We were having dinner at our house tonight to tell the guys about our engagement, Abby was going to be cooking and I was going to be just kinda waiting for everyone to get there because she didn’t want me to do anything. ‘Brian!’ I heard being yelled from upstairs so I put my coffee down and went up to Abby’s room and found her looking in her closet in just her bra and thong, I stared of course then cleared my throat and she looked back at me ‘yes?’ ‘I don’t know what to wear for tonight’ she whined and I chuckled a little then walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her from behind ‘well you don’t have to get ready until 5 so why don’t you wear sweats for now and worry about it later?’

‘I guess you're right’ ‘of course I am’ I smiled and she turned her head and looked up at me, I leaned down and kissed her forehead then watched her get dressed and we went back down stairs and had some coffee and breakfast. ‘do we have a table cloth?’ ‘what do you want that for?’ ‘for the table?’ she asked with her eyebrow raised ‘well, why do you want one? It’s just our friends coming over’ ‘I know but I still want everything to be nice’ ‘well we don’t have one’ I said and she pouted a little then stood up and walked into the kitchen. I sighed and got up to follow her but she was already on her way back, with her shoes on and her bag on her shoulder ‘where are you going?’ ‘Wal-Mart, I’ll be back later’ she said then walked out the door. I stood there confused for a minute then went and sat back on the couch.

::Abby’s POV::

I was shopping at Wal-Mart for maybe 20 minutes because I wanted a freaking table cloth and I needed to get something’s for dinner tonight, I was trying to reach something on the top shelve when a tattooed arm came up beside me ‘here you go’ the voice said and I turned to see a tall blonde guy with tattoos and a lip ring ‘thanks’ I smiled and he nodded and smiled back ‘I'm Tony’ he said as he held out his hand, I shook it and smiled ‘I'm Abby’ I said and he nodded then let go of my hand ‘Tony! Oh there you are’ I heard and I turned to see Benji Madden, ‘hey Benj’ I smiled and he smiled back and hugged me ‘hey Abby, how are you?’ ‘I'm ok, just getting something things for dinner tonight with Syn and the guys’

‘awesome, well we have to go but tell Syn to text me’ ‘ok I will’ I smiled and we hugged again ‘nice meeting you’ I said to Tony then waved as I walked away ‘you to’ I heard and I walked over to the cold section to get some cake. When I finished getting everything I walked over to the checkout and waited for the lady in front of me that of course was paying for a million things but it was the shortest line so that’s what I picked ‘ok that’ll be $350’ ‘oh wait I have coupons’ she said then started digging in her bag

‘are you fucking serious, pay the fucking money and get the fuck outta my way’ I said harshly ‘you can’t talk to me like that!’ ‘I think I just did’ ‘you little bitch!’ she yelled and I narrowed my eyes at her ‘is there a problem here?’ I heard from behind me and I turned to see Matt then I smirked and looked back at the lady ‘nope, she was just getting her shit and leaving’ I said as I crossed my arms again, the woman was wide eyed and she nodded then paid and very quickly walked away. So I set the six things I had on the belt and then looked back at Matt ‘thank you’ I smiled and he nodded then leaned down and kissed my cheek ‘what are you doing here anyway?’ I asked and he sighed then wrapped an arm around my waist as I looked at the pay screen

‘Val needed me to get something but they didn’t have what she wanted’ he said and I nodded as I was handed my receipt ‘walk me to my car?’ I asked and he nodded as I grabbed my two bags and we walked out with his arm still around me. ‘what time is dinner?’ he asked as I opened the back door and set my bags down ‘it’s at six but if you wanna get there a little early you can’ I said as I opened up my door and set my purse in the passenger seat then I stood back up and faced Matt

‘ok, I’ll talk to Val about it and if not then I guess I’ll see you at six’ he smiled and I nodded the leaned up on my tippy toes after setting my hands on his shoulders and kissed his cheek. He kissed mine back then helped me into the car and shut the door for me, I rolled down the window after starting it then looked up at him ‘don’t be late’ I giggled and he smiled and nodded then walked away and I pulled out and went home.

‘I'm home!’ I called out as I walked in and into the kitchen, and guess what I see. Michelle and Brian sucking face, ‘Abby’ Brian started as he walked towards me, I backed away a little and just stood there in shock ‘please let me explain’ he said and I nodded ‘she came over here and forced her way in. She kissed me just as you called out that you were home, I swear that’s all that happened’ he said and I looked up at him with tears in my eyes ‘please believe me, you know I’d never hurt you’ he whispered and I nodded a little then looked back at Michelle as she smirked and leaned against the counter. ‘I’ll kill you’ I said darkly and she got wide eyed and started backing up to go around the island as I advanced on her.

I tackled her to the floor then started punching her in the face left and right ‘Abby! Abby! Stop!’ I heard Brian yell as he pulled me off of the bitch ‘get the fuck out!’ I screamed as she scrambled to her feet and ran out the door. ‘shhhh baby, shhhh calm down’ I heard in my ear so I slowly started to calm down and stopped moving around so much ‘let go of me, you're not off the hook’ I said slowly, I felt him nod then he set me back on my feet. I grabbed the bags I dropped and set them on the counter then starting putting everything away, Brian just stood there and didn’t know what to do so I just started making dinner and getting everything set up on the table. I made sure to keep busy so I didn’t have to talk to him, once everything was finished and off I went to take my shower and get ready for the night.

Once in the shower I sighed and put my hands over my face ‘baby?’ ‘go away’ I whispered softly as I got under the water and started washing my hair ‘please listen to me’ ‘no’ I whispered and I heard him sigh. I thought he left but then I felt the cool air and I knew he had gotten in the shower with me ‘Abby, you need to listen to me’ ‘no I don’t Brian! Are you kidding me right now? You're the only person who’s ever loved me and I come home, on the night of our engagement party to see you sucking face with your ex-wife! Do you know what that does to me!?’ I yelled and it sounded worse because we were in the shower with kind of an echo.

‘I didn’t kiss her back Abby, I swear she jumped me as soon as you called out. I don’t love her, I love you and I know that you know that!’ he whispered harshly and gently put his hands on my hips ‘I can’t live without you’ I whispered as I looked down at our feet, he lifted my chin up and kissed my forehead softly ‘you won’t have to Abby, I promise’ he whispered back and I nodded. We kissed and finished our shower then got out and changed into some kinda nice dinner clothes, I just put on a nice black halter dress and some black wedge booties.

Brian put on nice black jeans, a black long sleeve shirt and his regular shoes, I threw on some eyeliner and mascara then we went downstairs and put all the plates together ‘hey were here’ I heard being called from the foyer so I looked back at Brian then went to go get our friends. ‘I hope you guys are hungry because it’s a lot of food’ I said as we all walked into the dining room to sit and eat.

At the table it was Brian at the head of the table then me, Matt and Val, Jimmy and Leana, Johnny and Lacey, and Zack and Gena. ‘alright everyone dig in!’ I said and they wasted no time in digging into the food down the middle of the table, I smiled and we all started eating, talking and laughing. ‘alright, so why’d you bring us here and stuff us full of food’ Zack asked after we had finished dinner,

I looked at Brian and he nodded then looked back at everyone else ‘we um, were engaged’ he said and I heard everyone gasp, when I looked up everyone was looking at everyone else with disappointment on their faces ‘great, just what I needed today, disappointment from the people I love’ I said as I stood up and threw my napkin down on my plate and walked out of the house, slamming the door.
