It had been a couple weeks and Becca's birthday was coming up. The guys had been planning a nice surprise party for her. They consulted with Tippi about the entire set up and what theme it should be because she knew Becca more than anyone. They decided on a Doctor Who themed party and they even had a few surprises up their sleeves for her. Becca was a huge Doctor Who fan. She watched all the recent seasons and had been working on watching the classics. She had posters, merch, even her own sonic screwdrivers.
Tomorrow was the big day, so they were getting some last minute preparations done. Matt offered to have the party at his house because it was big enough for a lot of people and his backyard was a decent size. He had an in-ground pool, a horseshoe pit for his buddies, and a volleyball court for his female friends. It was the perfect party location.

“Tip have you contacted the guy about the cake?” Matt asked, peering his head into the kitchen where Tippi was setting up some decorations.
“Yes. He said it should be ready by tomorrow morning,” she smiled at him.
“Awesome. Are they going to have it delivered here?”
“Yes. They'll have a few guys bring it around 9 in the morning and then you can have them put it in the kitchen.”
“Great. I hope Becca will appreciate this surprise party.”
“Are you kidding? She's going to love it.”
“Good. That's all I want,” he chuckled.
“Plus, with the big surprises you managed, this will be a day she'll never forget.”
“Good. So you're gonna pick her up around noon, take her shopping, then tell her you're coming here for a small get together with us guys?”
“That's right. She won't have a clue.”
“Great. I'm gonna go help Bri finish setting up the backyard.”
“Don't get too distracted,” Tippi winked.
“Oh shut up.”

Matt chuckled and made his way outside where Brian was hanging up some blue streamers.

“Hey, babe.”
“Hey, Mattie.”

Brian stepped off the chair and went to hug Matt.

“I missed you.”
“I was only gone for like two minutes,” he chuckled.
“So?”
“Aww babe.”

Matt smiled and gave Brian a sweet kiss.

“I missed you too.”
“Good. Help me set up?”
“That's why I came out here,” he chuckled.
“Great. You can go lift that heavy ass life sized Dalek and stick it by the pool.”
“Yes sir,” Matt grinned.

Brian giggled quietly and got back on the chair to hang the streamers. Matt had taken Brian out on a few dates and finally asked him to be his boyfriend. So much stress was lifted from Brian's shoulders and he'd been happy ever since.

“This thing is fucking huge,” Matt laughed, lifting it up.
“I know, which is why you're in charge of moving it.”
“Good thing for these muscles.”
“Exactly.”

Matt chuckled and carried the Dalek by the pool and set it down by the deep end of the pool.

“What else can I do, babe?” Matt asked, walking back over to Brian.
“Well I'm pretty much done hanging the decorations out here. We can see if anyone inside needs any help.”
“Alright. Sounds good.”

Brian smiled and took Matt's hand in his before heading back inside.

“How's everyone doing in here?” Matt smiled.
“Good! I finished setting up the kitchen, so now I'm helping Zacky and Johnny decorate the living room.”
“Need any help?” Brian asked.
“Yeah help would be nice. We've got plenty more decorations to set up.”
“How's Arin doing in the home theater?”
“I believe he's assembling the TARDIS right now.”
“I'll help him with that,” Matt offered.
“And I'll help you guys decorate.”
“Thank you.”

They smiled and Matt went off to the home theater to help Arin. Brian grabbed some Doctor Who themed decorations and started hanging them up.

“So Tippi, have you talked to Becca yet?”
“No not yet. I think I may tomorrow. Do you think that'll be the perfect time?”
“It may. I think it'll make her birthday better. If she's in love with you like you suspect, it'll work perfectly.”
“Good. I really hope it all goes as planned.”
“I'm sure it will.”

Tippi smiled and continued hanging up decorations. She planned on telling Becca at her party how she felt about her. They had spent everyday together for the past few weeks and Becca had been showing signs of feelings towards Tippi. Tippi hoped that when she told Becca how she felt, that Becca would return the favor and admit her feelings as well. The wait was eating at Tippi, but she knew she could last another day. Just 24 more hours, Kylie. You can do it.

(Kylie is her real name, but everyone else refers to her as Tippi which is her nickname. :3)

Gonna try updating all of my stories today because I'll be leaving in a few hours for a 3 hour trip to Connecticut to bring my grandmother home and won't be home til tomorrow. And then tomorrow is football Sunday and The Walking Dead day, so I probably won't be updating. Dx
