Love Thy Vengeance

So it’s been about seven and a half months and were all doing great. We stayed home for a month then we began our 6 month tour but it was warped tour and it was actually nice this year because it wasn’t to hot and we got to stay in hotels. We stayed in one place for the first 3 months then we moved to another venue for the last 3 months so we really lucked out this time which was great. Zack and I were doing awesome, we couldn’t be any happier which I was thankful for because being on tour can really stress people out.

Right now we had just finished our last song but Matt said that Zack wanted to make an announcement so I was really confused ‘ok, as you all know my beautiful girlfriend is our drummer so if you could come here please my love I would appreciate it’ Zack said as he set his guitar down then looked back at me, I raised an eyebrow at him but stood up and walked over to him anyway. I was in my shorts and crop top because I was dying back there ‘are you high?’ I asked and he smiled at me ‘no I'm not high’ he said into the mic and everyone laughed.

I just smiled as he walked over to me and kissed me, I kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck ‘you know I love you very much, you're what kept this band together after Jimmy passed. My friends love you and you love them and I wouldn’t change anything that’s happened between the five of us’ he said and I bit my lip a little as I looked up at him ‘I just kinda have a question for you’ he said and I nodded and bit my lip harder as he got down on his knee in front of me.

‘Zacky’ I whispered as I looked down at him, he was smiling big and holding out a box to me ‘will you marry me?’ he asked then opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring, my hand went over my mouth as I nodded ‘I'm sorry what, we can’t hear you’ Brian said into his mic, I laughed ‘Yes! Yes I’ll marry you’ I laughed and threw my arms around him, he picked me up and spun me around then set me down and put the ring on my finger slowly as he kissed me. I kissed back and bit his lip a little to tease him, he growled a little and tightened his arms around me.

‘let’s hear it for the lovely couple!’ Matt yelled and the crowd went crazy. I smiled big then took the mic from Zack ‘well, I have an announcement also’ I said and Zack raised an eyebrow at me ‘I'm two weeks pregnant’ I said happily and Zack looked at me wide eyed ‘really?’ he whispered and I nodded as I bit my lip a little, he picked me up and spun me around again. I giggled and kissed him as he set me back down, he got on his knees and kissed my tummy.

The crowd awwwed and so did the guys ‘ok guys, we really have to go, thank you and have a good night!’ Matt yelled and we all walked off stage and outside to sign things then we went to the bus ‘baby, are you really pregnant?’ Zack asked once we were all sitting down, I nodded ‘are you mad?’ ‘baby, why would I be mad?’ he whispered as he laid his hand on my tummy, I shrugged and set my hand on his ‘I just, I was scared to tell you’ ‘you don’t ever have to be scared to tell me anything. You can tell all of us anything’ he said and I nodded and kissed him again,

he kissed back and then we looked at the guys. ‘I can’t believe were gonna be uncles! Again!’ Johnny said excitedly then looked at Matt, he nodded and smiled at us ‘now Owen will have someone to play with’ ‘that would be great’ ‘does anyone else know?’ Matt asked and I nodded ‘just the girls, I called Val first’ I said and they nodded. I yawned big and stretched a little ‘bed time for you’ Zack laughed and I nodded, I hugged the guys, kissed Zack and went back to my bunk. Zack started to follow but I stopped him ‘I know you wanna hang with them and you can. I love you, good night’ I smiled and just barely kissed him to tease him, he nodded and pulled me close then kissed back harder.

When I woke up the next morning Zack’s arm was around my waist and I was tight against him, I cuddled back into him more and pulled the blankey closer to us ‘morning baby’ he whispered against my neck ‘morning, I'm going back to bed’ I giggled and I felt him nodded so I turned around in his arms and kissed him, he kissed back then looked into my eyes ‘I can’t believe what happened last night’ he whispered, I nodded and played with the hair on his face a little

‘I love you’ I whispered as I cuddled into his chest and closed my eyes ‘I love you to baby’ he whispered back and kissed my forehead. I took a deep breath and sighed softly as I fell back asleep thinking of my upcoming life with Zack and our baby and our friends. When I woke up again Zack wasn’t next to me but I did hear him and the guys talking in the back of the bus so I got up and walked back there and cuddled up between Zack and Johnny ‘morning again’ Zack laughed as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders

‘morning’ I whispered and laid my head on his chest ‘you mean almost noon’ Matt said and I raised an eyebrow at him ‘why didn’t you guys wake me up?’ ‘because you're pregnant and you were tired’ he said again and I shrugged ‘you still should have woken me up’ ‘well we didn’t have anything going on till the show tonight so we just let you sleep’ ‘alright alright, just, don’t treat me like I'm gonna break ok?’ ‘ok’ Matt said and I nodded then looked up at Zack ‘you don’t treat me like that either ok?’ ‘I’ll try not to baby’ he said and I nodded then kissed him gently and stood up ‘any food?’ ‘I think so’ Brian said and walked out to the front with me to look also

‘so are you really pregnant?’ he whispered and I looked up at him with a raised eyebrow ‘yeah, why?’ ‘I don’t know, don’t you think this is happening really fast?’ ‘not really, it’s been like over a year since we’ve been together’ I said and he nodded but still looked a little off so I turned to him and grabbed his hand ‘Bri, please don’t worry. I'm never gonna hurt Zack, I love him way to much to do that’ I said softly and he nodded again. I pouted and he rolled his eyes ‘ok ok, I won’t worry’ he said and I smiled then hugged him tight, he hugged back and we continued to look for food.

‘I still don’t think you should go out tonight’ Zack said for the hundredth time and I rolled my eyes for the hundredth time also ‘Zack, I'm gonna be sitting down. I don’t move around and I don’t carry a heavy instrument. It would be different if I was a guitar player but I'm not. Please drop it’ I said then walked away. I walked over to the stage and stood behind it as I waited for my cue to go out ‘you know-‘ I heard from behind me and I turned to see Johnny

‘what?’ ‘he’s just trying to protect you’ ‘from what? Sitting?’ ‘he doesn’t want you hurt’ ‘I didn’t realize people could get hurt by sitting down’ I said then walked out on stage and over to my drum set. I got a good amount of cheers but I was still really hated, it was whatever though. The guys came out shortly after me and got a standing ovation, Matt talked for a bit then we started with Bat Country. We finished the third song and Matt started talking again like always ‘is everyone having a good time tonight?’ he yelled and got cheers back

‘that’s great, I know someone who’s not having a good time tonight’ he said and I rolled my eyes because I knew he was talking about Zack and I ‘you see, someone was trying to get someone else to not play tonight because they don’t want that someone getting hurt’ Matt said again then looked back at me, I raised an eyebrow then leaned into my mic ‘maybe if that someone would stop worrying about that someone else they wouldn’t be missing notes’ I said sweetly and Zack’s mouth dropped as he walked over to his mic ‘well maybe that someone wouldn’t keep missing notes if someone else would play the beat correctly!’ ‘maybe that someone should take back their fucking ring if they wanna act like a mother fucking asshole!’ I yelled as I stood up and walked away ‘Lex! You have to finish the set!’ Matt yelled but I just flicked him off and kept walking.

‘Lex! Lex please?’ they yelled and I turned to see Zack running up to me, I sighed as I stopped and waited for him ‘I'm sorry ok, I love you and I just want what’s best for us and the baby, please’ he whispered as he grabbed my hands and looked down into my eyes. ‘I love you to but I don’t like being treated like I'm breakable. I'm not, everything is fine’ I whispered back and he nodded then leaned down to kiss me ‘please forgive me?’ he whispered with his eyebrow raised a little, I sighed and smiled ‘I suppose’ I giggled and he picked me up and spun me around then we ran back to the stage. ‘ok let’s finish this’ Zack yelled into his mic with a smile on his face, everyone cheered and we finished the rest of the concert.

‘need food now’ I grumbled when I woke up the next morning, everyone was already awake and talking to each other, they looked over at me and laughed a little and I just glared at them ‘you try carrying another life and not being hungry’ I whined and pouted. Zack came up to me and hugged me tight, I hugged back and kissed his neck a little ‘what do you wanna eat?’ ‘hmm pop tarts!’ I giggled and he nodded and pulled them off the top shelve for me, they were chocolate s’mores pop tarts ‘mmm my favorite!’ I said happily as I slid into the little kitchen table we had, Zack slid in next to me after retrieving his coffee from the counter.

‘I love you’ he whispered in my ear and I smiled over at him as I was still chewing, he laughed at me and kissed my temple then wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I leaned against him when while I was eating and we were just listening to the conversation going on around us ‘so where are we going next?’ I asked as I finished off my food and took a sip of Zack’s coffee ‘Colorado then we get to go home’ Brian answer and I nodded ‘good because I need to make a doctor’s appointment’ ‘yeah how far along are you again?’ ‘three weeks today’ I said and Brian nodded then everyone went back to talking, I looked over at Zack and he was already looking at me ‘what?’ ‘can we talk?’ ‘yeah’ I nodded and we got up and walked into the back of the bus and pulled the curtain, I sat on the couch and he sat next to me

‘I love you’ I whispered, he smiled and kissed me ‘I love you to baby’ he whispered back then pulled me into him ‘what do you wanna talk about?’ ‘I just wanna make sure you're ready for this baby. I mean, you’re only almost 20’ he said and I nodded ‘I know I am baby, but I want this baby, I already love it’ I said as I looked up at him, he nodded and kissed me again ‘I already love it to. I just wanna make sure you're happy because I know I am’ he smiled and I smiled back and kissed him again.
