Adoption of the Christ

We finally got to the house and when we walked in I told the guys to be quiet as I entered the living room, Zack and Brian were both sitting on the couch with their backs to me and Johnny was sitting in front of them. I put my finger to my lips to tell him to be quiet, he gave me a look and I went on with what I was going to do. I leaned in close to their ears and screamed making them both jump and grab their chests

‘Fuck Cass!’ Zack yelled and I smiled then skipped away into the kitchen to grab a water, as I was bent over I got a huge smack to my ass making me jump and hit my head on the shelf ‘owie!’ I whined when I stood back up and rubbed my ass a little. I turned to see Brian and Zack standing there ‘pay back!’ they said and I narrowed my eyes at them ‘should we um-‘ ‘yeah probably’ Brian said and they took off running. I ran after them and ended up pelting Brian in the back with my water bottle making him collapse on the ground in the hallway before the stairs then tackling Zack in the upstairs hallway. I sat on his hips and pinned his arms above his head, he could very easily over power me but he never does

‘Did you hit me?’ I asked and he bit his lip and shook his head ‘are you lying to me Zackary?’ I whispered as I got a little closer to his face ‘uhhh, I uhhh, nooooo’ he whispered and I rose an eyebrow at him ‘we both hit you’ he whined and I nodded ‘thought so’ I said then started to pull away but he flipped me on my back and pinned my arms above my head but my legs were still on his hips so it kinda looked like we were fucking ‘no fair!’ I pouted and he just smiled down at me.

‘I’ve missed you’ he whispered and I smiled up at him ‘I've missed you to Zackary’ I whispered back and he pouted at the sound of his full name ‘oh don’t pout’ I said and he pouted more ‘how can I stop the cuteness?’ I asked and he shrugged ‘kisses usually help’ he said and I giggled a little ‘well come here then’ I said and he leaned down and kissed me, I kissed back and nipped at his lip a little ‘don’t tease me’ he whispered darkly and I just smirked ‘you know I love to tease’ ‘I know’ he growled and I just smirked more ‘let me up, I wanna go in the pool’ ‘don’t you have homework?’ ‘Do I ever do it?’ ‘No I suppose not’ ‘alright then, up I need to change’ I said and he nodded then got off me and helped me up

‘You’re foods here!’ I heard Johnny call from downstairs and I smiled then ran down there and took it from him ‘and why didn’t you pick me up mister!?’ I yelled and he just smiled a little nervously ‘well, I had to get you food didn’t I?’ ‘That’s not the reason’ I said as I sat myself on Brian’s lap ‘what am I a chair?’ ‘Yes now shush’ I said then looked back at Johnny waiting for an answer ‘I was with my girlfriend’ he whispered and I stopped stuffing my face and looked at him with narrowed eyes

‘I'm sorry I must have heard you wrong’ I said as I set my food on the coffee table and stood up ‘no, her names Amy’ he smiled and I rose an eyebrow ‘so seeing your girlfriend is more important than picking up your sister, who hasn’t seen you in almost a year?’ I asked as I crossed my arms and he just bit his lip and looked down, I shook my head and picked up my food then walked up to my room after grabbing my bag from the floor.

I sat at my desk and pulled out my homework and did it as I ate ‘Cassybear?’ I heard and I looked back to see Jimmy standing in my door way ‘enter’ I said then turned back around to finish with my math ‘are you mad at Johnny?’ Jimmy asked as he sat on my bed ‘no, just a little disappointed’ ‘how come?’ he asked and I sighed a little and turned around ‘I haven’t seen you guys in almost a year and he goes to see his girlfriend after telling me that he was going to come pick me up? Not that I was upset when you and Matt showed up but Johnny said that he was going to and I guess I just got my hopes up’ I explained and he nodded ‘well, he’s very upset that you yelled at him’ ‘I didn’t yell at him, I just talked loudly at him’ I said and Jimmy smiled then leaned over and kissed my nose making me smile also ‘just go talk to him?’ ‘Maybe later, I have to finish this’ I said and he nodded then stood up, kissed my head and walked out shutting the door behind him.

I sighed and finished my homework for the next hour then decided it was pool time so I shoved everything back in my backpack, including the gym clothes I’d need for tomorrow then I walked over to my dresser and pulled out the bikini I wanted to wear and changed into it. I opened my door then walked downstairs and through the living room to get to the back door ‘wow’ I heard and I turned my head to see the guys looking at me, I winked then walked outside and over to the pool. I tested it a little then jumped right in making a splash. When I came up for air I pushed my hair back then leaned my head back a little so my hair wouldn’t look to crazy and when I looked back up I saw five massive bodies running towards the pool ‘oh god’ I whispered and stayed where I was as they all jumped in doing cannon balls.

I giggled when I was lifted up onto Matt’s shoulders ‘Matthew’ I smiled down at him and he looked up at me the best he could ‘oh, hey up there’ he chuckled and I just rolled my eyes and smiled at him ‘put me down’ ‘but I like this position’ he pouted and I poked his nose ‘please? I’ll give you kisses?’ I said and he nodded then fell back making us both go under the water, I smiled at him as we were under and motioned him over to me. He swam over and I kissed him, he kissed back then wrapped his arms around me as we got up to the surface ‘hey I want kisses too!’ Jimmy yelled making me giggle ‘alright, who else wants kisses?’ I said and everyone raised their hand, I rolled my eyes ‘well Matt and Zack already got kisses so everyone else gets one’ I said and Jimmy, Brian and Johnny all lined up and stood in front of me as Matt kept his arms around me.

Jimmy was first in line so he bent down and I smiled then kissed him, he kissed back but he was being silly about it as he smothered my face in kisses ‘ok ok’ I giggled and he smiled then swam away. Brian was next and he just gave me a little kiss like he was supposed to then swam away, Johnny was next and I felt Matt tighten his grip on my waist so I turned and looked up at him ‘give us a minute?’ I asked and he nodded then went over to the other guys and Johnny and I walked over to the side of the pool to talk.

‘I didn’t mean to blow you off, I'm sorry’ he whispered and I sighed softly and grabbed his hands ‘I shouldn’t have acted like that, I'm sorry, you should be able to spend time with your girlfriend’ I said and he nodded then hugged me, I hugged back and smiled ‘Everything better?’ Jimmy asked as he swam over to us, I nodded and he smiled big ‘Good! We’re playing chicken!’ he announced and I nodded then swam over to Matt who of course put me on his shoulders, Johnny got on Jimmy’s shoulders and Brian got on Zack’s shoulders. ‘This is gonna go bad’ I said and they just laughed at me as we all locked arms and started pushing each other.

Matt and I won of course ‘woohoo, we win bitches!’ I yelled after I got off of Matt’s shoulders, they laughed at me and we spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool until my parents got home ‘Cass!’ my mom yelled and I looked up at her ‘what?’ ‘Go do your homework’ ‘I already did’ ‘then start dinner’ she said then walked back into the house. I sighed and lifted myself out of the pool and walked over to the towels ‘Cass?’ I heard and I looked back at Johnny ‘yeah?’ ‘Since when do you have to make dinner?’ ‘Since you left, a lot’s changed and not for the better’ I said as I dried myself off then pulled on the shorts and tank I took out here. I walked inside and started making spaghetti with sauce and meatballs. I made a lot because I figured the guys would be staying, I also made garlic bread.

I took out a glass for my mom’s wine and poured her some, then I got out six beers for the guys and my dad and I got myself a diet coke. I made up everyone’s plates and set them on the table then called them all for dinner. The guys got dried off then came in and sat down next to each other, I sat next to Johnny and my parents sat on the other side of me and we all started eating. ‘So how was tour?’ my dad asked the guys as we ate and they told us all about it, it sounded like they had an amazing time like they always did but they wanted to come home because it was such a long tour ‘so when are you boys going home?’ ‘Oh tonight, we just wanted to see Cass first’ Matt said and I blushed a little as I continued eating

‘well that’s nice, Johnny will you be joining us this weekend for the party’ my mom asked, it was going to be all her stuck up work friends so I was hoping he would say yes ‘I'm sorry I can’t’ ‘ok that’s fine, Cass I hope you got all the food for the party’ ‘I did’ ‘good, and don’t forget to make it early enough’ ‘ok’ I nodded then stood up with my plate and drink and walked into the kitchen. I sighed as I set my plate on the counter then started to wash the pots I used for the sauce and noodles.

I dried them then put them away and started washing my plate and fork as I heard shuffling enter the kitchen ‘hey’ I heard and I looked up to see Zackary ‘hey’ ‘your food was amazing’ ‘thanks’ I smiled and he nodded then kissed my head and walked away. This happened with the rest of the guys as they finished then my dad came and handed me his and my mom’s plate and her glass. I washed everything and set it on the drying rack then wiped my hands off and walked back into the living room where everyone was, I leaned against the back of the couch and listened as they talked and laughed

‘CASS!’ I heard my mom scream from upstairs, I sighed and walked up to her room to see her holding up a white dress ‘yeah?’ ‘This is fucking dirty! There’s a fucking stain on it and I need it for this weekend! You washed it with other things didn’t you!’ ‘I don’t know’ ‘well fucking fix it’ she yelled and threw the dress at me then pushed me out of the room and slammed the door. I sighed and walked back downstairs, passed the living room and into the laundry room where I laid the dress on the washer then started to scrub on the stain

‘Cass?’ ‘What?’ I asked without looking up and continuing to scrub ‘why is your mom acting like this?’ ‘I don’t know’ I sighed as I stopped and looked up at Johnny, he looked a little upset ‘if you ever need to come over you can, even if I'm not home there’s always a key under the mat’ he said as he walked in and hugged me, I hugged back and nodded ‘thanks’ ‘you're welcome, but we do have to go now’ ‘ok’ I said softly then walked out and hugged the rest of the guys. I watched them all get in the car and drive away then I went back to what I was doing.
