Roadtrip

Matt’s POV
When I came into the breakfast room, everyone was already there, except for Brian and Izzie. I walked into sight of the rest and they all let out a breath in frustration “Damn, it’s only you” Mia sighed.
“Goodmorning to you too, Mia” I smirked “No sign of them yet?”
Zack shook his head “Probably celebrating their newfound relationship status” he replied dryly.
I got some food on my plate and grabbed some coffee, I couldn’t deny watching out for Brian and Izzie too, I was just too curious how it all went last night.

5 minutes later we heard the elevator bing and we saw Brian coming into the room “Goodmorning” he greeted all of us, he looked tired and absentminded.
“Where’s Izzie?” Mia asked as Jimmy and I exchanged looks.
“Oh, she was still sleeping” a slight smile crossed his face as he grabbed some coffee and sat down staring ahead, all of us were waiting for him to say something, but apparently Brian didn’t get the memo that he was supposed to say something, he just sat there.
When he got up to get food, everyone looked at me and Johnny elbowed me “Talk to him! What the hell is going on!”
I got up and walked after Brian “Hey man, why isn’t Izzie with you? Didn’t you two have a nice night?”
“Yeah thanks for that” he said sarcastically “She was sleeping, I was hungry, so I got up and she’s still in bed, she will be here, leave it alone”
“Brian, what the fuck, what is going on?”
“Not much. We ate, we fucked, we slept, business as usual” he smirked and walked back to the table again, I shook my head and grabbed some more coffee, we were back to not talking again.

I looked over at the table, Izzie had arrived too and I saw her sitting next to Brian, her hand on his thigh, turning his face to her, kissing him. Brian kissed her back, but this wasn’t what I had suspected to see this morning. Mia and Jimmy were gaping at them, when Brian snapped his head to them “What?!”
“Damn Gates, got your panties in a twist?”
Izzie stood up from the table “I’m going to get something to eat, you want anything else sweetie?” she asked Brian.
“No thanks” he replied dryly, Izzie didn’t seem to notice it, she was smiling at him, all loving eyes. She walked over to me. “Goodmorning Matt, do I have to thank you for last night?”
I decided to play dumb “what for?”
She pushed my side playfully “You know the date setup, I know you planned it like this, thank you.” Izzie kissed my cheek “It was an amazing night, I loved every second of it! I think we are moving forward, Matt, maybe it will be more than this little friends with benefits thing. He really seemed to have changed his mind, he was so sweet!” she beamed as she grabbed some other food and walked back to the table, sitting next to Brian, making all googly eyes at him...

....And he? He barely reacted....Damn, this could be one of the stupidest things I had done on this trip.

Mia’s POV
The ride over to New York was uncomfortable to say the least. Brian insisted on driving the whole part and let Johnny call shotgun, leaving Izzie to sit in the back. I saw her glancing over to him every now and then, her face getting sadder and sadder, no one really had the guts to say something, causing an awkward silence the entire ride.

After a short freshen up at the hotel we all left for the venue where the signing would be. The guys had all these responsibilities, leaving me and Izzie alone pretty quickly.

“The manager said there are quite a lot of fans waiting for them, they seemed to really look forward to it, Jimmy sure was pumped”
“Brian too” Izzie replied to me shortly.
“Izzie?” I looked at her “What is going on with you and Brian?”
“Oh nothing ... I mean... we really made progress last night... I think we can grow into more than the friends with benefits ... you know” she smiled carefully.
“But he was acting kinda weird today... right?” I looked over to her from the corner of my eye.
She shrugged “He’s just getting in the zone to be a rockstar tonight and tomorrow, it’s all part of the job”
Izzie was lying to me, but I guess she couldn’t help it, she was making herself believe everything she said.
“Alright, let’s go see how our rockstar boyfriends are working it then” I smiled, grabbing her hand.

My mouth fell open when I walked into the room. The guys were sitting behind a long table, waiting for their fans to arrive, permanent markers at the ready, jar for the money at the beginning of the table. I looked over the guys, they were so excited to be here.
As soon as the fans started to flow in, Izzie and I stood back a little, but I made sure I could see Jimmy at all times.

He was smiling at all the fanboys and winked at the fangirls, he laughed at all the girls trying to say funny things and hug with the girls that asked for it, I even saw him kiss a few girls on their cheeks. Damn... There were girls in everything I saw... I thought metal was a guys thing... Why were all these girls here? I clenched my fists these girls were touching my James... MY James! I growled at the sight.
I was looking at the whole scene for 15 more minutes, trying to get Jimmy’s attention, but he just wouldn’t look at me...
“I’m going over there! I had enough!” I said to Izzie, storming of to get my man from under the touch of all those girls wanting a piece of him.

Jimmy´s POV
This was so much fun, we hadn’t made this signing thing in a long time and this way it was just amazing to get back into close contact with our friends and family.
And it was the best source to hear directly from them what they thought about the new stuff we made and it was exactly what we needed.

We sat down on the long table, everything was prepared. Matt was sitting as the first, then me, Zack, Johnny and Gates being the last.
We couldn’t let Gates be the first or we would cause a tailback right in the beginning.
I felt a little bad for Izzie and Mia having to stand in the back and not being involved or part of it but we had no other choice.
As soon as all the fans were running inside I lost the thought about the girls completely, we had so many handshakes to do, questions to answer, hugging and signing to-do that I couldn’t even think of anything else.
Our fans really felt like family and I saw a lot of familiar faces that wanted to support us in this charity race.
Matt was saying a few words as introduction and then the event really started.

A lot of fans were asking for signing their guitars and for a hug or a photo.
“Jimmy, you are amazing, can I please take a photo with you?” A girl said standing in front of me.
“Sure thing, sweetie. Come here.” I stood up and leaned towards her, she made a photo and I smiled, when she was done, she kissed my cheek and I winked at her.
That went on and on with different kind of fans I saw Brian signing boobs and Zacky laughing loudly when panties was thrown their way.
I heard Matt flirting with a fan next to me and grinned, maybe he wouldn’t be the sexless leader any longer.
Another girl fan stood before me, her cleavage was deep and she was only wearing a small skirt, this sure would get the attention of Gates and Vengeance.
“Jimmy… can we make a photo?” I looked at her, she was wearing way too much make-up for my taste but I didn’t let this show.
I got up and nodded “Of course, you can.” She walked around the table and pressed herself to me.
“Where is the camera?” I laid my arm around her waist and she motioned to her friend with the camera.
They made a picture and I tried to wiggle myself free from her embrace.
“Thank you.” She leaned towards me and kissed my cheek, I smiled again and she wanted to hand me a note but I shook my head at her.
She pouted a little and grabbed my butt before she left. I flinched a little and was about to sit back down when I heard Mia’s voice.
“Matt?” Mia yelled over the crowd and I saw Matt standing up.
“Mia? What’s up?”
“They won’t let me walk towards you.” Mia yelled back.
“She is with us, let her get here.” Matt yelled to the security around and soon Mia stood at the table beside Matt.
She looked pissed and I frowned at her. She grabbed my arm and led me away from the table, behind the small covered up stage.
“Can I talk to you for a second?” She seethed and I frowned even more.
“What’s wrong? You look pissed!” I asked her and she lifted an eyebrow at me.
“I look pissed? Maybe because I am pissed.” Mia narrowed her eyes at me, then she brought her hand up to my cheek and whisked something away looking at her thumb afterwards.
“Lipstick.”
Oh now I got it… she was jealous… “Ah hottie, is that really what I think it is?”
“What?” Mia snapped.
“Are you jealous?” I tried to hide that I wanted to grin like an idiot.
“I AM NOT JEALOUS!” Mia looked even angrier now.
“Oh yes you are.”
“Alright, maybe I am, but did you even realize what you were doing there? They touch you and kiss you and I saw one of them grabbing your ass… what the fuck?”
I couldn’t even try to hide the grin anymore.
“Oh come on, hottie. This is just business… they are fans.” I tried to soothe her but as it seemed that didn’t really work out.
“I am the only one to touch you like that, James.”Mia moved forward and I took a step back.
I liked this game, I felt a table behind me and stumbled against it and sat down.
Mia walked towards me, getting in between my legs and grabbed my face between her hands and kissed me.
I felt my brain completely shut down, when her hungry kiss deepened and deepened.
Her hands wandered underneath my shirt, touching skin and I grabbed her waist holstering her up onto my lap, our bodies pressed against each other, not caring where we were making out right now.
Shit, if she always reacted like that I had to make her jealous more often.

Izzie’s POV
As I watched Mia storm off to get to Jimmy, I looked over at Brian. That trashy girl that had gotten his autograph earlier was standing with him for almost 15 minutes now and every time he did a signature with someone else, he winked at her. He grabbed her hand and put it on his shoulder, where he kept touching her every time he got the chance. I shook my head, he is a rockstar, it’s part of the job, we hadn’t talked about our status yet, hell, we hadn’t discussed last night at all, but there sure had happened something between us, this trashy bimbo meant nothing. But then again... she stood just a little too close to him, putting her breasts up against him and his hand moved behind his chair, to a place that I couldn’t see, but apparently it made her giggle.

When the last one in line had passed, I was close to my boiling point, he could just see me standing here and still he was acting like this?! Then he got up from his chair and whispered something in the bimbo’s ear, she kissed his cheek and he turned around, walking towards me with determination and a sweet smile on his face.
I let out a sigh in relieve, it WAS just the job, he would take me back to the hotel now.

He closed in on me, putting his hand on my side, pulling me a little closer. I prepared for him kissing me and stretched my neck a little. Then I felt his breath on my ear. “Iz? Could you maybe crash at Matt’s tonight? I need the room” he smirked. Did he just say what I thought he said?
Not waiting for my answer he turned around to the bimbo and put his arm around her, leading her out of the room.

My heart fell ... he had said EXACTLY what I thought he had said.
