Brian woke up with a raging hangover. He looked around and noticed he wasn't home. Where the fuck am I? He got out of bed and opened the door. He recognized this hallway. Matt's? He was at Matt's house. Oh God why am I here? Did we...? No we couldn't have. We'd be in the same bed. Though, Brian wished they had done something. He was completely in love with him.

“Matt?” He called out.
“Downstairs.”

Brian smiled and made his way downstairs. Matt was sitting on the couch playing video games.

“Good morning, sunshine.”

Brian blushed and sat next to Matt.

“Morning. I didn't know I stayed the night here.”
“You were way too trashed for me to bring you home, so I put you in my guest bedroom.”
“Oh. Well thank you then.”
“No problem.”

Brian noticed a smirk cross Matt's face. Oh God why is he smirking?

“So uh... what happened last night anyway? It's all a blur.”
“Oh not much. We drank with the girls, talked about our memories of Jimmy, and then on the way here you confessed your undying love for me.”

Brian went pale. Had he really confessed his love for Matt? If so, did Matt think he was too drunk to know what he was saying?

“Oh... Well isn't that lovely?” Brian laughed. Quite nervously too.
“Oh very. How come you couldn't tell me when you were sober?”
“I'm s-- wait what?”

Brian looked at Matt in shock. Had he really just asked him that?

“Come on, Brian. I see the way you look at me. I told you that you can tell me anything, so why didn't you?”
“I don't know because I don't want you to think I'm a freak or look at me differently? I know you don't feel the same way. You're into girls. Plus, you're dating Ivy.”
“I may be into girls, but that doesn't mean I can't be into you or guys in general. There is such thing as bisexuality, Bri.”

Brian stared at Matt. Did he just hint that he's into me?

“Matt, I--”

Matt cut him off with a kiss. Brian, shocked, returned the kiss quickly and let Matt pull him onto his lap. Brian wrapped his arms around Matt's neck and ran his tongue across his bottom lip. Matt parted his lips for Brian and Brian slipped his tongue into his mouth. Brian explored Matt's mouth for several minutes before remembering Matt was with Ivy. He quickly pulled away and frowned at Matt.

“You're dating Ivy. I-I can't do this if it means you're cheating on her.”
“Dude, I've been thinking about breaking up with Ivy for a while. She's been talking to her ex a lot recently, so I told her she should just go back to him. We got into a huge argument yesterday. That's why I was late picking you up.”
“Oh... I'm sorry, man.”
“You have nothing to be sorry about.”

Brian nodded and got off Matt's lap.

“Can we continue this when you're not dating anybody?”
“Of course we can,” he chuckled.

Brian smiled and grabbed a controller off of Matt's table.

“So what game were you playing?”
“Call of Duty.”
“Of course,” Brian laughed.
“What?” Matt scoffed.
“Nothing. It's just you always play this.”
“So? It's a fun game.”
“So you say.”
“It is. Why don't you play and find out?”
“Eh. I'm not too fond of war games.”
“Just shut the fuck up and play.”
“Alright, alright,” he laughed.

Matt smiled and grabbed his controller to stop his game and put it on multiplayer mode.

“It's not hard to play at all once you get used to all the controls and such.”
“Are you sure you want me to play this game? I can't even play the guitar without getting bat shit crazy.”

Matt laughed, shaking his head.

“Like I said, you'll get used to it. I was always yelling at the game when I first started playing, but as soon as I learned the controls and leveled up, I got so much better. You unlock newer and better weapons too, which is a huge help. Trust me, you'll do good. I'll teach you the controls and stuff so you know what to do before we play.”
“Alright. Sounds good.”

Matt gave Brian a smile and started showing him all the controls. Brian caught on pretty quickly and soon enough they were playing against another team. Brian of course would yell at the game a few times, but he would also laugh along with his yelling. The two of them played the game for hours on end just having fun and enjoying the time they were spending together. They hadn't got to spend that much time together since before Jimmy passed. They really had missed it. They sure had a lot of time to catch up on.
