“I’m right here baby, I’m here.” Matt said softly as he picked her up bridal style.

Now

“Mom, you need to got home now! Yes…I know…it’s Elliot she’s hurt real bad…how long will you be? No, that’s fine…I don’t know…Mom I’ll call you if we go to the hospital.”

Elliot was crying softly in Zacky’s arms as he had hold of her. Matt walked back into the living room and looked around at the guys.

“I’m going to have to check to see if you have anything wrong with you,” Matt spoke softly as he knelt beside Elliot.

Elliot looked over at him and nodded slightly. Zacky helped her move and she rested her head on Zacky’s lap. Matt lifted her top to her torso and sighed. Bruises were already forming. Zacky stroke her hair as he saw her stomach. Matt looked intensely at the bruises and put her shirt right.

“I don’t think you have to go hospital, but Mom’s on her way home. She’ll have a look at you.”

“What happened?” Brian asked.

“I-I got a-attacked.” Elliot said with a slight stutter.

“Describe the attacker.” Matt said softly.

Elliot looked at the guys and sighed. She knew that she couldn’t describe Danny. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

“He was short, black hair, green eyes and he wore a track suit.” Elliot described the opposite.
“Do you remember anything else about him?” Matt asked.

Elliot shook her head and opened her eyes looking at Matt. Matt nodded his head and looked out of the window.

“Mom’s here.”

Elliot clung on to Zacky’s arm and Zacky tried to cam her down as he looked outside.

“It’s gonna be alright El,” Zacky cooed softly as he held on to her.

“What’s happened this time?” Kim asked Matt quietly.

“She got attacked again. I don’t know how it happened but she phoned Johnny and we got her.”

Mrs Sanders walked into the living room and saw Elliot on the sofa clinging on to Zacky with Jimmy, Johnny and Brian on the other sofa’s. She went up to Elliot and kneeled in front of her.

“What happened baby?”

“I was going for a walk and it just happened.” Elliot said while looking up at the ceiling.

“Can I look at your bruises?”

Elliot nodded her head and allowed her Mom to lift up her top. Kim sighed and looked at the bruises that have formed.

“You won’t need to go hospital but you will have to stay off school for a few days.”

Elliot nodded her head and was glad that she didn’t have to go hospital.

“Zacky, could you take her to her room please and stay with her for a while?” Kim asked as she stood up and got her bed from the floor.

Zacky picked Elliot up bridal style and put Elliot’s bag on his shoulder. He smiled weakly at everyone before making his way upstairs to Elliot’s room.

“You don’t have to change me, just take my jeans, socks and shoes off.” Elliot said as Zacky placed her on her bed.

Zacky took off her shoes, socks and jeans and tucked hr in bed. He placed her bag next to her bed and took off his shoes before sliding in next to her. Elliot cuddled up to him and sighed, knowing that she did the best thing but worst thing she had done.

Why did I have to get myself into this mess?

Downstairs

“We’re going to watch her closely now.” Matt said while pacing around the room.

“We did that and we then thought she was fine,” Mrs Sanders said.

“But Mom, she’s not stable enough yet. She’s been attacked twice.” Matt said, briefly looking over at Brian.

Brian hung his head slightly and looked at everyone.

“What if we make a schedule of looking after her?”

“Bri, we have to finish writing this album,” Matt said as he looked over at Brian.

“I know, but we have the middle stuff and shit.” Brian said.

“I think it’s a good idea.” Jimmy said as he stood up.

“It could be a good way to bond,” Johnny said as he looked at Matt.

“Guys, we’re rockstars, or trying to become rockstars. We can’t look after her that much.”

“Matt, she’s your sister, you have to make time for her!” Mrs Sanders said as she looked at her only boy.

“I know Mom, but it’s true, we’re becoming rockstars and it’s going to be difficult.”

Jimmy, Johnny and Brian sighed and looked at each other.

“What if we got everything done this year, get it sold this year and don’t write for the rest of
the year? You said we needed a change from you screaming and the next album is all
singing.” Brian said as he walked over to Matt.

Matt sighed and nodded his head. He walked out off the room and upstairs to see Elliot and
Zacky. He opened the door and saw them both asleep. He smiled softly and walked around
to her side of the bed. He kissed her head and his foot kicked her bag. He heard a thud and looked at the bag. He doesn’t remember her putting a box in there.

Matt picked up Elliot’s bag and took it to his room. He emptied the bag and found all of her clothes and the box. He lifted the lid and saw red straight away.
