(Love) Contract

Tara’s POV

I knew this bar, knew it too well. It was where John had spent most of his time, whenever I have been searching for him I just had to go here, getting drunk ‘talking’ to some friends.
Now, I knew better than that, his talking was more like betraying me with his so called friends.

I shook my head, this was past, I didn’t come here for him. I was here because Brian was in there. He was having the final talk, the one I should be making.
I regretted dragging all of them into this…
“Don’t look like that, Tara. It’s not your fault that your ex is a psycho bastard.” Jason pulled me to his side.
“Can you read my mind?” I asked him with a sad smile.
“Not really, but it was written all over your face.” Jason smiled at me and put a small kiss on my temple.
“Come on, we will get inside, have an eye on our friend, but don’t pull any attention to us. I mean it, Tara, he will freaking kill me if he sees you in danger.” I nodded at Jason and was glad that he took me with him at all.

We walked inside, it was dark and the music was loud, I hoped none of John’s so called friends were here and would recognize me.
Jason took a seat in one of the corners, pulling me next to him.
“Where could they do the talking? Its freaking loud in here.”Jason yelled into my ear and I nodded.
“They must be in the room, next to the bar. That was where they were practicing with his band, as far as I know.” I yelled back to him.
“Hmm… so alone in a room with that guy? Or more… I don’t like that Tara, not at all.” Jason yelled again.

My eyes moved over to the entrance, the door opened and I recognized the guy coming in the instant. It was Barry, one of John’s friends and band member. I turned to the side and I quickly hid behind Jason’s shoulder. He put his arm around me and pulled me close.
“What?”
“Someone I know.” I told him, my voice shook.
“Shit, where?”
“Entrance, the guy with the blond hair and blue shirt.”I told him and didn’t trust to move away from Jason.
“Fuck, he is coming near us, did he see you?” Jason asked and I shrugged, I didn’t think so.
Barry wasn’t a bad guy per Sais, he was just influenced by John… and John had a big influence, which was Barry’s doom.
“Play along.” Jason murmured, turned to his side, grabbing my cheeks and pulling me close to his face, and for a moment I thought he was about to kiss me, but he stopped just a few inches away.
I saw in the corner of my eye how Barry, stood only a few feet away.
It must look for everyone around, like Jason and I were kissing, Jason covering most of me, since he turned to the side, would make it hard for anyone to recognize me or anybody else.

Barry turned around again and left and I sighed in relief, Jason slowly put his hand away from one cheek, moving his head a little to the side, checking the situation and finally released my other cheek and had a smile on his lips.
“Was it as good for you as it was for me?” He asked and I couldn’t help the snorting laugh that escaped me.
“It was fantastic, but how in hell did you come up with something like that?” I asked him and he grinned.
“Saw it in some movie, wanted to give it a try, we didn’t have much choice…” Jason smirked and I saw over Jason’s shoulder the door next to the bar opening.

Brian’s POV

“I’m not kidding at all. Talk to Matt, your friend and betrayer… How does it feel knowing he had your girl?” John asked and I swallowed thickly.
I will not going down on his bad level.
“Tell me is Tara still-” John began again and I just wanted to get out of here.

“Let’s finish this bizarre talk here, I don’t think we need to talk any longer than necessary.I will talk to Matt and my friends. We will see us… sadly again tomorrow. Same place same time?” I asked and got up from my seat.
“Oh you don’t wanna continue our small talk, I could tell you so many things about your current girlfriend, but I guess you will get rid of her sooner or later right? All the girls throwing their selves at you, she is just one in a million right?” John asked and I felt sorry for him.
I shook my head, god he was an idiot.
“Some realize too late that the one is more important than all the millions in the world.” I said and was about to open the door.
I saw John’s eye narrowing down on me and it was really time for me to leave, because would I listen to anymore of this bullshit, I might lose the little calm’s I still had inside of me and punch him right in his nose.

“Brian?” John sounded behind me again and I stopped.
“What now?”
“Greetings to Tara, tell her she should come with you tomorrow, I would love to see her again.” John grinned and I opened the door to get out of this hellhole.
“Over my dead body” I murmured and got out as soon as possible, on my way passing I walked nearly into a tall guy with blonde hair, he looked at me for a moment and when he opened his mouth I quickly ran out, not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment.

I had to call Matt, meet with him and we had to figure out what we were doing next.
And I had to kiss Tara, had to hold her and make love to her, feel her… I needed her right now more than ever.
Had to make sure, I was the one for her, the only one holding her, being able to kiss her.
After the whole talk, after the pictures I felt this need like never before.

I nearly ran towards my car when I heard a voice behind me.
“Babe?” Tara?
I turned around and saw Jason and Tara at the entrance of the club. Have they been here the entire time?
Did he really take her here?
What was wrong with Jason, wasn’t I being clear, I don’t want her anywhere near that guy?

I walked over and saw Tara coming towards me, but I made my way directly to Jason, grabbing his collar and shoving him against the car.
“WASN’T I CLEAR ENOUGH?” I yelled into his face and Jason looked a little guilty, knowing what I was talking about.
“Calm down, I was with her all the time, never let her out of my sight. Believe me, we are fine.” I let go of his collar and felt Tara’s hand on my waist, pulling me back.
I hugged her to my body and breathed in her unique scent.

“Let’s go, I will tell you everything when we are back at the hotel.” I said and Jason got into the driver seat, while I took the back together with Tara.
“Are you okay?” Tara asked during the drive.
“Yeah, I’m okay. He was alone, in something like a practicing room or some shit.” I said and she nodded, she must know that already, had been here before.
“Are you okay? Have you met anyone?” I asked and she looked uncertain.
“I did see one of John’s band mates, but he didn’t see me, thanks to Jason.” Tara said and I nodded my head in Jason’s direction thanking him, for whatever he did, but still she would not ever set another foot into that club again, and near that guy.
“Will you finally tell us, what he wants? I am dying here of curiosity, damn it.” Jason said and I breathed deeply in and out.
“I will, but call Matt and Jimmy, they should be there too, I don’t wanna repeat myself a thousand times.” I grinned and Jason flipped me of in the mirror.
“Fine, I’ll call.” He put his phone to loudspeaker and Matt answered on 2nd ring.
“Heard something from him?” Matt voice rushed through the phone.
“Yeah, he is in the car with us, we are on our way back to the hotel. We will be there in about 10 minutes, wait for us downstairs.” Jason said loudly.
“Alright, we will be there.” With that Matt and Jason hung up and we would soon arrive and but I just relinquished in the feeling of having Tara beside me for a quiet moment, before all the trouble would start again.
