Best of Friends

That night I made it home around nine, I saw that all guy's cars were in the driveway so I parked in front of the house. I was not ready to deal with them, especially with Matt. How do I tell him how I feel? Simple, don't tell him. There, problem solved.
I took a deep breath and made my way into the house finding the boys sitting on every piece of furniture I had in the living room. Jimmy took up the love seat as he was laying down on it.
Brian looked up at the sound of me coming in and nearly tripped over Zacky, who was laying on the floor, to reach me. "Where were you?" He asked, practically yelling.
I shrugged, "Nowhere, everywhere, here and there." I said, pulling out of his grip to go to the kitchen. Him and the guys followed closely behind me.
"We were worried sick!" Jimmy laughed, nervously jumping up onto the counter. I looked into the fridge and pulled out some orange juice, I was addicted to the stuff.
"Well you don't have to worry anymore, I'm here, let's watch a movie." I said, changing the subject.
"I'm all for that." Johnny exclaimed, picking me up bridal style and flopping me down onto the couch.
"Wait, I have to go change into my P.J.'s." I laughed, pushing him off the couch.
Upstairs, I ran into a body, "Oof!" A small voice came out of that body. I flicked on the hall light and immediately regretted it.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I hissed at the girl who was here this morning.
Her lip hitched up as she stared at me, "Matt invited me."
"I don't what the fuck Matt did, I want you out of my fucking house!" By the last word I was screaming and pulling her down the stairs.
"Oww! Let go of me!" She screeched, trying to scratch at me. After I had pushed her out of the house I turned around to find Matt standing there.
"What the hell was she doing back in my house, Matt?" I hissed, my hands clenched in fists.
Matt didn't answer at first, rubbing the back of his neck, "She came by to keep me company. I told her she needed to leave and she wouldn't."
I laughed sarcastically, "So instead of actually trying to get rid of her, you fucked her?" I screamed, beginning to beat on his rock solid chest. "I thought I was your best friend! I thought you respect my wishes when I said I didn't want her in my house." I was pissed, I was so pissed I didn't even realize Zacky and Brian pulling me off of Matt.
"Kim, I'm sorry. I just," He stopped, not knowing what to say.
I stopped flailing and looked at him, "I love you." I whispered to him, tears falling to the floor.
I gasped suddenly realizing what I had said and rushed past him, running upstairs to my room and slamming the door.

I didn't go downstairs to say goodbye to the guys, I just listened to them talk and mumble to each other. I covered my face with my hands, where the hell has this day gone? I looked out the window at the night sky and began to miss my mother. She was always by my side with great advice when I needed it. Now, I didn't know what to do.
I heard all the guys leave, one by one. Brian was the last one, he was whispering to Matt, "I knew," I heard him say, "I could see it in her eyes." It was silent for a moment, "I see it in your eyes too."
My breath hitched in my throat as I listened to Brian talk. Did Matt love me back?
After a few moments the front door opened and then slammed shut. I heard Brian's car start up and drive off.
Matt didn't knock on my door, he just walked in front of it and stood there before sighing and walking to his room and shutting the door.
It hurt, I wish he had come to my room and knocked. Instead, he went to his room. I rolled onto my side and began to cry myself to sleep.

Notes

I seriously hated this chapter, I feel like I'm going to end up changing it...yep, definitely changing it.
