You'll Fit Right In

I pulled up on to the street Brian had given me this morning while we were on the road. We made great time, hitting Huntington Beach just under six hours. Alice and I had stopped on the way in to make sure we looked presentable, and now we were cruising down the street with the windows down and the music low. “I think that's it right there. With the Escalade, and the bike. And is that a Yukon?! ” Alice pointed out a house at the end of the strip. I don't think I had ever seen a house that big in my entire life; it was like a mansion, practically! And the expensive cars and motorcycle in the front only added to the illusion.
Smiling, I nodded and followed her directions and smoothed the Mustang up into the driveway, giving two short honks announcing our arrival. We stepped out of the car, and the boys all ran to greet us. Brian and Matt made their way down to the car, leaving the boys and a set of girls standing in the doorway.
“Hey girls! Nice ride,” Brian commented, coming to my side and giving me a confident hug, which I gladly returned. His scent wafted over me and I wanted to remain with my face in his chest forever. It was minty, and yet almost dangerous, like I shouldn't be smelling him. I liked it.
“Thanks. He's my baby,” I smiled and shut the door, pocketing my keys in my purse, giving the car a small pat on the roof. “Our bags are in the trunk, you wanna show us the way in?”
He nodded and smiled, heading to the trunk once I opened it. He grabbed my bag, along with Alice's and made his way towards the doorway. Alice and I shared a look and giggled, before I shut the trunk and followed him inside.
Matt greeted me secondly, after giving Alice a small hug. He wasn't afraid to hug me too, and I gladly returned his as well. I couldn't wrap my arms around his waist, and that made me almost laugh. He was truly a huge guy.
Zacky, who I hadn't got a chance to talk with yet, followed Matt. He gave me a small handshake and a side hug while introducing himself, and his girlfriend Tessa, whom I shook hands with as well. She was gorgeous, and the girl next to her was the exact same – twins.
I was confronted with the next girl, Terri I think her name was, and she gave me a warm hug. She was really inviting, and it soothed my nerves a lot. Next to her was a man about Alice's size with a huge grin on his face. “Hi, I'm Johnny.” he offered his hand and I shook it, giving him a warm smile.
“But you can call him Short Shit. I'm Jimmy,” a tall lanky figure appeared before me and I had to crane my neck to look up at him. He smiled down at me, offering a huge hand. I took it, smiling.
I couldn't but smile at everyone around me, and none of this was awkward at all. It made me relax a little more, especially with Jimmy around. He had that aura that made you wanna hug him all the time and yet take shots until you puked. I loved it.
Alice stood next to me; she seemed a lot more tense than I. I hooked my arm around her waist and smiled, giving her a small, comforting shake. She smiled down at me and I grinned back up at her, mouthing, You'll be okay. She nodded slightly and looked over towards Matt, who looked like he had something to say.
“Alright guys. Here's the breakdown of today; we're having a party tonight,” a few cheers came from the people circling around him, and he smiled. “Yeah yeah, I know. Alright, we've gotta get some food. Brian and I got the booze yesterday, and now we've just gotta get some stuff for dinner. And maybe even lunch, if you guys haven't eaten yet?” he looked to me and Alice now.
I shook my head for the both of us. “No, we haven't eaten since this morning.” I saw Alice nod in agreement out of the corner of my eye.
“Alright, we'll we haven't either, so that leaves lunch too. Now, we can either all go out as a group, which I think would be really difficult, or we can assign people certain tasks,” he looked at everyone, seeking their opinions.
Jimmy spoke up almost immediately. “I say we go as a group. I think it'd be fun,” his so far signature grin followed his comment as he looked at everyone. There were murmurs of agreement, and nods along with them.
A long sigh escaped Matt's lips and he shook his head. “Alright, fine. Fine. We'll all go then.” he made a big movement with his arms towards the doors. Everyone cheered, and made their way to the doors, laughing and already getting loud again. Matt and Brian stayed behind, noticing our awkwardness. “You can ride with me. Newbies get shotgun,” Matt motioned to Alice, shooting her a dimpled smile and offering her his arm.
She looked down at me, smiling before nodding and taking his arm. “Thanks!” I watched her go, and smiled to myself, thinking about where I'd be riding. The Yukon was probably Brian's, right?
He appeared beside me, holding a helmet. “Here. You can hitch a ride with me. Otherwise you'd be squished between two smelly guys and I would hate for your first day with us to consist of that,” his smile made my knees weak, just like the night I first met him.
“I..I've never ridden on a bike, though..” I trailed off, following him out the door as he swung himself over the seat of his bike. “And I'm in shorts. Isn't that bad, or something?”
Brian chuckled at me and patted the seat behind him. “You'll be fine. The exhaust is up here with me, and I've got pants on. If anything, you'll just feel the air off of my leg. You won't get hurt, I promise,” his eyes pleaded up to me, and he gave me a small smile. “Come on Princess. Hop on.”
I looked between him and the back seat and shrugged. I pulled on the helmet he had given me, and tightened the chin strap. He did the same, and kicked the bike on. The rumbling underneath me sent shivers up my spine, and I smiled behind the facemask.
He looked back at me, giving a small nod and yelling over the sound of the bike. “Hold on to me, alright? And don't let go.” I gave him a small nod that I had heard him.
My hands snaked around his stomach and I felt him tense under my touch. I locked my hands together and leaned forward, pressing my breasts flush to his back. He tilted his head, probably popping his neck and he shifted the bike and got us out on the street, following the Escalade. The force of his acceleration pulled on me, and I had to tighten my grip to keep myself stable. When we stopped at a red light beside Matt's car instead of behind, I saw Alice in the front seat. She was laughing, almost uncontrollably, and I smiled at this. She was happy, and that was a beautiful thing. She had been with so many guys, I had to use more than my hands to count, and it was nice seeing her with someone who truly made her smile.
“You doin alright back there?” Brian called back to me, turning his head slightly.
“Yeah, I'm good. This is really fun!” I yelled up to him, smiling though he couldn't see me. The light changed and he changed gears and drove off. We pulled into a super market parking lot, and we parked close together. I hoped off the bike as soon as Brian had turned it off and gotten out of my way. Stripping myself of the helmet, I earned a few whistles and laughs from the band members.
“Damn Carter! You look hot on that bike!” Alice called over to me from the back of her ride, grinning. “You should get one for yourself!”
I gave a small laugh and nodded, joining Brian in his saunter towards the rest of the group. “Jeeze, I wish. But I have no idea how to even get it started. I wouldn't know what to do in his position,” I jabbed my thumb over to Brian and nudged him with my elbow.
He smiled and shrugged like it was nothing. “I can always teach you. It's really simple, no catch.”
Alice wiggled her eyebrows at me and I shot her a small glare. “Yeah, I'd love that, actually. We can do that while I'm here.”
We all made our way into the store, separating into three groups; one for more booze, one for main food like steaks and burgers and just dinner stuff for the week, and one for snacks throughout the day. All of the girls got put together, Jimmy and Brian in a other group, and Matt, Zacky, and Johnny in the other. “We call booze!” one of the twins exclaimed, gaining a small laugh from her sister. I still had yet to find any differences between the two besides their hair, and I hadn't for sure claimed who each was.
The boys groaned in protest before wandering off with one another. Alice and I walked side by side next to the cart, while the twins stood together as well. “So. Carter right?” one of the two asked. I turned to see the curly haired one giving me a small smile. “I'm Tessa. It's totally okay if you get us confused.” She nodded to her sister who gave a funny face and smiled. “Brian's been talking about you since you agreed to come hang with us.” she stated matter-of-factly, giving a small, knowing smile.
“And Matt about you, Alice.” the other girl, Terri said to her. We both looked at each other, with certain blushes creeping on our cheeks. “Really, we're not kidding. Those boys are really into you two. I think that's why Brian asked you to come. He's never done that with any of the girls he's hooked up with.”
I gave them both a smile and nodded – I really didn't know what to do when somebody says that. “Has he...said good things, at least?” I asked, regretfully. I knew they weren't going to tell me if he did, but it was still a comfort to ask.
They exchanged a smiling glance and looked at me, both nodding vigorously. We had reached the area with the wines and beers now. “Yeah, he has. He mentioned your eyes and your personality a lot. He say's you two have been talking a lot?” Tessa inclined, grabbing a few bottles of Bacardi.
As I grabbed a few packs of beer, I shrugged. “I guess so. I've talked to him on the phone at least once a day since he first called me, and I text him every now and then.”
“Bullshit, you've been texting him all the time! All she ever did the entire time we were home was text. I'd never seen her do it before.” Alice criticized me before addressing the twins, playfully rolling her eyes. The girls both giggled at her comment, as we finished grabbing the liquor.
“Alright, what about you, huh? You don't even have Matt's number and the only thing you've talked about that night is his voice and his muscles and his dimples!” I mocked her playfully at the end, quoting her from memory. The girls laughed at our antics, leading us towards the checkout.
“Hey, you shut up!” she smacked me lightly on the wrist, jerking her head to where we say Matt and Jimmy. “Don't say that so loud! I'm trying to play hard to get,” she shimmied her shoulders and we all burst out laughing at her.
“Oh, you two will fit in just fine with us.” Terri smiled and handed the cashier her card. We took the bags from the cart as Tessa put it back with the rest of them. When we reached the car, the trunk opened and we set our bags in the back.
I tugged out a cigarette and placed it loosely on my lips, rummaging for a lighter in my purse. Just as I had found one, the flick and ignition of a Zippo caught my attention and I looked up, seeing Brian lighting the end of it. I inhaled as he lit, smiling slightly when he flicked the cover over the flame, dousing it. “Thanks,” I mumbled from behind the smoke and blew it out to the side of us.
“No problem,” he muttered from behind his own light, inhaling deeply and blowing out the smoke after a few seconds. “I didn't know you smoked?”
I gave a small nod from behind another inhale. “Yeah, it's a bad habit, I know. But I run, so I guess I'm sort of canceling it out.”
“Alright you two, let's hit the road. We've got raw meat in the back, and I don't want a stinky car.” Matt clapped his hands and motioned for us all to get back in our seats. The Escalade left Brian and I around his bike, finishing our cigarettes.
“Hey, I've got a question,” he inquired as he took his last drag and stomped out the end of his light. I looked at him, raising an eyebrow, indicating for him to go on. “Do you wanna go down to the beach with me, later on tonight? Maybe for a midnight or afterparty swim?”
I looked at him, and gave a small smile. I doused my cigarette and looked back up at him. “Sure, that'd be great. I just got a new swimsuit, too,” I wiggled my eyebrows at him, and tugged the helmet back on.
Brian grinned and nodded slightly. “Sounds good. Can't wait to see you in it.” Without another word, he slipped on his helmet and swung himself onto the bike. I let myself follow suit and smiled again as the bike roared to life. He slowly backed out of the parking spot and lead us out onto the road. My hands hung onto his waist again, a little looser and lower this time, and I could feel Brian relaxing into me. I felt him give a small sigh, and I leaned my head on his back. My stomach growled in a hungry protest, and I could feel Brian chuckle; he probably felt the grumbling on his lower back. I hit him softly on the shoulder, regretting it immediately as the inertia of the bike pulled on me. My arms tightened around him again, as I let out a soft squeak, which he again laughed at. Oh shut it.
