Roadtrip

Izzie’s POV
“Izzie! Where are is that black tube top thingy you have? I know you brought it with you, it’s your favourite!” I groaned and turned around in bed, pulling the sheets over my head. The sheets got pulled off again by Mia. “Well?” I heard her impatient voice.
“Mia, shut the fuck up, what time is it?”
“10, now get up and help me get ready, Jimmy will be here around 12”
I grunted “Why are you doing this to me? Do you hate me that much?”
“Yes! Now get up and help me!”

I let myself slide out of bed and walked to the bathroom with my eyes only half way open. The hot water on my skin brought me back to life. My body was a little sore. Standing on my feet the whole night was exhausting and being ravished by Brian like that didn’t really help either. I smiled at the thought, damn that guy, I didn’t know what had gotten into him last night, but if 2 days apart made him do that, we would be apart more often. It was so much fun to have sex with him, no strings attached, not expecting anything and getting my needs fulfilled anyway. I sighed, he was godsend, really.
The party finally ended at 3 a.m. We were exhausted and so were the guys, everyone had to work for the money, but we got paid well and the guys could keep the tips, and seeing how those women were throwing dollar bills around, that mustn’t have been a bad pay either.

The 7 of us had walked out of the club, heading to our own apartments. Jimmy was attached to Mia’s lips, kissing her lazily “Can I sleep with you?” I heard him ask her, but Mia shook her head
“Too tired Jimmy. We will stay here, are you moving on right away?”
Brian replied in Jimmy’s place “No, we will stay here a few days too, we can probably get another job here somewhere near and Gary says we can use his apartment for a few days” He had pulled me closer and kissed me deeply “I will definitely see you tomorrow” he whispered in my ear. The promise in that sentence made me quiver with ache.

I was getting in to our car and motioned Mia to hurry, I wanted my bed. Jimmy had walked her to the car while the others were watching. I saw him push her against the car, kissing her passionately one more time. He said something to her, that I couldn’t make out but her reply was a shy “Yes, Okay, I will see you tomorrow, around noon?” He kissed her one more time and opened the door for her.

Apparently Jimmy asked her for a date and she obviously said yes, and logically that was why I was up at this ungodly hour. I walked back into the bedroom with my towel wrapped around me and found the biggest mess of clothes lying around “MIA! What the fuck are you doing?!”
“I can’t find the top! And there is nothing else I can wear!”
I sighed and stopped her from rummaging through all our stuff
“Mia, stop it! Why are you so nervous, it’s Jimmy”
“I... I don’t know! Because I know I really shouldn’t go on a date with him?... Because I know nothing changed?”
“Oh babe, but you couldn’t say “no” huh?”
“No” she replied quietly.
“Come on, let’s get your dressed in something comfortable and sexy, I know just the outfit”
I grabbed some clothes out of the pile and gave them to Mia “Here, put this on, it’s perfect.
She looked at me and then at the clothes “You are actually right, will you do my hair?”
“Sure, you get dressed, then I can put on some underwear” I winked

We were just applying the finishing touch of Mia’s make up when we heard a knock on the door and Mia looked at me scared
“Oh god Mia, relax!” I gave her a look as I walked for the door.
There was Jimmy, flowers in hand, big grin on his face. It made me smile
“Come on in Jimmy, she is almost ready”
Jimmy came in, giving me kiss on my cheek and walked past me. Just as I was about to close the door a foot was placed between it.
“Do we have to stay outside?” Zack and Johnny’s smiling faces. They copied Jimmy’s behaviour and walked in after they kissed me on my cheek.
The next face that appeared was Brian’s, he had an evil grin on his face as he pulled me towards him and kissed me a little more inappropriate than the other two.
“We thought we could keep you company while Jimmy takes Mia out. You look hot, I think we should send the others out again” he said in a husky tone, while he looked me up and down. I was walking around in my girly boxers with rainbows on it, with only a shirt topping it. Shit, I totally forgot to put on some pants!
I looked behind Brian as soon as he came in “Isn’t Matt with you?”
He looked at me annoyed, what was that about? “Of course he is, he is parking the Van”.

Jimmy and Mia were coming towards the door again, hand in hand, all ready to go on their date. “Don’t do anything stupid, or at least keep the stupid to a minimum so I don’t have to bail you out later” I chuckled as I kissed Mia’s cheek.
“And you” I pointed at Jimmy “Bring her back in one piece or I will cut your balls off” Jimmy’s hand automatically wandered to his junk when he looked at me scared. I laughed. “Don’t look so scared. Are you going to hurt her?”
“NO!” Jimmy replied indignant. “That’s what I thought” I replied, opening the door to them. I smiled as I watched them walk away, they were really good together.

“Izzie, wait!” I heard a voice when I was closing the door. Matt came jogging into the hall.
“Hey!” I smiled at him.
I let him come in and he pulled me in for a hug and kissed my cheek “Thank you so much for yesterday, I thought I was going crazy with those women”
“Can you blame them Matt? Have you seen yourself?” I winked.
“Well, you’re not so bad yourself” he replied playfully. I felt his fingers on the bare skin of my back were my shirt had crept up a little.
“Oh shut up! Let’s see if the apartment is still at one piece” I said as I pushed his shoulder and got out of the hug.

Matt let his hand linger on my shoulder as we walked into the living room.
“WHAT THE FUCK!?” Brian yelled as soon as we got in.

Jimmy’s POV
I drove Mia over to a fancy restaurant, she looked hot, it was a hard time for me to keep my hands off of her.
But this was a date, I invited her for a real date yesterday, not the one night stand thing we already had going on. Well a real date.... I know lunch dates are kinda lame, but I couldn’t wait till night to take her and by the way, this way we would have more time to do all datey things before the day would be over.
I know this was stupid and I may get hurt in this action, but at least I had to try.
I wanted to get to know her better and I had a feeling that she felt the same, even if something was holding her at bay.
But I would figure this out… I had to!

We got out of Mia’s car and stood in front of this huge noble restaurant in the middle of Reno.
I had thought about this date the whole night, even before I asked her to come with me, and I wanted to make everything perfect.
I wanted to show her another side of me. She knew the drunken going out Jimmy, but if she wanted I could show her the well-behaved and sweet Jimmy as well.
She looked through the window of the restaurant, it was pretty crowded for lunch but thanks to Johnny’s friend who knew a guy, who had another friend, we got a table at on this day.

I held my arm out for Mia and she took it, I kissed her temple. I really couldn’t stand the not touching her.
“You look beautiful. Did I tell you that?” I asked Mia and looked her up and down again, for the fifth time.
“Thank you. You look don’t so bad yourself either.”
I leaned down and captured her lips in a small kiss before we walked towards the entrance.
A waitress came running towards us.
“Did you book a table ahead, if not I am really sorry but-”
“Sullivan, for 2.” I smiled and the waitress looked into her book then nodded.
“Very well, Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan please follow me.”
I heard Mia chuckle next to me and I had to smile as well, Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan…
Our first real date and now we were already married, nice beginning.

When we sat at our table Mia and I stared into our menu and I scanned the whole thing for anything I would like to eat, but… came up with nothing.
And when I looked around I saw a whole bunch of people looking at us with wide eyes.
I wanted to scream at them to look away, but I kept quiet, I could behave…

“Jimmy?” I heard Mia whisper and I looked up from my menu.
“Yes?” She looked uncomfortable and immediately my hands began to sweat, what if this was a dumb idea, what if she hated this…
“Did you choose? I.. I honestly don’t know what I should eat.. you know.. I’m a little picky with my food.”
“Oh.. ahhm.. well.. no I don’t. Actually, I can’t read half of the card.” I said honestly.
“Do.. I mean... do you like it here?” I asked her and she looked around.
“I feel a little… hm.. observed by the other people, I think I am totally underdressed and I am afraid I will use the wrong fork or something they will throw me out.” Mia said and I couldn’t suppress a laugh.
Damn, this woman must have been made for me. I felt exactly the same.
“Do you want to leave?”
“Are you mad if I say yes?” Mia asked shyly.
“Absolutely not… but then you have to tell me where to go… I didn’t have a Plan B, you know?” I told her with a smile.
“I think we can think of something else together … something where we both feel a little more comfortable?” Mia said and stood up.
I stood up myself and the waiter came running towards us, “Is something not right, may I help you? Do you like to have another table?”
“No, thank you. We just forgot we had another appointment we need to attend and unfortunately we have to leave.” I said and nodded in thanks.


I grabbed Mia’s hand and we sprinted out of the restaurant, when we opened the front door I saw it was raining like crazy.
Ah fuck…. We would be soaked, but before I could make a move to stop, Mia, still grabbing my hand, pulled me out in the rain.
She laughed loudly and held her head towards the sky.
I moved in front of her, laid my arms around her waist, pulled her close and kissed her.
We stood there, in the middle of the street, drenched from the pouring rain and I never felt better.
Mia pulled away with a smile.
“Come on, I have an idea where we can go!”
She pulled me down the street and I was excited to see what her idea for our date would be.
