So Jimmy and I decided to both meet up with Matt and tell him the news. I'm really hoping he won't be a snappy asshole like the last time we talked. We're meeting up with him at this place the guys call their “secret spot.” I guess it's just some bush in the local park nearby. They've been hanging out in the spot for years. Jimmy and I reach the spot and Matt's there waiting for us.

“Hey.”

The way he says it annoys me, but I hold my composure.

“I'm going to be straight forward with you, Matt, and I don't want some dickhead attitude toward any of us when I tell you. Got it?” Jimmy says.
“Fine.”
“Your sister and I are dating. I love her, Matt.”
“But you guys haven't known each other that long.”
“Matt there's such a thing as love as first sight. You have that with Kylie.”

Kylie is his girlfriend.

“Yeah but we didn't start dating until months after we met.”
“It's different for everyone, man. All I really want is your blessing. I want you to be okay with us dating.”

Matt stares silently at the ground for a few minutes before finally speaking up.

“Alright you have my blessing. I can't really control your lives, so if you really want to date then you should do it without my say.”
“Thank you, man. We cool?”
“Yeah we're cool.”

Jimmy smiles and pulls Matt into a tight hug. Matt just laughs and hugs him back. Jimmy's the affectionate type. He'll hug anyone even if it makes the person uncomfortable. That's just how Jimmy is. It's in his nature. Jimmy finally releases Matt and Matt turns to me.

“I'm sorry I was a dick a couple of weeks ago. I shouldn't have said those things.”
“It's alright, Matt. Really.”
“You know I love. I just feel the need to look out for you.”
“I know. And it's okay. If I ever feel like I need you in any situation, I'll call you.”
“Good.”

I smile and give him a hug as well. Jimmy being the affectionate guy he is, joins in on our hug. I giggle quietly and squeeze them both.

“You two are my favorite. My amazing brother and my loving boyfriend.”
“Awww.”

I smile and break the hug.

“So do you guys wanna go and do something? Maybe go get something to eat? I'm hungry and craving some Taco Bell.”
“Oooh yeah good idea. Tacos sound good right about now,” Matt smirks.
“So let's go!”
“Hell yeah. There's a Taco Bell not far from here. Let's walk there.”
“Okay.”

We leave the secret spot and start heading towards Taco Bell. On the way there some girl walks over to us.

“Hey, Jimmy.”

She gives me a dirty look and Jimmy just sighs.

“What do you want, Carlene?”
“Well I saw you walking and wanted to see how you're doing. Who's this?” She gestures to me.
“I'm his girlfriend,” I smile sweetly, but fake. “And Matt's twin sister.”
“Wow, Jimmy. You've surely downgraded.”
“She's a million times better of a person than you are,” Jimmy spats back at her.
“And how's that?” She snaps, putting her hands on her hips like any annoying bitch would.
“She'd never cheat on me. And she's a lot more beautiful than you.”
“Oh please. I model.”
“Just because you model, doesn't mean you're beautiful. An ugly personality makes you an ugly person. Now leave me the fuck alone.”

Jimmy gives her a glare before putting his arm around me and walking away. Matt flips her off and follows us.

“I'm assuming that's your ex,” I roll my eyes.
“Yes. The dirty bitch. How dare she speak of you like that.”
“It's alright. Just looking at her, I know I'm better. The snob.”
“Of course you're better. And you could easily get a modeling job. You're better than her.”
“Awww thanks Jim,” I giggle.
“Anytime.”

He gives my lips a quick peck before smiling.

“But no really. You are truly better and more beautiful than she'll ever be. You should go look for a modeling job.”
“Hey maybe I should get one at her modeling agency. Maybe they'll fire her after I step foot through the door.”

Jimmy chuckles and kisses my head.

“I'd love to see that.”
“Me too.”

I giggle and lean my head against his arm. He really truly is the greatest guy I've ever met. He treats me like no one has ever treated me and I'm so very thankful that I met him.
