"Damn" Jimmy said coughing "where did you get this from?" and I said "my buddy Brandon gave me some the other day and Matt almost died last night" and he started laughing. "There you go" I said "there's that smile Jimmers" and he got up and hugged me. The front door opened and syn yelled "we're here" and Katie ran through the house yelling "Jimmy Jimmy" and I said "he's in here" and she ran to us with her arms wide out. "Jimmy Jimmy I'm back from school where's katlin at?" Katie said jumping in Jimmy's lap. "Hey kid sit down I gotta tell you something" Jimmy said getting that sad look again and she said "are you ok Jimmy you look sad?" and he nodded and said "we'll um katlin isn't with us anymore she left" and Jimmy started crying again. "What do you mean she's gone? Is she coming back?" Katie asked and Jimmy said "I'm afraid not so its just me and you for a while kid" and she said "we'll that's fine she didn't want to be apart of our family so fuck her so it's just us". Jimmy nodded and we started laughing and he hugged her.
Jimmy's pov
I felt bad and needed to be alone a while so I got up and got a couple beers and grabbed my jacket. "Where are you going Jimmy?" Syn asked when I walked to the door and I said "out for a while I'll be back" and shut the door. I put some headphones in and listened to Metallica and walked to town.
Matts pov
when I got out of the shower I went to my room and Valerie was laying down on the bed and I looked in the closet for some clothes. When I reached up my towel fell and Val said "Matt Sanders!" and I said "what?" and she said "your towel fell" and I said "shit!" and picked it back up. I put on a pair of jeans and a damage plan T-shirt and put on some shoes. "Oh you haven't heard have you?" I asked val and sat on the bed and she put her head on my shoulder and said "heard what?" and I sighed. "Katlin broke up with Jimmy this morning" I said and she said "oh no why?" and I shrugged and said "she wouldn't tell him she took Katie to school and then left" and Val said "I hope he's ok that is horrible". I got up and said "I don't know the guys are all downstairs now" and we went downstairs. "Hey guys where's Jimmy?" I asked when we got downstairs and syn said "he left walking a while ago he said he'd be back" and I said "god dammit i hope he's not drunk as fuck somewhere passed out.
Jimmys pov
I walked inside the bar and sat down and the bar tender said "what can I get for you?" and I said "anything that will get me drunk". "Bad day huh?" The bar tender said and I said "yeah my girl broke up with me this morning" and he said "damn that sucks man we'll I'm Alex" holding his hand out and I said "I'm..." and he cut me off. "Jimmy Sullivan I know man your fucking awesome" and I said "if I was so awesome why'd she dump me?". "Hey man it's not you it's her man she was lucky to have you I bet your a great guy it's her pass then give him to somebody who cares" and I nodded. This guy came in and yelled "hey rev!" and I turned around and he pulled me out of my seat and punched me in the jaw and Alex said "Damian get out of here before I call the cops my manager don't want you in here starting shit". I got up and said "nah Alex I'm good" and kicked the guy in his dick and he hit me with a fucking cinder block and my head started bleeding. These other 2 guys pulled us apart and threw him out the front and me put the back "come back when your sober I don't want shit started here" the guy said and threw me out. I sat on the steps outside and started crying not cause it hurt but because I missed katlin. The door opened and this beautiful girl came out and said "your Jimmy right?" and I turned around and she said "of course you are" and sat down beside me. "Alex told me to bring you a cold beer and a bag of ice I seen you get hit with that cinder block I'm really sorry" the girl said and I took the beer and drank some. "That was supposed to be for your head not to drink" the girl said laughing and she held the bag of ice to my head. "Ahh that's cold as shit!" I said and she took it off and said "oh my god your bleeding too much lean over let me see your head" and I layed my head in her lap and she rubbed my head and said "oh god you have a huge gash in your head your gonna need stitches" and I said "oh yay what fun" and she laughed. "May I ask why you're crying?" She asked and I nodded my head and said "my girlfriend broke up with me this morning" and she was rubbing my back and she said "aww we'll it's ok I'm here for you and just let me put this out there no girl is worth crying over like that Jimmy and I'm really sorry". I sat up and layed my head on her shoulder and started crying again and she rubbed the back of my head. Alex came out and said "oh sorry am I interrupting?" and she said "no he just needs to be comforted he's heart broken" and it thundered and started raining on us. "Oh shit guys y'all can come in now the manager left and we closed up already" Alex said and the girl said "come on well go inside and get you cleaned up reverend" and I smiled and stood up and almost fell backwards. "Oh shit I think you had a little too much to drink" the girl laughed and put her arm around me and helps me walk in. "Here sit at the bar and I'll go he the aid kit" the girl said and walked in the back. "So Jimmy let's see that head now I know he hit you awful hard with that block" Alex said and started feeling around my head. "Oh yeah I see it I'll have it fixed up in a jiffy do you need some pain medication?" Alex asked and I said "no" and held up a blunt.
