Chapter 14 ~Jayla's P.O.V~ "Wake up pet!" I heard a voice in my ear. I opened my eyes, quickly shutting them. The light was way too bright. Someone slapped me. I opened my eyes in shock. I was laying on a desk with Matt Shadows staring down at me. Great another dream. As if he could read my thoughts Syn came up. "Your not dreaming this time baby." He kissed my forehead. Matt explained what had happened over the past few days. "Where's Lucky?" I asked when he finished. "Don't speak slut!" He slapped my across my face. "Matt take it easy. She just want to know where her beautiful german shepherd is." Matt looked at him as if he was crazy. "Babe your dog is back at your house. I'll have Jimmy go and get him." Matt still looked at Syn. "Thank you." I almost whispered. Matt looked at me, warning me not to speak again through his eyes. Matt continued to explain the rules. "Where's Kiersten?" I asked silently. Matt went to hit me for interrupting him. Syn grabbed his arm. "Sweetheart, we had to bring her along. She's asleep, with Jimmy." They had explained that Jimmy faked his death, which made me very happy. I knew Kiersten would flip when she woke up. Then I heard a scream."JIMMY SULLIVAN?!" "She's awake." I said laughing. Syn laughed. Matt sorta let out a chuckle. I looked at him in surprise. "I didn't know you knew how to laugh." I teased. He glared at me. "Take her Syn. Keep yourself and her away from the other girl, and Zack." Syn nodded and took me into the living room. Johnny was in there. "Oh look, it's the bitch with the dog. Not so tough without your dog are you, slut?! think I'll go kill him now, since you want be needing him." I looked at Syn, my eyes were starting to fill with tears. "Johnny, I have bad news buddy." Syn chuckled. "Oh no, your not bringing that mutt here?!" Syn nodded his head. Johnny walked off cussing. Syn turned his back to me, watching Johnny stalk off. That was when I ran. I ran for the door as fast as I could. I swung it open and ran out. I probably have just gotten myself killed, but hey, I'm only human, fear made me do it. I found that the property was guarded. Gates, electric fences, guards, and cameras. I found a place to hide. Surely they wouldn't find me here. I opened the door to find a sleeping girl. She had dark skin, beautiful hair, and looked very tired. At first I thought she was dead. I shook her shoulder to wake her up. Completely forgetting about hiding. She opened her eyes slowly, when she was fully awake she jumped a little. ~Amber's P.O.V~ I don't know how long I slept. I don't know what day it is. I don't know if Master Christ wants me any longer. And most importantly, I don't know who this girl is. "Hello, I'm Jayla." Well, now I know her name. She was scared, but curious. "Amber." Did someone send her for me? I will not go back to Master Gates. I need to escape. Suddenly I heard Master Gates yelling for the girl. "You led him to me!" I accused. "I'm sorry! I was just trying to hide!" She was almost crying. Believable. I knew hiding here would be useless now. Master Gates was coming towards the sound of our voices. "Run, go! We can make it to the fence and worry about the rest when we get there." She nodded. We both took off in a run. "Stop!" I heard Master Gates' voice behind us. He made no effort to run to us. He knew we wouldn't make it, I was still determined. "What now?" Jayla asked, when we reached the fence. "We have two options. We can risk the shock, or we can go back to Master Gates." She looked shocked when I called him Master. I couldn't help it. That man made me shake with fear. He was twisted and evil and would do anything to hurt anyone, sometimes even the other Masters of the house, his own brothers. Not as bad as others, however. Master Shadows was always on him about messing with Master Christ. "Risk it." Jayla answered after thinking it over. Master Gates was now within a few yards. I nodded. I climbed the fence to the top. Now to get past this wire. Jayla was behind me. "Amber hurry!" I decided to lift the wire up. I had a few moments before the shock came, maybe I could slip underneath before I got shocked. I grabbed the wire and quickly started to slide under. The shock came quicker than expected. I fell, colliding with Jayla. Then I blacked out. ~Jayla's P.O.V~ "Amber hurry!" I was scared Syn, or 'Master Gates,' would get us. I watched as Amber grabbed the wire quickly slidding under it. Then I watched her instantly freeze and slide off the fence towards me. Our bodies collided, knocking us both to the ground. I had somehow managed to hold my head up. Amber, however, had not. She had hit her head and blacked out. "Amber!" I yelled shaking her shoulder. I looked back towards Syn to see a smirk plastered on his face. He had stopped walking towards us. Suddenly, I felt a hand take my arm roughly. I looked up immediately recognizing it as one of the Berry twins. He threw me away from Amber and picked her up. I watched as he carried her away. "Come to me." Syn commanded. I had no other choice. I wasn't about to touch that fence. I walked over to him slowly. "Why did you run?" He looked at me sternly. I couldn't answer, so instead I shrugged. He produced a collar from his pocket. Not just any collar, a shock collar. I stood still as he put it around my neck. I was too afraid to move. "I like you. I really do, but running away results in you wearing the collar. Sorry. You may only run when I say you can. It's the rules." I was shaking with fear. "S-sorry Syn." I felt a small jolt at my neck. It made me yelp. "You will adress me as Master Shadows told you." I was in tears. I felt like a slave! "Yes, Master Gates." I looked at the ground, remembering eye contact was forbidden, unless your master allowed it. "I think your my favorite, babe. You'll soon learn. I'm not like the rest." This made me scared. If the others were worse than this I needed a way out now. "Watch out for Zacky. We call him Vengeance for a reason. He will play as if he is smitten with you. Then he will own you. He will slit your throat and fuck the wound." I smiled as he hinted towards Slipknot's song. Inside I was very much in fear of Zacky. He had acted as if he cared more. Was it trully all an act?
