Adoption of the Christ

Ahh the new semester of school starts today which means, no more gym for me and that was exciting and yes I passed all my classes. I also did some thinking over the break and have decided that I probably shouldn’t have slept with my friends, but they all have girlfriend’s now and are very happy and by the way, Johnny was still see that Amy girl that I've only met a few times and I wasn’t sure about her but anyways, back to me. I was getting ready for school now, I pulled on a black lace bra and thong then some leggings with bones on them, a black tank and a pull over sweater with a skull that had a Mohawk and sunglasses, it actually kinda looked like Johnny but that’s beside the point. I pulled on my converses then grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs; I grabbed some water and put it in my bag then walked out the door and to the school.

I got my schedule and looked it over to see that I had Art, Science, Computer then lunch at the end of that class and Creative Writing for my last class. And the whole day was filled with papers, rules and teacher talking then I finally got to go home, when I got there Johnny and Amy were sitting on the couch watching tv ‘hey how was school?’ ‘Boring, I only have one textbook but I have to get something’s at the store for my other classes, here’s my lists’ I said softly as I handed him the papers I got from my teachers ‘ok, Jimmy can take you, he’s not doing anything today’ ‘oh, ok I’ll go call him’ I nodded then went up to my room and pulled out my phone to call Jimmy

‘Helloooooo’ ‘hey Jimmy’ ‘Cassybear! How was school!?’ ‘Boring, I only have one textbook this year but I have to get something’s at the store for my other classes and Johnny won’t take me, he said you would though’ I said softly then I heard moving and jingling ‘ok, I’ll be there in a few minutes so be ready’ ‘okie dokie, thanks’ ‘no problem, I’ll see you in a few’ he said then we both said bye and hung up. I set my bag down, grabbed my lists then went back downstairs ‘he’s on his way, I’ll see you later’ ‘ok, here’s my card and have fun’ he nodded as he handed me his card then went back to the tv, I sighed and walked out the door just as Jimmy pulled in the driveway then we were on our way to Wal-Mart.

Jimmy and I had a great time just messing around and gathering all my things, I was kind of a school supplies junkie even though I didn’t like school too much. Anyway, I was up in my room getting all my things together, I got a black 2 inch binder and some of those paper divider things and a pack of loose paper to go in there. I got two black five star spiral notebooks that had five sections each then a really cool notebook with a piano on the front for Creative Writing and a sketch book for art. I also got some scissors, a big eraser, black pens and mechanical pencils with extra led, markers, colored pencils, highlighters, a pack of fine and extra fine tip sharpies, some special pencils for art that came in a tin that opened up, some notecards and a pencil bag.

I put my dividers and paper into my binder then put it in my bag with my four notebooks. I opened up all my supplies and put everything in my pencil bag and put that in the main pocket then put the art pencil tin and unopened notecards in the front pocket. Once everything was all packed up I set my bag by the door and went downstairs to see if we were having dinner but when I got down there and into the living room all I saw was Johnny and Amy sucking face ‘well it’s obvious that you two are having each other for dinner so I'm gonna go make a hot pocket’ I said smartly then walked into the kitchen, I pulled out a hot pocket from the freezer, put it in the sleeve and put it in the microwave then I grabbed a plate, napkin and water bottle from the fridge.

‘Cass’ I heard Johnny say, I looked over at him as I leaned on the counter and waited ‘what’ ‘I'm sorry, did you want to go to dinner with us?’ ‘No, just go be with your girlfriend and leave me out of it’ I said as I grabbed my food and walked back up to my room to eat and watch tv. When I went back down after a few episodes of Haunted Collector I saw that they were gone so I washed and dried my plate then put it away. As I was leaving the kitchen Johnny came through the door by himself ‘hey’ ‘hey’ ‘where’s Amy?’ ‘I took her home after dinner’ ‘oh, ok well I'm going to bed I have school tomorrow’ I said and he nodded, I hugged him a bit then walked up to my room, pulled my sweater and bra off and just slept in what I wore today because it was comfy to me.

The next morning I showered and got ready, grabbed some food and water then walked to school listening to my iPod. When I got to school it was buzzing with people already so I just went to my first class which was Art and I sat in the spot I was in yesterday, I wrapped my headphones around my iPod then put it in my jacket pocket, zipped it up then took my jacket off and hung it on the back of my chair. I just sat there quietly while the room filled and when the bell rang the teacher shut the door then stood up front at her desk ‘ok guys, were going to be doing eyes today so everyone get out paper and a pencil and follow along with me’ she said and we all did as told and sat there the rest of class trying to draw.

The rest of the day was pretty boring and I was in my last class, Creative Writing, and our first assignment was to write down what we did over winter break and that took up half the class and for the other half we had to stand up and tell the class something’s about ourselves. I wasn’t looking forward to that but I listened to everyone as they went and I was one of the last people because of my last name ‘uh, Cass?’ the teacher said so I stood up and he smiled a little then nodded for me to go ahead and talk ‘I'm Cass, no it’s not short for anything, it’s just Cass. I don’t have any pets or anything like that, I have one tattoo and I live with my step brother and he’s in a band’ I said softly and the teacher nodded

‘Where’s your tattoo?’ he asked before I got the chance to sit ‘my side’ ‘can we see it?’ ‘Uh I guess?’ I said with a raised eyebrow then lifted the side of my shirt to show everyone ‘Alice in Wonderland?’ the girl sitting next to me asked and I nodded a little then put my shirt back down ‘what band is your step brother in?’ some guy from the other side of the room asked ‘Avenged Sevenfold’ I said and he smiled big ‘and if you guys don’t believe me I can bring in pictures’ I said then sat back in my seat and let the other people finish just as the bell rang.
