Jimmy's pov
when I woke up Leana was still holding on to me and there was a piece of paper taped to my forehead. I took it off and read it it said:
Jimmy I couldn't take Katie to school this morning cause she was running a fever please check on her when you wake up

Leana opened her eyes and I said "good morning sleepy head you never left" and she smiled and said "cause you never told me to" and I smiled freakishly happy. She put her hand in mine and said "Jimmy..." and Katie started crying. "Hold that thought for one second I'm really sorry gotta go check on her" I said and jumped off the couch and ran upstairs. I ran in Katie's room and said "are you ok kid what's wrong?" and I sat on the bed beside her. "I don't know it hurts I have a fever and now a tummy ache" she said and I snapped my fingers and said "I think I have the solution" and I picked her up and carried her downstairs with her blanket. I set her in the most comfortable chair and leaned it back so she could lay down and said "Hang on one second" I said and went in the kitchen. I made her a bowl of ice cream and some milk and carried it to her and said "here this might make it better and I'll give you some more medicine" and she said " ooh ice cream" and I laughed and said "yeah kid good old ice cream" and put a kids movie in and layed back down on the couch. "Ok what were you gonna say?" I asked Leana and she held my hand again and said "I just wanted to tell you I really do like you and if I ever had the chance to be with you id treat you like my life". I paused and just stared at her and she smiled at me and I leaned down and kissed her. She smiled and giggled and that just made me laugh so hard "damn Jimmy" she said and layed her head on me and I said "me? That was you" and we both busted out laughing.
