“You guys haven't talk to us since that video came out, are you okay now?” Brian Sr said, cutting his meat.

I put my glass of water down onto the table, I was so surprised about what he was saying that my water didn't go down properly. I placed my hand onto my mouth and started coughing. Everyone was looking at me. Brian placed his hand onto my back and gave a few tap. I looked at him. I almost forgot that they saw it. I looked around me again and saw Suzy and Brian Sr waiting for an answer. I looked at Brian again, he was chewing some food, looking down on his plate. I knew on that moment that I had to answer cause he wouldn't.

“We're alright.” I said, looking down onto my plate.

An awkward silence installed itself into the place. I heard Suzy sighed hard and putting her utensils down onto her plate. She placed a hand onto my arm, making look at her.

“Could we really know what happened?” She asked.

This was so awkward, I really didn't know what to answer.

“You know what happened, you saw the video.” Brian said, quietly next to me, still looking down his plate and chewing his food. His neck and cheeks were getting red.

“Yeah we did but we are there for you. We wish we could know more about it.. We just want to help you.” She said still holding my arm, but she was now looking at Brian. He put his fork down and sighed, he swallowed thickly his food and look at me again.

“There is nothing to say about it! It's done now! We're all fine, she told you about it.” He said, putting his plate away, he was getting annoyed.

Brian Sr. stayed quiet at the end of the table, watching at the scene. Suzy removed her hand from my arms and put her hands up in the air. She was totally offended.

“That's alright! I get it. I just wanted to help!”

“But she just told you! We're alright!” Brian yelled at her. I put my hands around myself, I hated when there were arguments between them.

“Then why do you get so angry like this! We just want to know, that's all!” She yelled back at him.

I looked over at Brian Sr. He looked pretty uncomfortable too but he didn't want to get into the argument. Brian was about to stand up that his father placed a hand onto his shoulder and obligated him to stay.

“It is just not in your fucking business!” Brian yelled at her again.

“Brian.” His dad said, trying to calm him.

I looked at Suzy, her eyes were filled with tears. I hated all of this. They wanted to know the truth then they would know the truth soon or later.

I stood up from my chair and started talking. All eyes were onto me, except Brian who was looking down the table. He knew I was about to tell them the truth.

“Long story short. I almost got rape because I love Brian.” I ran away, feeling that I was about to cry. I wanted to say more, but this is what came out. I climbed the stairs and ran into my room. I closed the door behind me and started sobbing. I didn't want them to know it like this, but it just went out by itself. I ran to the bathroom who was connected to my room and locked myself in. I knew I couldn't lock myself in my room but I could in the bathroom, so I did. I didn't want to see or talk to any one on the moment. I saw onto the edge of the bath and listened of what was going on downstairs. I couldn't hear a sound anymore. They weren't arguing anymore. I took a deep breath and heard knock onto my door. I didn't answer.

“Let me in please.” I heard Brian from the other side of the door, saying softly. He seemed to have calmed down.

“Go away Brian.” I sighed and dried my wet cheeks with my shirt.

“I'm sorry about the fight..” I heard him sigh from the other side of the door. “I just didn't want to talk about it with them. That's all.”

I stood up and unlocked the door. I opened it softly. A sorry Brian was standing in front of me. He came closer and kissed my forehead. I wrapped my arms around his body and hugged him tight.

“Let's not care anymore, it's just you and me..” Brian whispered.
