**Jimmy's POV**

Wow, I can't believe Brian at the party...that boy can't keep his dick in his pants for nothing. Seriously, I have no idea why Michelle stuck around this long. We all know that she caught Brian multiple times hooking up behind her back and this was mild compared to before. I think that Matt and Val announcing their engagement was the breaking point for her....now, she has to watch her twin sister live a happy life she can only dream about.

I walk into my house and immediately fall back onto the sofa and groan. Ugh, I drank too much! Suddenly there is a thunderous knock at my front door and to be honest it scared the shit out of me. I curse loudly and stumble to my feet, "Fuck, I'm coming...no need to break it down!"

I yank the door open and see Matt standing on my doorstep with tears in his eyes. If you know Matt you know that he doesn't cry unless it's serious...oh God it's serious...who died?

"Hey man, are you alright?" I say and step aside to let him enter.

A fucking tear falls down his cheek and I start to panic a little, he looks up at me with bloodshot hazel eyes and just sobs, "I'm a dead man." If he wasn't so upset I would make a joke about getting a shovel to help him hide the evidence but I don't think he'll appreciate humor at a time like this.


Wait, I'm so confused....everything was fine at the party except for Michelle and Brian's fight so I have no idea what happened.

"I'm confused Matt...I have no idea what happened so why don't you fill me in? Why are you a dead man?" I ask in a worried tone.

"....I fucked Michelle..." I hear his whisper out under his breath and I can't believe what I just heard.

"You did what?!?" I scream at him, "Honesty man, how could you be so stupid?!"

"Jimmy that's not the worse part...I accidentally pocket dialed Val's phone while it happened so I think she heard the whole thing", he hesitates, "...oh, and Michelle told me that she's in love with me. Seriously, if things weren't complicated enough!"

I'm so fucking mad and disappointed in him right now so I draw back and punch him right across the jaw. The look of shock on his face is one I will never forget.

"What the fuck, Jimbo?!" He screams while rubbing his already bruising jaw, "I came here for help and you punch me in the fucking face?!"

"No Matt, you came hear because you're afraid to go home and you have nowhere else to go," I yell back, " Don't you get it man? You just broke both of those girls hearts because you wanted to be a selfish asshole!"

"I was just trying to make Michelle feel better..." He starts and I land another blow right to his gut and he doubles over in pain.

"That's your justification?! Oh well excuse me, I didn't know you did it just to comfort her...that changes everything! I'm sure Val won't be upset at all!" I seethe as the sarcasm drips from my words. "You're unbelievable man! You had to know it was wrong...well beyond wrong... but I'm trying not to rub salt in your wounds."

Matt slowly straightens back up and says, "You're right Jimmy, I knew it was wrong but I did it anyhow. Now, I hurt Val in a way I swore I would never and as for Michelle I tore her heart out when I said I couldn't be that guy for her....I am such an asshole and I don't deserve either one."

"You know I love you man, you are my best friend, but if you came here for sympathy you are going to be leaving disappointed." I reply giving him a stern look. "You need to man up and admit to Val what you did, even if from the sounds of it she may already know...you owe her that. As for Michelle, you need to decide if there is anything there you are willing to fight for. She's in love with you man, and if you have even the slightest feeling that it might be mutual you need to let her know....she deserves that much.

"I'm sorry I fucked this all up.." he cries out, "I have to try and fix this...if there is such a thing as fixing THIS."

Matt walks back to his SUV and I see him pull out and head in the direction of Val's house.

**Matt's POV**

Jimmy is right, I am just trying to delay the inevitable. I owe Val an explanation for my actions, even though deep down I know she is never going to speak to me after this. Then, I have this issue with my feelings for Michelle....sure I love her but am I in love with her? Jeez, both these women deserve better than me...I'm a total asshole! How could I be this stupid?

I try to call Val's phone again but I keep getting the same message.

'The subscriber you are trying to reach is unavailable, please try your call again later.'

As I round the corner to Val's street I immediately see Brian's car parked in the driveway. This is just fucking great...now I get to have my ass chewed out and kicked all at the same time! I park on the street and turn off the ignition. I make my way up the walkway towards her front door but stop when I hear faint moans coming from her kitchen window. I walk over to the window and stare into the glass and the color drains from my face. Brian has Val bent over the dining room table and is thrusting into her with everything he's got. WHAT THE FUCK?!?

I think I'm going to be sick....
