I moaned out in pain, blinking my eyes open I looked around, I panicked and tried to sit up but my hands were tied together behind my back and my legs were tethered down to a small anchor. I whimpered quietly and looked around. I was in the back of a car.

"Mmmph!!" I tried to say something but it just came out muffled from whatever was in my mouth that kept me from talking.

"Oh good you're up" I heard my kidnapper say. " You must be hungry, here lets get you something to eat sweetheart" he said. I felt the car pull over and I heard the engine cut. He turned around and I was met with bright green eyes. I whimpered and backed away from him until my back hit the hatch of the trunk.

"Don't be afraid" he said in a cooing manner. He climbed in the back with me and pulled the tape off of my mouth, which was a bad idea.

"Help!!!" I screamed out as loud as I could before he slapped his calloused hand across my mouth, muffling my screams. " Shh... We shouldn't be separated. We're going to start a family together darling" he said to me, causing me to whimper in fear, tears rolling down my cheeks. " But for now...you need to eat. " he said to me. I whimpered quietly and struggled to get free. I watched him pull out a peanut butter sandwich and I looked at him cautiously as he held it up to my mouth.

"I'm not eating that"

"Why not?"

"I don't know what you did to it"

He groaned and bit into the sandwich and ate what he chewed off. I hesitated a moment before taking a small bite off of it and swallowing it. he took a drink of water before pressing the bottle against my lips. I took a drink and glared at him. Then he replaced the duct tape on my mouth. " We're almost home darling" I said to her.

Zack

I replaced the duct tape on her mouth and got out of the car. I closed the door and locked it back up before going to the front where I got in the driver seat and started the SUV back up. I put in a Metallica CD and began to blast it, so that nobody could hear her. Thankfully it wasn't loud enough to hurt her ears or mine. I looked in the rear view mirror to see her laying back there.

Crying.

Matt

I rolled over and groaned with annoyance before picking up my phone that was ringing. "Hello?" I muttered as I sat up in my bed, the sheet falling off of my chest.

"Sanders there has been a murder, and what we think is a kidnapping. We need you" I heard my boss say. I looked over at Val who was sound asleep beside me. "Today is my day off sir" I said back to him.

"You're our best agent. We'll pay you over time. We think it's the guy you've been chasing for three years" he said, grabbing my attention. I ran a hand over my buzzed hair before releasing a sigh into the phone. "I'll be there soon" I said. I got out of bed, hearing Val make a noise. I looked over to see her turn on her side to look at me.

"Where are you going Mattie?" She asked softly. " I have a case they need my help on" I explained.

"But today is supposed to be your day off babe. What about what we had planned" She sighed quietly

"I'm sorry baby, I'll make it up to you I promise" I said as I walked over to her to give her a kiss. " Please be careful" she said after I pulled away. I walked out of our room and closed the door behind me before walking down the steps to my kitchen. I poured myself a mug of coffee before walking out the door. I got in my car and began to drive to the address where the murder happened.

I pulled up to the house and saw the " Caution" tape that I was far too familiar with. I got out of my car and walked over to the line of tape before lifting it up and ducking under it. I walked into the house.

" What do we have?" I asked looking up at the bedroom wall where there was a message written in blood.

It was him.

It was Vengeance.
