Little Sullivan

Truth

It’s nearly one in the morning and Jimmy and I Just finished cleaning up the mess from the party. I was now wearing my lazy clothes ( www.polyvore.com/gwen_in_sweats/s... ) and sitting down the couch, cuddled up to my giant duck Jimmy had given me for my graduation, thinking of Brian.

I still can’t believe that after all this time, we’re finally together. I haven’t seen the guys since they left on their first tour. It was kind of boring without them around, but I still had managed to stay in contact with my brother. As soon as Jimmy had enough money and had moved out the house, he let me tag along.

My parents didn’t like the idea at first though, but in the end Jimmy had convinced them to let me move in with him. He promised he was going to look out for me and take full responsibility. He made sure I stayed in school and not screw up like he had done so when he was my age, and he kept the promise.

I had screwed up from time to time at school but instead of Jimmy yelling and criticizing me like my parents would when I stayed with them while Jimmy has gone to his tours, he took the time and listened to me on why I locked some girl in her locker completely naked in the locker room and done some other pranks to her such as putting a snake in her car.

I hardly got into fights at school though I mostly just pulled pranks to those who dared mess with me. The only times I got into fights was when the other person starts it and dares push my buttons, but I never started them unless they talked shit about my brother and the band, that’s when I’ll make them regret ever hating on them.

Here I am now I graduated nearly eight or nine hours ago, I’m eighteen now and I’m dating the hottest guy I’ve ever laid eyes on. He’s just so perfect with his crazy seductive like smirks, his charming brown eyes, and his cheekbones that makes him look even more hot, he’s the man that will make every woman’s ovaries go in self-destruct due to his breathtaking perfections.

I pensively sighed, keeping my mind on Brian. Jimmy has walked on over to the couch and dropped down, catching my attention. “What’s making you smile like that, sis?”

“Oh nothing, I was just thinking of Brian.” I smiled, forgetting the fact that Jimmy still didn’t know that we were together now, but he did know that I have had the biggest crush on Brian since the longest.

“Still crushing on him huh?” Jimmy smiled softly.

“Kind of, I’m just so happy that this has been the best day of my life.” I grinned.

“How’s so? You enjoyed watching me completely wreck my car all for nothing?”

I giggled. “Nope, that’s not it.”

“Then what is it? Tell me. Tell me.” He shook me like a crazy maniac.”

I chuckled. “Stop, I’ll tell you.” Jimmy stopped, stealing my duck just to cuddle with it and waited until I say something with that big old smile on his face. “What made this day amazing was that I graduated from school, turned eighteen today, seen the guys for the first time in like forever and to top it all off, Brian and I are now a couple.”

Jimmy’s smile dropped into a frown. “You two are going out?” Jimmy choked out.

“Yeah, isn’t it great, my longtime crush is now my amazing boyfriend?” I smiled.

“No!” Jimmy blurred out. “You have to break up with him.”

“What? Why?” I asked.

“Brian is nothing but bad news I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“Get hurt?” I raised a brow. “Jimmy, we’ve known him since like forever and he’s a great guy, I’m not going to get hurt.”

“Please break up with him, Gwen don’t make me look like the bad guy here.”

“Then give me your blessing to date him.”

“Never.” Jimmy clenched his jaw. “If you don’t leave him, then I prohibit you from seeing him and if you do see him, I swear I’m going to go after Brian, and I’m not going to rest until I give him a piece of my mind.”

I stared at my brother in shock, not believing the words that were coming out of his mouth, he just gone from an understanding brother to a jealous and overprotective one. “Who are you to even say that, you can’t tell me what to do, I’m eighteen now and that makes me an adult and I could make my own decisions and guess what? I’m not going to break up with Brian.” I began marching up the stairs.

“Oh no you’re not, young lady, you may be eighteen now but you still act like a teen. As long as you’re living under my roof, you do as I say and follow my rules, end of discussion!”

“That’s all I needed to hear, brother.” I turned to look at him. “I don’t have to listen to you anymore, I’m leaving.”

I rushed to my room and began to pack. Where was I going to go? I still don’t know yet, I’m guessing probably over at Brian’s.

I took off my sweats and put on some jeans and put on my shoes. I grabbed my bag and opened the door but there Jimmy was blocking my way out the room. “Move.”

“No, you’re not going anywhere because as soon as you leave, you can’t come back, you’ll be dead to me if you dare walk out from this house.”

The words he just spoken, echoed in my head. I’d just felt a whole forming through my heart, I could feel tears wanting to form but I contained them from release. “Then you better plan a funeral, because I’m dead.” I shoved him out the way and stormed out the house.

I heard Jimmy calling out to me, but I ignored him, He disowned me and now I’m going to do just the same, no matter how much it hurts me. Jimmy and I had gotten into fights before but they were small and harmless fights where in the end, we both laugh it off in the end but not this time, now there won’t be a next laugh I’ll be able to share with my brother.

I took a bus then got off a couple of stops later then I walked the rest of it over at Brian’s. As I arrived, there I was looking over at his place. The lights were off but his car was there. I took a few steps closer to his doorstep and began knocking.

After a couple of knocks, I saw some lights go on and in only in a matter of seconds, the door swung open. Brian was the one who answered and was wearing some sweats. “Hey Gwen… What’s wrong? What are you doing here?” He noticed my bags and the tears that finally made their chance of escape.

“I need a place to stay.”

"come on in." Brian calmly took my bag and let me in. "stay as long as you need, I'm here for you." Brian held me close to him as more tears uncontrollably escaped. "I couldn't stop myself from crying, this was really happening, I've lost my brother, I got disowned.
