Unwritten

I woke up with a killer headache and the scent of food.
"Hey." I mumbled, squinting my eyes at the brightness.
"Hey girl, you must have had fun last night."
"Yeah, i guess you could say that." I sat down at the bar table, i guess i stayed at Val's house last night.
"I saw you talking to that guy, so did anything happen. You know like-"
"No! I have a boyfriend." My cheeks started flushing because i did do something. Val's face curled up into a hug smile, did she not know?
"Who is it? Is it Zacky because i know you guys like to make out and flirt."
"No, it's not Z. It's Jimmy, although i'm not sure about it anymore."
"I knew he had a crush on you, i could see it. Is there trouble in paradise."
"Matt and Zacky both said that he cheated on me while they were away. But before he left i told him he could sleep with another girl since it would be a long time, if he promised to tell me about it and then he told me that he specifically wouldn't go around because he had me waiting."
"Oh honey." She gave me a hug and handed me a plate of food.
"I'm upset that he did it, but he broke the promise and lied to me."
"I'm going to give Matt a call to go kick his ass alright."
"I'm pretty sure Matt already did since he called me and told me."
"Don't worry when i'm on the road i'm going to watch him like a hawk okay."
"That is if we're still together."
"Don't think that way. Instead of leaving him for the one thing he did wrong, remember everything he's done right." I took Val's words of wisdom to heart, maybe i should give him a call.
