Chapter One
Erin’s P.O.V
The car is packed… I’ve got my best friends in the world and today is the day that we are hitting the road to travel across the country… we don’t know exactly where we are going or what we are going to do but we are sure that we just want to get away from the lives we have here. Being 25 I found myself stuck in a job that I found to be going nowhere… I loved it but I hated the repetition… My best friends Izzy and Hannah longed for more in their lives so we said screw it and we sold our places and decided to move on to the open road.
“I think that we should all take a shot to remember this moment! The day we said fuck you to the standards and HELL YEAH to the living life of rebels!” Izzy said holding tequila in one hand and squeezing her arm around Hannah on the other side. Izzy was totally crazy… and if I could describe her in one word… it would be.. well Izzy.
“TO BEING REBELLIOUS!!” Hannah shouted happily, her Scottish accent always got me and Izzy super excited and happy, Hannah was always a little quieter than us and she loved researching and being more of the literal person that Iz and I were.
“This is where most people would say YOLO but fuuuuck that ladies… TO US BEING REBELLIOUS LITTLE FREAKS FOREVER!” I said and took down a large swig of the bottle. For twenty some fucking years we felt like we were doing something with ourselves… and now we realize there is so much more we were made for. We took one final look at the house and I wrapped my hand around my keys before turning around and walking over to my Challenger.
“Is everyone ready?” I asked as they got in and adjusted themselves with the food they picked up earlier.
“READY!” They said in sync despite the mouth full of fries that they had. I pulled out onto the road and just drove, we had some Metallica blaring as I zoomed out of the suburbs past the city limits and out to the open road…
Brian’s P.O.V
Another night of touring, another night of the screaming fans that we loved, they pumped us up and kept us going despite the fact that Matt was a wreck and it seemed as if every night something bad always happened behind the lines.
“Matt’s drinking again” Johnny said and Zack and I looked over at him and then to Matt who
took down like three shots in a row.
“Dude say something to him… we haven’t even done the show yet” Zack stated as he was looking through some VU stuff with Meaghan. I walked over to Matt and the moment that he saw me he threw his hands down onto the table and then turned his face to listen to me.
“Seriously slow down, everyone is out there waiting for us to go on and you are already a fucking mess, I get it.. you miss Val but take a breath and realize that we have to get through this part of the night before we can get back to the other stuff, we have to keep our lives the same till we get a break through” I stated and he just growled pushing his hair back. Val had been taken who knows how long ago.. and when Matt realized that she was taken to the pit… and tortured.. well he lost it.
“We have to find something… some lowlife fucking demon has to fucking know how the fuck I can get her back man!” Matt shouted and all the girls along with the guys looked over and just watched us carefully. They knew that Matt was a ticking time bomb but he always ends up remembering that Val wants him to push on and not lose his cool.
“We go over this almost every single night Matt… we WILL FIND SOMETHING! You will get her back, let’s get this show done and give people joy and happiness so we can find her” I said and he hugged me tightly before everyone else gathered around. He spent a lot of time with Michelle and I due to the fact that Michelle was just as mad… she wanted her sister back and would do anything for her. The night went on and we made our way back to the tour bus heading away from New York and out into the open… searching for the person who took Val away.
Dean’s P.O.V
“Ya know for us having that so called profound bond you sure don’t communicate with me all that well” I said to Castiel who was covered in ectoplasm.
“I told you that I had it Dean… I just didn’t estimate that it would eat me. Excuse me now… I have to bathe” Castiel said and I just sat there finishing my beer at the table going over the names of someone who may know about Sam. Yeah most demons or monsters led back to Crowley… but I swore that I wouldn’t work with him… I wouldn’t come close to him.
“Son of a bitch… can I just have a break” I said as my phone started ringing.
“Yeah” I said taking a drink of the Johnny Walker I just opened.
“It’s Charles from Omaha… I got something you may wanna come take a look at Dean… Sam’s name came out of someone and so maybe it’s a good time to haul ass out here” Charles said and I instantly thanked him and grabbed my stuff… Six fucking months since Sam disappeared to hell and no one and I mean no one had information for me…
“CAS WE ARE LEAVING!!!” I yelled and it took him a good few minutes but finally he came
out and was confused by the fact that I was shoving stuff in my bag.
“Where are we going?” Castiel asked and I just took a deep breath.
“Sam’s name has been popping up in Omaha… I figured on the way there we can stop and see if any hunters have word on him…” I said and we left… I was hopefully gonna get some answers.. I would stop at nothing to get Sam back.. to stop whatever is doing this to him.. I knew it was gonna be hard… but hell that was every day for us.
