Johnny nodded his head and made his way to the back garden. He glared slightly at Leana and notified everyone that Elliot had gone to bed. He then pulled Hannah away softly and told her everything that just happened upstairs, noticing how much Hannah really cared about Elliot.

Now

School was out for the winter break and Elliot was getting packed to go to Big Bear with Matt and the guys. She heard a knock on her door and she saw Johnny.

“Hey,” she said as he walked into her room.

“You alright?”

“Not bad, Hannah said that she’s happy that you told her.”

“Elliot, I should have believed everything you said.”

“Johnny, it’s fine. You know now and that’s all that matters.”

Elliot placed her suitcase on the floor and let Johnny take it for her. She laughed as he tried to carry it downstairs and ended up helping him. Brian was waiting at the door with the guys bag and he smiled at Elliot.

Thing were still a bit rocky between the two but they managed. Elliot trusted him again and that’s all what really matters.

“Ready to go?” Brian asked as he started to pick up the guys bags. Elliot nodded her head and took her suitcase from Johnny. She placed it in the back of Zacky’s car and climbed in the back.

Elliot got her phone out from her pocket and plugged in her earphones. Enter Sandman came on and Elliot looked out of the window. Someone sat next to her and she saw Johnny. He smiled and patted her shoulder.

Sometime during the long trip Elliot fell asleep while Zacky and Johnny were arguing about the passenger seat, which was full of spare blankets. Zacky looked in his rear mirror and saw Elliot asleep.

“Do something useful and grab a blanket for El,”

Johnny looked over at the teen and grabbed a blanket for her. He took of her seatbelt and unplugged her earphones from her phone and placed the blanket over her. Elliot snuggled into the blanket and Johnny laughed quietly.

“Dude pass me you’re phone,” Johnny said while taking a picture of her on his phone.

“Why?”

“Because this is cute,”

Zacky looked in his mirrors and saw Elliot. He smiled and handed Johnny his phone. Johnny took a picture and placed Zacky’s phone in the holder.

“She seems so peaceful,” Zacky said.

“I know. I think this is a trip she needed.”

“With all the shit going on, yeah.”

An hour later Zacky pulled up to Big Bear.

“And here we are!” Zacky said excitedly as he turned his engine off and met the guys.

Johnny got out of the car and left Elliot there, hoping that she wouldn’t wake up just yet.

“One of use’s is gonna haft to carry her. I’m too small.”

“Best be done after we put everything inside in case she wakes up and panics.” Matt said while looking at his sister.

The guys nodded their heads and opened up the boots of the cars. Matt handed Brian the keys to open the cabin door. Brian left the keys on the side and helped outside.

After twenty minutes of unloading everything Jimmy was the one to get Elliot. He opened Zacky’s car door softly and caught Elliot because she was leaning on it. Jimmy made sure that she didn’t leave anything in the car and carried her up to the cabin. Elliot cuddled into Jimmy and that made him smile a little.

Matt saw Jimmy come through the door and shut it behind him seeing Elliot was in arms. Jimmy placed Elliot on one of the sofas and grabbed his stuff then going upstairs to unpack.
Matt picked up Elliot’s stuff and put it into her room. He went to his room and started to unpack all of his stuff.

After everyone was done packing they all went into the large kitchen and grabbed a beer each. Every while they checked in on Elliot and saw that she was still asleep.

Elliot woke up to the smell of food and noticed that she wasn’t in the car anymore. She looked around her and noticed the familiar surroundings. She let out a breath and got up stretching. She walked into the kitchen and saw Zacky standing near the oven.

“Aright Chuck?” Zacky said as he hugged her.

She yawned and hugged Zacky back.

“Your still tired!?” Jimmy said too loudly for Elliot. She nodded her head and sat at the table.
Elliot tided her hair up from the annoyance from it getting in her face and put her elbows on the table.

“You have a cut on your head,” Jimmy pointed out.

“What? No I don’t.” Elliot said as she felt for it. She ran a finger over it and groaned in pain.

Matt stood closer to Elliot and gently turned her face to him. He saw the cut and frowned.

“How did you do that?” he asked.

“I don’t know,” she lied. Elliot looked around for Johnny and noticed him standing near
Zacky.

Matt hummed and sat down at the table as Zacky and Johnny started to plate everything up. Brian sat next to Matt and kept on looking at the cut on Elliot’s head. Zacky placed her plate in front of her and kissed her head.

This wasn’t unusual. Jimmy, Zacky and Matt have known each other since they first started school. And with Elliot being six years younger than them they protected her as if their life’s depended on it and Zacky and Jimmy took over a brotherly role, more Zacky than Jimmy.

Elliot ate her pizza and saw that Zacky had a hickey on his neck.

“You and Gena must have had a good time,” she said while winking at Zacky.

“And why would you say that?” Zacky asked her.

“You have a hickey.” Elliot pointed out.

The guys laughed and saw the hickey on Zacky’s neck.

“What about you last week? Elliot, even though it faded, we still saw it.” Brian said staring at her with a pointed look.

Elliot blushed and avoided all eye contact with the guys. She kicked Jimmy under the table but made sure that it went unnoticed by the guys. It did and she looked up at Jimmy. He was smiling sheepishly.

After everyone had eaten their food they made it into the living room with a beer in there hand, Elliot included.

“Never knew that you were a beer girl,” Brian said as he sat down next to Johnny.

Elliot just nodded her head and lay down over Johnny, Brian and Zacky. Zacky held her beer and laughed as she got a pillow for extra support to drink her beer without chocking.

“She’s always been a beer girl,” Matt said as he watched his sister.

“You know what they say, Haner. You learn something new everyday.” Elliot said as she
looked at him. The guys laughed and continued to drink through the night until they all passed out how they were.
