Dancing Girl

Brian POV

I’m trying to run as fast as I can, but I cannot run any faster. I need to get to Katelyn’s house as soon as possible, I need to get to her and help her, save her from that sick son of a bitch. I promised her that if something bad happens, I’ll be there in a blink of an eye. I need to keep my promise.

When I go back to the room to see where the guys where, I see Katelyn laid on the bed and Rick was coming towards the camera. He flip us out, take out a paper and write something on it. When he was done he put it in front of the camera and it says:
“You think I’m that dumb you jerks? Good luck getting Katelyn away from me. Good luck finding her….Brian” as he switches the camera off.
I can’t believe what I just read. Is he serious?

As I enter my car, I hear Matt coming running after me, calling out my name.
“Not now Sanders, I’m not in the mood of one of your lectures. I need to get to her house”.
He opens the passenger door. “Fuck, what I was going to say is to wait for me as I’m coming with you. I’m not out of my mind yet, so I’m coming with you”.
As soon as he said that, I hit the gas pedal and drove to her house.

A million thoughts were going through my mind right now, none of them were pleasant. Was he trying to rape her? It was clear she didn’t want to have sex with him. What did he mean by ‘good luck finding her’? Was he doing to take her somewhere? Was he actually going to, kidnap her? I felt a lump in my throat at this thought.
“Brian, slow down a bit. I don’t want to die yet”. I slowed down just a bit, I haven’t realized I was going that fast. That was until my mind went thinking about what Rick could do to Katelyn, and I hit the gas pedal once more.
“Shit Brian, you just went through a red light! What if another car was coming huh?!”
“I don’t care. We need to get there, I need to be there”. I sigh, as I turn around the corner of her street.

I park exactly in front of her house and get out of the car running.
“Brian, there is no car in front of the house”, Matt tries to point out.
“Maybe he didn’t come with his car, maybe…..” I stop while running towards the house. Matt was right, the fact that there was no car outside isn’t looking good for us. The probability that he already took off is much higher.
I search for her house key, she said she left it for us under a plant. I forgot to ask which plant was it, so I flip each plant over until I found the goddamn plant which was on top of the key. I got the key into the keyhole and flung the door wide open that it actually hit the wall.

“You search downstairs, I will go upstairs”, I tell Matt while we both start searching all the rooms in the house.
I go up the stair 3 steps at a time as I start opening each and every door. I even start to open and check the closets to make sure that I would have searched everywhere. The last room to check is Katelyn’s bedroom, I hope for the best. I kick the door wide open with my foot and enter the room.

The room is empty, no-one was there. I start going around the room to find anything that maybe she left as a clue where they went, but I come empty-handed. I only find 1 thing, a note which was on the bed, exactly where Katelyn was left when he hit her before he turned off the camera.

Mess with the wrong people, and you only get what you deserve. You want to play a game? I sure do. I took Katelyn, somewhere far away from you and your jerks. Now who’s the boss? I am still the fucking ruler, of both you and her. I would know if you call the police, I know a police who can work for me whenever I ask. So is you even dare to call the police, all that happens to Katelyn would be on you Brian. Adios motherfuckers!

I hear Matt running into the room as I keep looking blankly at the paper, fuming at what I just read. He takes away the paper from me and read it on his own. Once he reads it he threw it away in the air, cursing while doing so.
“That son of a bitch, what game does he want to play? He thinks he’s the fucking boss of me! No one is the boss of me. Oh I will sure send that message to him once I find his skinny ass!” he shouts.
“Well, he sure is the boss of this situation Sanders”, I say quietly, still thinking about what just happened.
“What do you mean Brian?” he tells me with a cocky look on his face.
“Don’t you get it? He knew our plan, he took away Katelyn to god knows where and I don’t even want to know what he’s doing to that poor girl. So yes, we’re basically the puppets of the show or the game, call it what you fucking want and he’s the one controlling everything!” I say to Matt in one breath.

As soon as I finish the sentence he slaps me hard on my face. What the fuck was that for? I’m already fuming so that slap threw me over the edge and I punch him straight to his face. Once I do so, he gets ahold of me by grabbing me from my chest and pushes me to the wall, glaring me an angry look.
“Since when you became a pussy, huh Haner? Since when? You’re already going to quit? Fucking shit Brian where are your manly balls?”
I grab him by his shirt as well. “Can you tell me how the fuck are we going to find her? We cannot call the police, he has some people on the inside. And I don’t take it as a surprise that that was one of the reasons he got released that shortly. So you have an idea what we can actually do? I sure as hell don’t so don’t tick me off and get the fuckin off of me”.

“I didn’t tell you I had an idea already, but if you still have your ball sack attached to your body as your manly part then yeah I’m sure we can think of something. I’m not going to let this fucker get into my head. That’s what he’s trying to do with you Haner, don’t you see it?”
“Well he’s fuckin succeeding I can assure you”, I say, scratching my head.
“So don’t let him. Brian, we’re going to find her.”
A scary thought comes through my mind. “What if it would be too late Matt?”
He grabs my shoulders, “Katelyn is a strong woman. She put up with him for all these months. I’m sure she knows what to do best and not to give in”.
I nod at his words. Maybe he’s right, maybe we can actually save her in time.


Matt POV

This is all fucked up. I never thought that it would get to this: Rick kidnapping his girlfriend and him knowing our plan all along. How did he get to know our plan? Did someone tell him about it? It’s impossible, we were the only ones knowing about it.

Anyways, Brian looks so helpless right now. I have to admit, the situation doesn’t look good. But I have to put some sense into his head of his. I think his feelings are getting ahold of him and is too afraid that something bad already happened to Katelyn that he’s preferring not to do anything. But the big question still remains. How are we going to find Katelyn? They left nothing as a clue, we have no idea where he took her and what he’s going to do to her. I have to keep my word to Brian, we have to work on something to find her. We have to meet with the rest of the guys and start.

I hope this all ends well, for Brian’s sake. I haven’t seen him like this towards a woman in quite a while. Since his last relationship with Michelle, he only had one night stands with women as he was afraid of getting attached to someone else again and getting his heart broken. But everything with Katelyn is different even though he has never spoken about his true feelings towards her, and most probably he won’t talk about them for quite a while. Is he going to get heartbroken by the results of this situation?
