Chapter 10: Karma Is A Motherfucking Bitch, And She Just Taught You A Lesson!
This chapter is dedicated to my reader Sullivan-Synyster Harlot 6661 and to the late great Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan.
**Jimmy's POV**
I am now completely sober after Matt's shocking surprise visit. Fuck, if I wasn't pissed at him for the bombshell he decided to drop before, I am now because he killed my buzz.
I ponder to myself, "Should I give him a call to see how things went? Esh, what if I call and they are in the middle of something....murder? make up sex?" I decide to just shoot him a text telling him to call me when he can and start a game of COD while I wait.
Someone who is calling themselves Sullivan-Synyster Harlot 6661 is kicking my ass and I chuckle....at least I'm getting the shit kicked out of me by a fan.
Suddenly my phone goes off and it's a text from Matt....
'The engagement is off...I'll explain more later. -M.'
Holy shit! I can't believe it...well I guess I can under the circumstances but seriously, he's not going to elaborate more...I'm definitely am not letting this go.
'What the fuck man, what happened? -Jimmy'
'Can we come over, I'll try and explain but to be honest...I am in shock -M.'
We? I don't really want to play referee in the knock down drag out fight between him and Val but he's my best friend and if he needs a bodyguard against a murderously mad Val I guess I'm his man.
'Sure man, come on over -Jimmy'
A few minutes later there is a knock on my door and I already know it's Matt...it sounds defeated. I open the door and I'm shocked..."Michelle, what are you doing here?" I ask.
She half-heartily laughs and says, "Funny, I keep getting asked that question tonight."
I could have sworn that Matt left my house before without Michelle stuffed somewhere in his SUV, but I could be mistaken....tonight seems chock full of them already.
"So, I'm assuming you guys came clean to Val?" I ask, "How did that go?"
"You're not going to believe what I tell you, Jimbo..." Matt says sadly and slowly recounts the details of what happened since I last saw him.
WHAT IN THE EVER-LOVING SHIT IS GOING ON?!
"Brian and Val?! Are you fucking shitting me?" I shout.
"Told you that you wouldn't believe me, but it's true." he replies in a heartbroken tone. "They honestly don't think that they are even slightly in the wrong because they said it was just payback" he seethes.
"Oh man, I'm sorry you guys...you kind of had it coming though." I pause and look at their shocked faces, "Karma is a motherfucking bitch, and she just taught you a lesson!"
"Wow, thanks for that Jimmy...that's just what we needed to hear!" Matt growls while grabbing Michelle and they both storm outside.
"..but it's true..." I say back and slam the door as they climb into Matt's SUV and speed off down the street.
This is one seriously messed up night!!

Kind of a filler chapter but I didn't want Jimmy left in the dark after Matt's visit.
