Deathbat's Kiss

*Val POV*

Its cold in the studio while I watch the guys record the next song on their album, they had written it to represent the feelings of the troops out in the wars away from their families, it was called "Gunslinger" and so far it was sounding great. Jason Berry had stopped by to surprise the guys. And that he did. Brian walks out of the booth and gives him a quite long hug "Hey buddy, how's it going" he says to Jason "oh you know, same old same old Syn". Jason replies, flattening himself out on the studio couch next to me. He looks to me "Hey Val". He says I look at him and smile "Hey Jason, good to see ya hun" I say. He pats on his lap and moves towards the booth as Matt is in singing, he adjusts the synthesizers to whistle in Matt's ears with a high pitched squeal. He tenses at the sound and comes out of the booth "Jason you dickface"! He shouts as I giggle "Not funny Val" he mumbles.

*Johnny POV*

Its hot in my closed off little recording room and Zacky is here with me, giving me someone to talk to while I work. Taking a sip of his beer, he says "So what do you got so far, cupcake"? "Shut up you ass". I say jokingly, they love making fun of me for being short. The fuckers call me the gnome king. They think it's funny, and I have to admit so do I. I play out some rhythms for Zacky and say "what do you think"? Suddenly a voice from behind us says "Well you can't spell bass without ass". It's Syn, he walks in and sits with his arms around Zacky. "Hey hon, Val said you kinda randomly disappeared from the studio earlier, where'd you go"? Zacky asks him, Brian replies with "Don't worry about it, I was just getting some air, went for a quick drive". Brian looks at Zacky, we should go gone, Matt says there's not really much more we can do here today and tomorrow we get the day off so yay"! Brian says, Zacky stands up, takes Brian's hand and they leave. "They're so perfect for eachother" I think to myself.
