ATTENTION READERS: I posted two chapters today so read chapter 10 first :)

**Jimmy's POV**

I turn back and face Ms. B and hope that she's not mad at me for the hug....she is smiling so that is a good sign.

"Wait, do you have a minute?" she asks sweetly and I nod my head yes. "Jimmy, I wanted to tell you that I think you're incredible. I've never seen anyone with as much love and passion for music than you have, and I've been around musicians most of my life....you're one of a kind and trust me when I say that is a good thing." she beams and it causes a lump to form in my throat...no girl has ever praised my talents before...most of them just call me a weirdo and dismiss me before I get a chance to show them that I'm not insane.

I smile back at her, "Thanks Ms. Barrell.." I say but am stopped by her waving me off.

"You can call me Ryn when we are outside school...I'm only 5 years older than you and it makes me feel super old when people address me so formally outside school hours" she giggles.

A full smile forms on my face because I never realized she was that close in age to me...I just thought she looked great for her age, which I assumed was in her 30's.

"Ok then Ryn" I start and see her blush slightly...'huh, I wonder if she was flirting with me earlier because she's hot and I definitely wouldn't mind that!' I think inwardly before locking my crystal blue eyes onto her light brown ones, "I really appreciate you telling me how you feel about me because I think you're pretty amazing too" I say and she blushes an even deeper shade of crimson.

"Thanks, that means a lot coming from you" she replies with a slightly shaky breath before clearing her throat and continuing to speak in a more normal tone, " I also wanted to tell you that even if things don't work out with you and Morgan not to let it get you down...you are a great looking guy and I know plenty if girls who would be honored to date you"

I step forward and whisper, "I think you're pretty great looking too, Ryn" before connecting my lips to hers and backing her up against her desk. She gasps loudly and gently places her hand on my chest and pushes me back off of her. Her cheeks are either red with anger or flushed with excitement..

...I'm thinking it's not the latter.

**Ryn's POV**

I am just about to tell Jimmy that I think he would be perfect for my niece, when he kisses me and pins me against my desk...don't get me wrong, his lips feel amazing against mine and he's extremely good looking, but I'm not about to lose my job or go to prison just for a one time go-around with him across my desk... so I place my hand on his chest and push him back off of me.

I can feel my face burning with embarrassment and Jimmy is looking at me with apologetic eyes...he attempt to turn and leave but I grab his arm.

"Jimmy....I....look, I do like you but you are my student and what just happened, could never happen again, or I could lose my job or go to prison" I say and hear him sigh.

"I'm so sorry, I thought.." he starts but doesn't finish his sentence...I'm not dumb, I can assume what he thought.

"Hey, it's ok...I'm not going to say anything, and I hope you won't either... so, no harm no foul." I say and playful shove his shoulder causing him to smile again. "Anyway, before that thing happened that we aren't going to talk about, I was going to see if you might be interested in going out on a date with my niece...she's beautiful, sweet, has an awesome taste in music! Plus, she actually went to one of your band's shows and thought you were sexy and super talented"

I pull out my purse and show him a picture of her and he grins and agrees to meet her over the weekend at the beach. I give him her number and ask if it would be ok to pass his number to her as well. He jots it down on a piece of paper and hands it to me before leaning over and attempting to kiss me on the cheek but I jokingly hold up my hand like I will slap him if he tries again so he just shakes it and rushes out the door.

I'm sure class with Jimmy shouldn't be too awkward from now on, right?!

**Morgan's POV**

Brian is still holding onto my hand as we make out way outside and I look around for my mom's car but I don't see her anywhere. I hope the school didn't call her and tell her I got detention and she decided her punishment is to make me walk the entire way back to our house.

Brian glances down at me and smiles, "Are you looking for your ride?" he says smugly and I roll my eyes and nod my head. He places a kiss to my temple and whispers, "I had Val call your mom last night and ask her if you could hang out at her house today so we could spend some more time together."

I'm honestly shocked my mom agreed but I guess she doesn't find Val to be a threat so she agreed. I'm super paranoid my mom is going to find out I'm not there and so I can't help but worry. Brian must recognize the panic and tells me not to worry that Val lives right down the street from him so if my mom calls that she can run over and grab me. I can't stop smiling because he had taken the time and planned this all out...it's heartwarming.

"So are we walking to your house?" I ask and he shakes his head no and leads me over to his car. Ugh, I can't wait until I'm old enough to drive...one more year! He holds the passenger's side door open, like a gentleman, and I slip inside and relax back against the leather interior. I catch a glimpse of Michelle out of the corner of my eye and I can see that she is fuming at the ears with anger. I can't help but let a small laugh escape my throat just as Brian climbs in the driver's seat.

He gives me a quizzical look, "What are you all giggles about over there?" he teases as he sticks the car into drive. I really don't want to ruin his good mood by telling him that Michelle's pissed off expression was the real reason I was laughing so I decide to tell a harmless white lie.

"I am just impressed that you tricked my mom" I say because part of me truly is. "So.. what do you have planed for our date?" I ask but he just shakes his head no.

Ugh, I hate surprises!

**Brian's POV**

I pull into my driveway and rush to open the car door for Morgan. She smile appreciatively back at me and we make our way inside my empty house since both my parents had to work and my siblings all had other plans.

"Ha, please tell me that you don't live alone and own your own house?" she jokes.

"No, but that would be kind of badass if I did! Everyone else is just busy or at work" I clarify and she giggles and removes her shoes. "Would you like something to drink?" I ask and she raises and eyebrow at me wondering if I'm attempting to get her drunk. "Relax, I meant water, juice, soda?" I say and she breaths a sigh of relief and asks for a water. I reach in the fridge and grab two bottles and lead her into the living room.

"You have a really nice house" she comments and I politely thank her as we both take a seat on the couch.

"Do you want to listen to some music, watch a movie or play a video game?" I suggest and she gets a wicked grin across her face.

"Video games!" she shouts and I don't know why she's so excited...I'm a killer at them and she's walking into a sure slaughter. I pop in Left 4 Dead and surprisingly she is holding her own, if not doing better than I am. Seriously, just when I thought I couldn't be any more blown away by her, she proves me wrong yet again.

Michelle never really took an interest in anything that I liked to do...I mean, she liked when I would play the guitar for her, but would rarely come to band practices with Val because she always said she had something else to do. Unfortunately, I would always get dragged to the mall, shopping with her and her bitchy friends but she would complain when I suggested just chilling around the house or hanging out with MY friends....that really pissed me off.

Morgan is everything that I always wished Michelle would be...they are both stunningly beautiful but Morgan's personality is what makes her irresistible to me.

"So does your whole date include me kicking your ass at your own game or do I get more?" she teases and playfully shoves my shoulder with hers.

I can help it, I take the controller from her and lay both mine and her's down on the side table before pulling her onto my lap and kissing her passionately. She kisses back but tenses up slightly and I remember that I promised to take it slow, so I reluctantly pull my lips from her's and softly trail kisses down the side of her neck and across her collarbone before pulling back to look at her.

"I'm sorry...I don't want to rush you but I think you're incredible and I just wanted to show you" I mumble out before allowing her to slide off my lap and back onto the couch. "Hey, I have an idea....let me cook you dinner!" I say and she looks taken aback so I mock pout and nuzzle my nose against her ear and whisper, "I promise my cooking isn't as bad as my video game playing tonight" I say and she lets out a laugh.

"Deal!" she squeaks and I pull her up to her feet and lead her into the kitchen.

"So do you have any food allergies?" I ask and she shakes her head no. "Alright then, have a seat and watch me work my magic" I say and wiggle my eyebrows at her causing her to laugh again.

I could really get used to that sound.

Up next the rest of Brian and Morgan's date..

I love the idea of him offering to cook her dinner because I find it sexy when a man wants to cook for me :)

In the next couple chapters will be Jimmy's blind date so prepare yourselves for more of his irresistible charm :)
