Dancing Girl

Arin POV

I sigh as I sit back down on the couch, still in disbelief on what just went on in this very room. Matt has yet received another letter threatening Nina as well, Zacky is pissed off and stormed off from my house, and Jason, Matt, Brian and Katelyn went to look for him. Hopefully they find him before he does anything stupid. It’s true I know him less than the rest of the guys, but I know that when he gets angry he needs to blow of some steam and sometimes he shocks us with what he does.

Right now Matt is pacing across the living room.
“Matt, come and sit here for a second please” Nina begs him.
“No I don’t want to. Everything is fucked up because of me. My best friend is hurt because of me and now he’s God knows where doing God’s know what. I never meant for this to happen”, he exhales sharply and all worried.
Nina gets up and stops him by putting her hands on his broad shoulders, looking into his eyes.
“We know that Matt, honestly we do. But you need to give some space to Zacky to be able to understand everything. And I am sure the others will find him in no time”.
“Yes she is right Matt”, Kim says, as she is sitting next to me. “He will be in good hands. But give him a couple of days to cool down first”.
“Hopefully nothing bad happens” I whisper. I feel everyone looking at me with sharp eyes.
“What does that is supposed to mean?” Matt asks, standing still.
“Nothing. I just want this to be all over. And I am hoping that Zacky controls himself. You know how out-of-control he can be whenever he is pissed off”, I reply, as Matt nods.

I get up and head towards the kitchen to bring some more beers for us, until we hear some news from the rest of the guys.
“Hey you”, Kim comes after me, almost startling me.
“Hey, you want some beer?” I ask her and she nods. I open the fridge and give her the bottle, as she settles herself on a stool by the counter.
“Something bothering you?” I ask her.
“No. But I think something is bothering you. You seem worried, more than usual”, she whispers as she takes a gulp from the beer.
“Well, I want Zacky back and for everything to be over. This is complete bullshit if you ask me. We never saw this coming. All we tried to do is help Katelyn getting out of a really bad situation and relationship. And as you can see, all this shows what a complete asshole he really is” I tell her. I sit next to her on another stool.
“Remember that Katelyn knows that. She might be scared right now and honestly I don’t blame her. But I’m sure she feels grateful towards all of you, or else she would have still been stuck in that relationship with that dick” she tries to make me feel better so I nod.
“Yeah, I guess you are right Kim”, I sigh and put one hand on my face, “Ughh we cannot have a couple of days without some sort of bullshit!”
“Maybe this will help you feel a little better at the moment”.
She leans forward and gives me a light kiss on my cheeks. I cannot help but smile at her sweet gesture. I absolutely like this girl, fuck, I might even love her! As she parts way I look at her face, both of our faces standing real close together. I cannot help it any longer, I absolutely cannot! Gently I grab her face with both of my hands and kiss her soft lips. Wow, this feels so good! The kiss is light and gentle. I tease her by licking her lower lip with my tongue. At this gesture she opens her mouth and gives me access to her mouth, each tongue teasing the other.

“You guys!!! Come over here quick!”, Johnny yells from the living room. This startles us and we instantly stop kissing each other. I look in disbelief, disbelief of what just happened right now in the kitchen.
”I think it’s better if we go there, seems urgent!” Kim whispers as she gets up from the stool and drink some of her beer.
“Yeah it is better if we do that” I agree with her and follow her to the living room.
Did we just kiss? Did I kiss the prettiest girl I fucking know? God, now I only want more!! Her soft lips felt so good with mine, making me not want to part from the kiss at any point, but we had to, thanks to Johnny.
“Guys, we’re calling the others but none of them are picking up their goddamn phones!” Matt says in a panic voice.
“What do you mean?” Kim asks sitting next to Matt.
“I’ve tried Katelyn and Brian, and Matt tried calling Jason and his brother but the calls were for nothing!” Nina explains.
“So?” I ask.
Everyone looks at me in disbelief. “So, I think something bad happened!” Matt yells as he gets up from the couch and grabs his car keys.
“Where do you think you’re going man?” Johnny asks him.
“I’m going after them” Matt replies.
“Yeah, and where is that?” I ask him.
He hesitates for a second. “I don’t fucking know! But I cannot stand here waiting with no news, it’s driving me insane! I need to get in the car and fucking look around. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll manage to know something!” Matt explains.
“Well, you’re not going alone that’s for sure. I am coming with you!” I tell him.
“Me too!” Nina joins.
I look at Kim and go next to here. “It’s better if you do not come, someone needs to stay here maybe they’ll arrive before us. Johnny and Laura should stay here as well for some company. I hope you don’t mind” I whisper to her.
She puts one of her hands on my cheek, “I understand. Go and try and calm down Matt. And Arin, please be careful”.
I smile back to her gorgeous face and together with Matt and Nina we leave my house.


Katelyn POV

“Shit!” Brian yells next to me, shoving me down in the car, not knowing why.
The next thing I know I hear a gun-shot, pretty close to where we are standing right now. I scream in fear. Who is shooting? And towards who?

*GUN-SHOT*

Another one! What the fuck is happening?! Brian curses next to me, still holding me down in the seat, making it very difficult to breadth.
“Brian what is happening?” I ask him.
“I don’t know!”

*GUN-SHOT*

“Fuck!” Brian yells, as we hear some glass being shattered. I look upwards and make sure that it is not of our car that we are in.
“That is it! I’m going out! You stay right here, you understand me?!” Brian tells me, grabbing my face while he says so.
“What?! No way! You stay right here or else I will come with you!” I yell at him!
He shakes his head, “No fucking way! You are going to stay in this fucking car and do not move!”
Brian gives me a kiss on my lips and looks away, going to open the car door. I get hold of his arm and make him look at me.
“Can’t you stay here? It is not safe there!!” I yell.
“What if he is shooting at Zacky?! No, I cannot stand here at this possibility. And don’t you come, don’t let him see you or else he will definitely grab you and take you to Rick!”
By that sentence he leaves the car and slams the car door shut after him.
I keep my promise I made with Brian. I am still down in the car, hoping that Zacky is okay and that Brian would not get hurt. Tears start rolling down my cheeks at the horrible thoughts haunting my head right now.
Please God no!

*GUN-SHOT*


Brian POV

I get out of the car and run towards the direction the man with the gun was pointing earlier on. I don’t know where he went but my guess is that he moved further on to that same direction. I just hope that Katelyn stays inside the car and does not come out. I wish I would have not left her alone in the car but instead stayed with her, but right now I cannot do that. I have to go and find my best friend, the same person which has been with me through thick and thin since we were just little kids.

As soon as I am around the corner I see the man in black clothes pointing the gun and shooting it again. Goddamn it, it is fucking loud! Quickly I take cover, still looking for Zacky. I cannot see him, where the hell is he?!
All of a sudden I see a person running by, Zacky! What the hell are you doing man? I want to shout at him but I decide not to so as to not put his life in more danger. But just like I have noticed Zacky, so does this man. He turns around and aims at Zacky.
Oh fuck to the no I won’t let you shoot at him!!
With all the strength I have I run towards this man and punch him in his head. I continue punching him from behind, always aiming at his head so as to make him weaker and weaker by every hit.
He kneels to the ground, putting his hands over his head when all of a sudden he grabs me and throws me to the ground. I try to shove him away from me but struggle to do so, as he starts hitting me with his bare hands. I look by the side and notice that his gun is on the ground. Perfect.

At that same time he puts his hands around my neck and start tightening his grip, making me cough real bad as I struggle to breadth some air. I stat kicking my feet and I put my hands on his face, punching him with the only strength that I have left. I start getting dizzy and I cannot help but start thinking about the beautiful girl that got into my life: Katelyn. If I die at least I die for her, as long as she is safe.
I let go. I take off my lifeless hands from his body as they fall to the ground. I lean my head to the side as I feel my eyes closing, very slowly.

*BAM*

All of a sudden I feel my neck getting loose, it is not tight anymore. I start coughing as I grasp for air, and I open my eyes and do not see the man strangling me, but instead I see Jason helping me up by hitting me on the face to wake up and stay with him.
I look by the side and see his brother Matt punching the hell out of the man, he must have hit him in the head with a metal rod or something to get him off of me.
Zacky comes along and start hitting the man with a bat, fuck it does not look good. Somehow I see them struggle over the gun that was laying on the ground, all three of them.
