Tension

**Val's POV**

Matt is fast asleep and I feel horrible because Brian hates my guts, so I decide that I should try and apologize again. I toss on Matt's hoodie and make my way towards the suite door when there is a loud commotion in the hallway.

Jimmy is screaming at Brian for trying to sleep with Alexis, and Alexis and Brian are arguing back that they are in love...wait what?! IN LOVE?!

Jimmy walks off and Alexis bounds down the hallway happily to make popcorn. Brian leans his back against the walk and sighs quietly, "She'd be the perfect Mrs. Haner"....say what?! The Brian I knew never thought about Settling down and getting married....this is clearly an imposter!

He pushes himself off the wall and starts to head back towards the front but I grab his shoulder and spin him around. Brian's eyebrows furrow together in confusion and I poke him in the chest, "Who are you?" I question and he rolls his eyes at me.

"Oh please tell me that you 'lost' your memory along with your common sense, and that's why you ratted me out my to your bitch of a sister" he snips out with sarcasm dripping off every word.

"I'm sorry about that..." I whisper and he lets out a heavy sigh before meeting my hazel-green tint eyes, "...but seriously, the Brian I knew wouldn't have just said that anyone would be a prefect Mrs. Haner" I state in a hushed tone.

He glances down the hallway and smiles when he sees Alexis dancing around with the bowl of popcorn. He never looked at Michelle like that! His chocolate brown eyes look down at me, "Well maybe I'm not the Brian you knew" he smirks and pushes passed me before swooping Lexi up into his arms.
Ok, maybe they are rushing things a bit...

...but at least they are happy.

Val approves! Hopefully she will defend Brian and Lexi to Michelle if need be.
