I can't believe we are leaving this god forsaken pest hole!! I could shout to the top of my lungs in joy but I'm not sure how this is going to go. I mean whoever is crazy enough to takenin all three of us has to have some kind of death wish or something. Especially on my account. I packed everything that I owned and rechecked and rechecked over and over again just to make sure I hadn't missed a damn thing. I packed my 4 large bags of sunflower seeds into a separate bag so I wouldn't have to jam everything into one. After I had finished packing, I helped Brandy since she's a little disorganized when it comes to packing. I left out my best outfit of black jeans with the knee completely ripped out, a black Avenged Sevenfold tank top, and my necklace, rings, and bracelets that always wear.
When Kalico told us the news earlier in the day about us getting to leave tomorrow, I could tell she wasn't too certain about being taken out of here and being kept together. If whoever is taking us in tries to split us up...oh there will be hell to pay. I set mine and Brandy's bags near the door that we could just take them out when we get up in the morning and I laid n bed while Brandy was already asleep. I still don't see how she falls asleep that fast. I stared up at the ceiling wanting to sleep but I was afraid to close my eyes because of...well you know and on top of that my brain was running a hundred miles an hour about who it was that will be taking us from this hellhole. I started thinking about Brandy had said about my so called sunflower seed addiction and I hope they don't mind this little habit but I wouldn't give a shit either way. I mean I will eat them regardless of what they say.

I jolted up out of bed from yet another nightmare. I tried to keep myself from going to sleep but racking my brain with who the people we are supposed to meet today are going to be but I couldn't keep my stupid eyes from growing heavy and closing into a nightmare. I checked the clock seeing that it was almost 7 in the morning and I knew Kalico was already up and Brandy would be getting up soon. I pulled myself out of bed and grabbed my clothes for today and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I rubbed the sleep lazily out of my eyes as I turned on the water and stripped from my sleep clothes. I stepped into the shower letting the water cascade down my back and I looked at the scar that shone on the flesh of my shoulder. I ran my hand over it feeling every pain that...Croc inflicted on me. I shook the thoughts from my head and continued with my shower.
I finished my shower as quickly as I could and dressed into the clothes before leaving the bathroom with my pajamas. I folded them up and placed them inside my bag and zipped it back up just as Brandy was stirring. I grabbed my bag of sunflower seeds from my other bag and immediately started digging in.
"I see you're ready to go already."
"Brandy, I've been ready to leave ever since Kali told us about it yesterday." I sad laughing before stuffing my face with another handful of the seeds.
"Hell me too. I just hope these people can handle you...I mean us."
"Very funny Brandy." I said sarcastically as she laughed while she got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I got up from my bed and brought my bags from the floor and sat them on the bed as Brandy was in the shower. I unzipped one of the compartments and pulled out a picture of my mom and dad. I miss them so much and these people better not expect me to be calling them mom and dad because I won't. EVER. I stared at the picture and absentmindedly rubbed my thumb over their picture. We were so happy back before all this shit happened. I would give up everything just to have those moments back.
I was knocked out of my dazed state when a knock came to the door. I quickly slid the picture back into the back pack and zipped it up as the door opened and Kalico came in with her bags.
"Where's Brandy?"
"She's in the bathroom taking a shower." I said as she came over and sat down.
"While Brandy is in there...I need to ask you something important."
"What is it Kali?" I asked as she placed her hands into her lap.
"Do you really believe they won't split us up?"
"Kali, you worry too damn much. I would never let that happen." I said grabbing her hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. A huge smile took over her face and I knew I had given her the reassurance she needed. Brandy came out of the bathroom several minutes later and we took our things down stairs and into the cafeteria where Kalico and Brandy got something to eat and I kept munching on those delicious sunflower seeds. After Brandy and Kalico had finished eating, we went outside to our tree and I pulled out a smoke from my pack. There's another thing these people are going to have to get used to.
We hung out in the sun letting the warmness warm us up until we called in by Mr. Morris's secretary. We walked into the building with her and straight to Mr. Morris's office where 2 men that looked oddly familiar were sitting in front of his desk.
"Matt and Jason, I would like you to meet the three girls you'll be escorting to their foster homes. This is Kalico Holt, Brandy Young, and our trouble maker Violet Newman." Mr. Morris said glaring at me but I rolled my eyes at his act of looking like a tough guy.
"It's very nice to meet you girls. I'm Jason and this is my brother Matt." I still couldn't place them but I'm not really sure if the others did either.
"I know you all have a flight to catch so I won't keep you here. We will miss you girls and I hope you're not sent back here anytime soon."
"You say that everytime Mr. Morris and we keep coming back so don't get your hopes us." I said adjusting my bags on my shoulders. He sighed and rubbed his temples.
"Just don't get into too much trouble."
"No promises." I said winking. We followed Jason and Matt out of the building and out to the parking lot and got into a Escalade. Jason and Matt were both really quiet as we headed for the airport. The only sound was the radio playing softly in the background and occasionally Matt would get a phone call. We got to the airport and went through all that security bullshit before going to board our plane. I hated to fly but I knew this is something I couldn't avoid. I took out my IPod and went through my playlist and chose an Avenged Sevenfold song and turned the volume all the way up. Before I closed my eyes, I saw Jason smirk and it really confused me and I guess it confused Brandy and Kalico as well but I just shrugged my shoulders.
The plane landed and we left the plane with our back packs and went through yet another security fucking check. I mean hell isn't one check fucking enough? I shook my head and they led us out of the building and into yet another SUV. Brandy, Kalico, and I all stared out the window as the scenery flew by us but as I breathed in the air, I got the taste of salt and I knew we were close to the beach. Several cars in front of us slowed down and I looked at the sign. Welcome To Huntington Beach. Hmm so these people live here in Huntington. That's cool and I hope to God they live close to the beach. I mean I don't go swimming or anything because of the scar but I still enjoy being out in the sand.
The SUV pulled up to a gorgeous 3 story house right on the beach and I just couldn't believe this. The place was cool as shit and I knew they could support my so called Seed addiction. The engine turned off and we piled out of the SUV. I looked around the neighborhood and breathed in the salty tasting air once again and loving every minute of it.
"I wonder who these people are?" Kalico asked staring at the house.
"Whoever can afford this house has to be loaded. Well now you won't have worry about that addiction of your Vi."
"Oh fuck off Brandy." I said flipping her the bird and she faked being hurt before laughing right along with Kalico. I shook my head at my crazy sisters and we followed behind Jason and Matt as they went up to the front door and rung the doorbell. I heard the door open and as I continued to be mesmerized by the place when Kali nudged me. I looked ahead of me and in the doorway stood one of the most amazing men ever and I thought I was going to faint. It was M. Fucking Shadows!!
