Months had passed since Becca's accident and things were going great for her and Tippi. Becca decided to let Tippi move in with her to take their relationship to the next step. They'd also go on double dates with Matt and Brian. Matt and Brian's relationship was going great as well. Everything seemed to be going perfect for four. The band was also doing great. They had released their newest album Hail to the King. It was a huge success for them. Things were going great for everybody.

Though, a day had come that they all weren't ready for. The anniversary of their beloved friend and brother Jimmy's death. The guys knew the day was going to suck for Becca, so they had a plan to make it somewhat better. They wanted to celebrate his life and not mourn it.

“I can't believe it's been four years,” Brian frowned. (This takes place in 2013, so. :3)
“I know. It feels like he left us just yesterday,” Matt sighed, pulling Brian into his arms.
“I miss him.”
“Me too, babe. Me too.”
“I can imagine what Becca's going through right now.”
“I'm sure Tipp's taking good care of her.”
“Yeah that's true.”
“We'll make today a good day. We'll visit his grave and bring a couple of beers along with us, then we'll go out and do something to celebrate his life.”
“Sounds good, Matty.”

Matt smiled and pressed his lips to Brian's.

“I love you, babe.”
“I love you too,” Brian smiled.
“Everything will be okay.”
“I sure hope so.”
“Wanna call the girls and see what they're up to?”
“Sure.”

Matt smiled at Brian before getting up to grab his phone. After he retrieved it from the counter in the kitchen where he had left it earlier in the morning, he sat back down next to Brian and called Tippi. She answered after a couple of rings.

“Hey.”
“Hey. You okay? You sound frustrated.”
“It's Becca. She's locked herself in the bedroom and has Fiction on repeat. I can hear her crying.”
“Oh boy,” Matt sighed. “Do you want us to come over and try getting her to come out?”
“Yes please because she's not listening to me.”
“Alright. Bri and I will be there in ten.”
“Thank you. See you then.”
“No problem. See you soon.”

Matt hung up with a sigh and looked over at Brian.

“Becca's locked herself away in her room and has Fiction on repeat.”
“Oh no,” Brian frowned.
“Yeah so we're gonna go over there and try to get her out of the room. Occupy her mind on other things if we can.”
“Okay, babe. Let's do it.”

They quickly got ready before heading to Becca's and Tippi's. Tippi buzzed them in at the gates and they made their way up the long driveway. They parked at the front and Tippi was already waiting outside for them. Matt gave her a smile and headed over to her.

“She still in the room?”
“Yes,” she sighed.
“We'll get her out. Don't worry.”
“I sure hope so.”

Matt smiled and pulled Tippi into a hug.

“We will. I promise.”
“Thank you.”

Matt nodded and took Brian's hand before heading inside. They looked at each other with a frown as they heard Fiction blaring from the upstairs bedroom.

“It's that bad, isn't it?” Matt frowned.
“Yes,” Tippi sighed.
“Sit tight. We'll go up.”
“Okay.”

Matt and Brian headed up the stairs and as they reached the room, Matt banged loudly on the door.

“Becca open up. It's Matt and Brian.”
“Go away!” She whimpered.
“No. Open the door this instant.”
“You're not my father.”

Matt glanced at Brian before stepping back and kicking the door open. Becca jumped and glared at Matt.

“Hey! You're paying for that!”

Matt just gave her a look before going over to the stereo and turning it off.

“Hey!” She whimpered.
“You need to stop, Becca. You're only making things worse for yourself.”
“But I miss him!”

She broke down in tears again, so Matt sighed and went over to pull her in a hug. He hated seeing her this way, so he knew he had to something to get her mind off of the dread of losing Jimmy. He wanted her to celebrate his life, not mourn the loss of it. Brian stood there and watched the two embrace. It didn't take him long before joining in on the hug. It hurt him to see Becca that way as well. He would do what it took to help her move on from Jimmy's death. Anything.

I can't believe it's been 5 years since Jimmy left us. :'( I miss him every day, but today hits me so bad. I've already cried enough tears to fill an entire ocean. Why does God have to take the good people so soon? >:'(
Plus, I'm sick today so I've been in bed all day listening to Avenged. It took a lot of effort for me to get out of bed and grab my laptop. -.- My throat hurts like hell, my head's spinning, my stomach hurts, my nose is all runny and shit. Blah. Hopefully I'm better by tomorrow cause I have to work 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. :/
