Welcome To The Family

**Matt's POV**

I feel beyond relieved that Brian isn't trying to get back together with Michelle and throughout the jam session we actually start to act like the best friends we used to be.

We pack up our gear but all decide to hang out and chill for a while. It's been weeks since we have been civil enough towards each other to stay in the same room for more than a few minutes and damn it...I missed them.

We are all cracking up laughing as we recap the stories of our crazy antics from our youth and I'm hopeful that everything is going to work out in the end regardless of our recent actions. Jimmy and Brian are knocking back shots as fast as they can against the drinking 'dream team' of Zacky and Johnny. I can't help but laugh because I know Gnome and Zee don't stand a chance in hell against those two.

Johnny is the first to drop out, like always, and Zach is begging me to take his place. I have the shot glass in my hand and press it to my lips when suddenly my cell goes off and I start to lower the glass to answer it. Zacky calls me a pussy and grabs my wrist and pours the shot down my throat. I wasn't quite expecting it so the liquor burns down my throat and sends me into an uncontrollable coughing fit which of course everyone finds totally hysterical. I pull my phone out of my pocket and see that I missed a call from Michelle. Fucking not cool Zacky!

I quickly hit slide the redial button and attempt to stop my still out of control coughing fit but to no avail.

"Matt?" I hear Michelle sob out and immediately think she's upset with me for just leaving the roses I bought for her hanging on the door. I frantically wave my arms and attempt to speak but I'm literally choking on my words. Brian eventually takes pity on me and reaches over and grabs the phone out of my hand. He attempts to speak but must get cut off by Michelle continuing to talk on the other end of the line. I watch as the color drains from his face and my heart begins beating rapidly in my chest.

Dear God....I hope she didn't just break up with me.

**Brian's POV**

I seriously can't stop laughing at Matt's uncontrollable coughing because of Zacky but eventually decide to take pity on him. I reach over and grab the phone from his hand and see that it's Michelle that's calling. I'm about to tell her that we cleared up the misunderstanding from the hospital but she begins speaking again, "Matt, did you know that Val is pregnant?!" she sobs and suddenly I feel extremely nauseous. Oh shit...if I knew she was pregnant I would have never gave her booze to help with her sorrows the night of the party and probably would have never agreed to sleep with her for payback. Now, it's going to be 100 times harder for Matt to forgive me for screwing around with her once he knows she pregnant with his child. "Matt?! Answer me please!" she cries and I struggle to find my voice.

"Um...no, it's Brian. Matt can't stop coughing because Zacky poured a shot down his windpipe." I reply and hear her take a ragged breath.

"Did you know?" she asks sadly and I'm confused on why she thinks I would have been notified before Matt or herself for that fact.

"No, why would I?" I ask in an overly confused tone and she scoffs.

"Um, maybe because it could be your fucking baby too, Genius!" she shouts and I feel like I've been sucker-punched in the gut. That's impossible....I never came inside...holy fuck!! I can't believe I almost forgot about our early morning sex lesson right before I got the voicemail about the crash. I was honestly too wrapped up in Val's mind blowing actions to...um....wrap it up.

"I.....I......I'm going to" I stutter out before I empty the contents of my stomach...which was mostly booze...across Jimmy's lap who is sitting next to me and accidentally drop Matt's phone into the mess.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me?!" Jimmy shouts and shoves my head away from him. Matt glares at me because I think I just ruined his phone but the whole room is spinning and I close my eyes in an attempt to make it stop.

Matt is finally able to speak a few words in between coughs and roughly grabs a hold of my shoulders and shakes my eyes back open. "What the" *cough* "fuck Bri!" *cough* "What did" *cough* "Chelle say?!" *cough*. I really don't want to be the one who has the 'privilege' to reveal that information to the rest of the room so I slide my phone over to him and tell him to call Val. He gives me a weird look like, why in the world am I telling him to call Val instead of explaining to him what Michelle said, but I can't speak.

I'm in complete and total shock...I could be someone's dad!
