Kylie's POV

Matt and I were pretty much inseparable. We'd been together every day since the night we'd met. We had something together and we both weren't about to let the opportunity go to pursue it. Becca didn't know yet, but Matt and I were planning on having me move in with him. I knew Becca would be devastated, but sometimes people have to move on to be happy. I mean, I was happy living with her, she was my best friend without a doubt, but living with Matt would make what we had so much easier. I was going to tell her, but not until I knew for sure that it was happening. Plus, I was sure her and Jimmy would be living together soon also. They definitely had something going on as well. I saw the way they looked at each other. Same for Jess and Zacky. Were we all moving so quickly? I didn't think so. We'd known each other for quite some time and everything seemed perfect for all of us.
“Hey babe,” Matt came up from behind me.
“Hey,” I smiled.
“Jimmy and Becca are gonna stop by and hang for a while. That okay?”
“Of course it is.”
I thought about Becca. Should I tell her when she came over with Jimmy? Or should I wait? I didn't know. Perhaps I could pull her to the side and tell her away from Jimmy and Matt. Yeah. That's what I'd do. They showed up after ten minutes and I waited a bit before pulling her aside to tell her. I lead her down the hall a bit and smiled.
“Hey can we talk?”
“Sure. What's up?”
“Well, Matt and I are getting pretty serious and well... he wants me to move in soon, so I'm going to.”
“What? Are you serious?”
“Yeah.”
“What the fuck, Kylie! How the fuck do you expect me to pay for the apartment all on my own?!”
Her voice started rising and I stepped back a bit. That was not the reaction I was expecting.
“Becca, I--”
“Just forget it. It'll be your fault when I'm living on the fucking streets!”
She screamed in my face before storming off. I heard Jimmy ask her something and then the front door slammed shut. I sighed and headed out to where Jimmy and Matt were and they gave me a look.
“What the hell just happened?” Jimmy frowned.
“All I did was tell her I was moving in with Matt soon and she flipped. Said it'll be my fault when she's living on the streets because she can't pay for the apartment all on her own.”
Jimmy sighed and pulled me into a comforting hug.
“I'll go find her and talk to her. Don't worry.”
“Okay. Thank you, Jimmy.”
“It's no problem at all.”
He smiled at me and gave Matt a hug before leaving. Matt looked at me and pulled me against him.
“It'll be okay, babe. She'll come through.”
“I hope so.”
“She will. She can't stay mad at you forever.”

I nodded and buried my face in his chest. That whole situation totally back fired.
