Matt shook his head and sighed. Please be alright, please. He thought as he looked at his letter.

Now

It’s been a month since Elliot asked for help from her parents. A month since she saw Matt and everyone. She sighed as she got ready for school. She pulled her top on and slipped on her skinny jeans. She walked downstairs and saw her parents. Her Dad reading the Newspaper while her Mom was making breakfast.

“Morning,” Elliot said as she sat at the table.

“Morning,” her parents said in unison.

Elliot smiled a little as she remembered her past. When Amy brought over Dan for the first time, when Matt brought over Val. She shook hr head and tried to forget her brother and sister.

“Amy called this morning. She said she wants to meet you after school.”

“She can’t straight after, you know because of the detentions but after that yeah.”

Mr Sanders looked up from the Newspaper and gave Elliot a disapproving look.

“What? I only have one more months worth of them.” Elliot said as her Mom placed her breakfast in front of her.

“You shouldn’t have gotten them in the first place, that’s all.” Mr Sanders said as he folded his Newspaper. “I’m off to work. See you later Honey.” He before kissing his wife. “Stay out of trouble, El.”

Elliot nodded her head and at her breakfast. After she was done she placed her dishes in the sink and went back upstairs. She grabbed her bag and her phone. After putting on her shoes she said goodbye to her Mom and made her way to school.

Elliot saw the school bus drive by and saw Addie on the school bus. A small frown made its way on Elliot’s face but she ignored that for now. She saw Arin and sighed. Arin hasn’t talked to her since he left her in Matt’s house. She knows that Matt gave him the note but that doesn’t change anything.

Buzzing came from Elliot’s pocket as she walked into school. She got out her phone and saw that it as a message. She smiled, thinking that it was either Arin or Addie, but her smile soon changed into a frown.

Looking good today.

Elliot looked around her and saw that nearly everyone was on there phone. She sighed and after a month of unknown texts she replied back.

Who are you and what do you want?

She didn’t wait that long before she got another message.

You know me, but not that well. And it doesn’t matter what I want. It will come together soon enough.

Elliot put her phone back into her pocket and made her way to her locker. She dumped her bag in there and locked her locker. She walked up to the nest floor and stood outside of Homeroom. She saw Arin and Addie walk past her and not say a thing. She smiled weakly and sighed as she thought about what she has done.

The bell rang and Elliot walked inside the classroom. Mr Tander smiled at her and she returned it. After five minutes everyone was in the classroom and all started to talk about their weekends to their friends. Eliot just sat at the back of the class, waiting for lessons to come.

Addie hasn’t spoke to her since she came back from her Dad’s, Elliot knew that Arin told her everything so she left them two it. The bell rang a little while later and Elliot walked out of the classroom and to her locker getting her bag out. She walked along the busy corridors and made her way into Latin. Addie was already in there but sat away from Elliot’s seat. Elliot just carried on walking to the back and waited for the teacher to come in.

Someone sat next to Elliot and Elliot didn’t pay attention to who it was.

“My sister got your message.”

Elliot looked at London and sighed.

“I thought you was going to leave me alone.”

“I didn’t say I would, Leana, yes. Me, no.”

“London, what have I ever do to you?”

“Nothing, I just enjoy making your life Hell.”

“You saw what happened with me and my brother so why don’t you piss off?”

“Do you want me to go around saying that you slept with my sisters boyfriend?”

Elliot shook her head and sighed in defeat. She wasn’t having anymore rumours out there about her. London smirked and got on with her work. Elliot was too distracted to work. All she could think about is getting her own back on London and Leana.

Elliot was in her last class of the day and was looking outside. Her teacher had set their work for them to do and Elliot had finished it all. Her phone buzzed and Elliot looked at the teacher. He wasn’t looking her way.

Amy
When can I meet you? Mom said you still have detentions xxx

Elliot smiled. Amy really knows how to cheer me up, Elliot thought.

Say about 5:45? Mom’s and Dad’s?

Elliot put her phone away and looked back out of the window. The warm September breeze falling in though the window. Elliot looked at the clock and saw that she had five more minutes of class left. She packed hr things away and closed her book. The bell went off and she was dismissed.

She made her way to one of the detention rooms and saw Addie in there. Along with five other people. Two girl and three boys. Elliot sat at the desk that was next to Addie. Mr King was watching over them and made it clear that they had to go at the proper time today.
“Addie-”

“Save it Elliot.”

“What have I done to you?”

Addie said nothing and looked down at her desk.

“You can’t think of anything because I dint do anything to you. Now please just let me explain.”
Addie nodded her head and Elliot smiled slightly.

Elliot recalled the story and waited for Addie to respond.

“Arin didn’t tell me that much.”

“I didn’t think he would. Did he tell you what happened when he found me outside the restaurant?”

“No, why? What happened?”

“He kissed me…?”

Addie laughed but stopped when Mr King looked up at her. Elliot laughed quietly and nodded her head to Addie.

“I told you that he likes you. Anyway, what happened with you and Jimmy? He told me stuff, but I want to know from you.”

“What did he tell you?” Elliot asked quietly.

“That you slept with him.” Addie whispered.

Elliot nodded her head and looked at her desk. Addie sighed and shook her head but patter her friends arm.

“It’s gonna be alright. Trust me, you’ll find someone else.”

Elliot just nodded her head and saw what time it was. A few more minutes and she can be set free from school. Mr King looked at the clock and dismissed them all. Addie and Elliot walked home together and caught up. They went there separate ways and Elliot went upstairs to get changed.

When she walked down the stairs she saw Amy and ran up to her sister. They hugged for a moment and let go making their way to the living room.

“Matt’s sorry, you know?”

“Amy, you should have heard him. I want to forgive him….but I can’t. Not yet.”

Amy nodded her head and caught up with her sister. Mr Sanders walked in and found both off his daughters home and laughing. He walked in and hugged Amy. She returned the hug and carried on talking to Elliot. Mrs Sanders kissed her husband and watched her daughters talk.

“I now wish Matthew was here.” Mrs Sanders said as she looked at the scene in front of her.

“He know that he’s in the wrong, soon he will come over.”

“How do you know?”

“I saw him today, he came by the office and told me to hand Elliot something. I’ll give it her later. Let her and Amy catch up.”

Mrs Sanders nodded her head and carried on cooking dinner. Mr Sanders went upstairs to have a shower. And Elliot and Amy stayed in the front room talking.

After dinner was finished and Amy went home Mr Sanders called Elliot into his study. Elliot walked along the hallway and made her way into her fathers study.

“Matt told me to give you this.”

He held out an envelope hand handed it to Elliot. Elliot nodded her head and went into her room.

Dear Elliot,
I’m sorry for the way I acted. I understand if you hate me but what I said was true. But if you find out that your little sister slept with your best friend what do you say? I didn’t want you to find out that way by myself or Jimmy shouting it out. I guess you did the right thing and walked out on us. Call me if you need anything.

Elliot left the letter on her bed as she stared at it. She was taking in everything he wrote. He really didn’t want me? Haha, I guess Leana was right. Looks like I’m never going to see them again.

Elliot closed her eyes afraid that her tears was going to fall and leaned back on to her bed.

I wrote this straight after chapter 7....so two updates!
