk again “Did you rather have boys?”
“No! Of course not, I love my daughters”
“Would have guessed differently” Zack snickered
“Why’s that?”
“By naming your daughters Jack and Joe?” Johnny joined Zack’s laughter and it wasn’t long before the whole table was laughing loudly, even though it wasn’t THAT funny.

I needed a night like this…

Brian’s POV
“I think it’s time for me to leave you young kids to it. I need my rest and tomorrow is going to be an important day.”
Joseph got up off his chairs and headed up to his room. The man was aging years with the day and next to everything I wanted for myself, I was happy to give the man his daughters back. I guess they would have a lot to talk about, but not the first week… or no.. better not the first month. Once I had Jacky back I would lock us into our room and we wouldn’t come out any time soon. I needed her with me, as much as I could, as close as I could.

“You two?” I heard Johnny ask “Just fuckbuddies or is the whole luuvvvvvv thing involved?” he looked at Liv and Dean pointedly, causing a deep blush on Liv’s face and a large grin on Dean’s. Leave it up to Johnny to get the intelligence out of the conversation and making other people feel uncomfortable.
“I don’t really know if that is any of your business” Liv replied as soon as she had found her voice again.
“Ah come on babe, we are amongst friends, we could tell them” Dean smirked and put his arm over the back of Olivia’s chair. I saw Olivia looking around the table for support, but she was forgetting she was at a table with only guys. Matt wanted to come to her rescue, but before he could say something Dean started talking already.
“Well, the sex on the first night was amazing, and so was the sex on the second night, and the third, and the”
“Oh come on! Shut up!” Zack let his head fall into his hands.
“If you got it flaunt it” Dean replied smartly.
“I don’t think that was meant to go about sex” Zack groaned.

“Physically everything fits just about right, everything else we need to work on, right babe?” He kissed Olivia shortly, but she moved away from him.
“Dean is not very good at sharing. Information mostly. The day he appeared on your doorstep, he had just left me that morning, not telling me where he would go. When I found him gone I thought I go look up my best friend and check on her.. Guess how surprised I was finding him here”
“Ah babe, we discussed that already, everything turned out for the best, right?”
Dean moved his arm around Olivia a little tighter and crashed his lips on hers, not leaving it at a small peck, but giving her the full treatment.
Shit. I couldn’t take this!

“STOP IT!” I let out a little louder than intended.
“Yes, stop it” Matt added “We need a rule. No making out while the girls are still gone. I can’t take it. Neither can Brian”
“What?” Dean looked at Matt shocked and I saw Liv’s face blushing even more than before.
“What what? You heard me. It’s my house, my rules. No making out in the open while our girls are still missing.” Matt clarified and I nodded.
“Sounds like a great rule.” I clapped Matt on the back, so he was aware that I was having his back on this.
“Sounds like a great rule?” Johnny mocked my voice and I leaned over the table but he continued without even acknowledging me “Are you freaking kidding me? And what means your house? I remember all of us standing in the contract.” Johnny let out half cry half laugh and I rolled my eyes at his outburst.

“Fine, our house.. but still I am the boss, I can make the freaking rules.” Matt said looking smug.
“I can’t believe it.” Johnny shook his head, looking to Arin and Zacky for support, but neither of them said something so I poked at Johnny again, knowing he had more on his mind.
“What more do you have to say to that, short one?” I narrowed my eyes on him and he shook his head again.

“Your girls are gone for a couple of days and you begin setting up new rules because you can’t stand seeing someone else make out? Why didn’t we get to pick this rule when you and Jacky or you and Joe were all over the couch, pool, hell freaking everywhere… Do you think it’s funny watching you the entire time?” Johnny let out and I guess I haven’t heard him talk such a long speech in a while.

“Well, I do enjoy it at certain times…” Zacky chuckled and I slapped the back of his head, but knowing he was just making fun, or rather hoped he was just making fun, that fucker.
“I think you can’t set up a rule which you will break again right away as soon as your girls are back.” Arin said looking between me and Matt back and forth.
“Well then let’s call it a temporary rule…” I lifted my eyebrows in question and saw Dean shaking his head vehemently, that he would be against it was sure, so I secretly flipped him off behind Matt’s back.

“But you guys are aware that we are having a hard time, right?” Matt asked his voice sounding sad, his head hung low and OH that was a good idea, so I put also the sad face on, heaving a heavy sigh.
“Guys.. no…” Liv got up and smiled at me and Matt reassuringly.

“Since I am the only girl here, I will make sure, we will keep your temporary rule and I think Dean will agree to it, too. Right, hun?” She turned to him and he rolled his eyes “Whatever, if you are not leaving our room for a couple of hours, it’s not my fault.” He grinned again and how can someone be even more cocky and arrogant than myself?!
Did I just really think that?

“Great, so rule is set.” Matt looked happy suddenly and making Liv and the rest of the guys gap a little.
“So back to the task at hand…” Matt sat down on the table and the others stared at him.
“Did you just fool us with the sad face, you fucker?” Zack asked what all of them were thinking apparently.
“What? I have no idea what you mean…” Matt shook his head grinning.
“I’m gonna have a talk with Joe when she gets back so she is knows what you pulled on us here.”
“Yeah.. yeah.. you can have your talk in a few months, back to the main subject.” Matt chuckled and I grinned, my plan was exactly the same.
“I want you guys to be ready tomorrow morning at 7. I thought about this and I want you to team up. Johnny, you know the area and Arin, you too. I want you guys to be leading us.” Matt throw me a sideway look and I nodded.

“Dean, I know you want to be part of it but you are not trained as we are, you will wait in the car a little down the street, but you will contact us if you see another car pull up, if someone leaves or comes, anything that you think is important I want to hear from you.” Matt said and I saw Dean’s frown, he wanted to do more and I could understand that but Matt was right, we couldn’t risk taking him along.
“Liv, you will stay here together with Joseph, we only head out with the people that really need to be there, we won’t risk anything to happen to you.” Liv nodded.

Matt looked at me from the side “You got something to add?” I thought about that for a second.
“I agree with your plan. I will go with Zack and Arin and you should go with Johnny. Zack and I know each other moves and ways so that will fit perfectly, Arin will be our guidance and back up. You will have that with Johnny so that shouldn’t be a problem. We need to decide on what to take with us and which group starts where, but I think we can still talk about that tomorrow morning so everything is really clear for everyone. I think best is if we head early to bed so everyone is prepared for tomorrow, had a good night’s sleep or as best as everyone can, and tomorrow we are gonna get our girls, back right?” I asked and saw all our friends around the table nod their heads with a serious face, tomorrow…

Tomorrow would be the day of truth.
