Dancing Girl

Brian POV

“So, that’s it. Hope you enjoyed my little get-together. Maybe I’ll see you another time in the club”, Katelyn says as she walks off the stage. She’s going to leave me hanging like that? No fuckin way! I want more! I try to walk towards her backstage but the security gets hold of me. I saw her getting backstage while she looks back one more time looking at me.

“Sorry sir, you do not have permission to go backstage. Please leave the stage.”
“Could you please tell her that I want..I need to talk to her just for a few minutes”.
“Sir please leave. It was just part of the act, just forget what happened”.

But I cannot forget, and I don’t want to forget. If I could I do it all over again, from touching her soft skin, to tasting her so sweet and letting her look at me seductively. I look over to the VIP section and motion to Zacky that I’m going out for a smoke. I need to get out of her for just a little bit.

As I’m smoking my Marlboro I keep replaying what just happened in the club. I cannot believe that I’m lost over a stripper. I exhale the smoke as I hear glass being shattered, not far away from me. I look over, couldn’t see anyone so I continue walking over from where the noise came from. I see a pair of legs, someone sitting on the pavement. I continue walking and I see Miss K wearing a black coat, which is covering most of her body now. She is barely wearing any make-up. She looks much different than the Miss K that just put on a great show in the club. She looks….normal.

She takes a sip from a drink she’s holding in her hand, as she notices me by the side. “Are you following me brown eyes?” I’m glad she called me that.
“Would you freak out if I say yes?” I smirked, but she looked up at me with a serious look. “No I wasn’t following you. But I did ask whether I could come and talk to you backstage. But they didn’t let me, fuckers”.
She smiled shyly, looking at the pavement, “Yeah you won’t pass the security. And why would you do that?”

I walk over to her, sitting next to her, “Well, after that show you put, the least I could get from you is your name. I don’t think I would be asking much”.
“Yeah, of course, that’s the only reason you wanted to come find me, I believe you Sir”, and she playfully hit me with her shoulder, smiling while saying so.
“Well….what is your name?” “I’m Katelyn”
“Nice to meet you Katelyn. I’m Brian” as I reach to shake her hand, smirking while doing so. That smile of hers, God I never get tired of it. That…those bruises on her cheek bones….I was right, those were bruises. But how did she get them?


Katelyn POV

Unbelievable, I tried my best to get away from him, but he managed to find me within minutes after the show. He is staring at my face, I can feel him doing so. I remember I removed most of the make-up I was wearing before, so I try to put my face in my hands, to cover the bruises.

“It’s ok, I already noticed them, I won’t ask about how you got them or anything…for now”, placing his warm hand over mine while moving it away from my face.
I do not know this guy, well, I just discovered that his name if Brian. But I know nothing else. Yet, I already feel comfortable around him, I feel a sense of calmness now that he’s next to me. A sense which I longed for when I’m with my boyfriend, but instead I only get coldness just by looking at Rick.

“So, what are you doing out here? Why are you not inside the club?” I ask to get away from the subject.
“Well, since I couldn’t get backstage, I thought of coming out here to have a smoke. One of the best decisions made this night I must admit, if you know what I mean. What about you?”
“I’m waiting for Nina, one of the strippers, to get the hell out of here. I’ve done my part for the night”.
“Maybe I should be part of your night as well, what do you think? It seems we can go along well, and know how to entertain each other, from what happened earlier on inside the club”, he says. I cannot figure out if he’s serious or not. So I just raise one eyebrow at him.
“Wow slow down cowboy! What if I tell you that I’m not single?”
“Well then I tell you that he sucks in the boyfriend department since you’re here alone, and you have those marks on your face.” He couldn’t have said it more perfect than that. As soon as I open my mouth to say something I hear Nina next to me.

“Ok girl I’m ready and we can leave and... Oh wow I didn’t mean to intrude.. continue. I’ll wait over there” as she looked to cross the street.
I looked over at Brian and noticed he’s glaring at Nina. This should be fun. “Yeah maybe you’re intruding so you can leave Miss…..”
Nina looks back at us, “I’m Miss N, thank you very much. And how rude of you! Listen, now that you said that, I think that you can suck your….” I cut her off, “Nina, honey, I’m coming and you weren’t intruding at all. Brian was just joking, right brown eyes?” I say while looking at him.
“Oh he’s brown eyes?! I thought I recognise his face from somewhere! Well, let me tell you that you’re one lucky guy, she never gives such shows! Ever! So, you better thank all the gods that exist for what happened tonight.”
“Yes I know I’m one lucky guy”, he says while looking at me. His look is captivating. I could just stare at him all night long and won’t get bored.

I hear a phone ringing, it was Brian’s. He looked at it quickly, cursing while doing so. He switched it off and turned to me. “Listen Katelyn, I have to go, my friends are calling me and I have to leave since I came with them. Let’s exchange numbers, maybe I’ll bump into you one more time, but this time it won’t be a coincidence, it would be intentionally”.
I looked at Nina, I read her expression clearly: she seems worried. She then looked at me and told me “Yeah Katie give him your number, even though I think he’s a bit full of himself” while sticking her tongue at Brian. As much as I was surprised by her suggestion, I had to laugh at this view.
“Haha ok guys quit it… here’s my number Brian”.

After he puts his number in my phone, I put it in my bag, and I looked at him as he licked his lips. Damn, those lips, so tempting right now. As we look at each other’s eyes I can feel some butterflies in my stomach. Why am I feeling this way towards him? Do I like him? As we’re staring I notice that he’s looking at my lips as well.

I come to my senses as I feel a car driving next to us, and which suddenly stops.
“Get in”.

Brian manages to find Katelyn afterwards :D But Rick comes along...what's going to happen?
