Roadtrip

Jimmy’s POV
“Do you remember that first breakfast we all had together? The one after you made your one night stand a two night stand?” Matt said, looking around the table.
We were in a restaurant together, after the amusement park we went back to the hotel, freshened up and dressed nicely to go out with the 7 of us, one last night before we had to go back to normal life.
“Yes, I remember, I still had a chance with Mia back then, when I think about the nice shots you took of my body, licked my throat for the salt, you remember that Mia?” Zack smirked.
“I’m sorry to help you out of the dream Zee, but I remember the scene very clearly and yes I remember that I leaned over to you and licked your throat for the salt.” Mia said and I narrowed my eyes not really wanting to hear this part of the story, even if I liked the ending to it, the beginning not so much, still regretted not being there from the start, could have made her mine before that had happened.
And still thinking Zack had his lips on her and she had his lips on him, made my heart beat faster and I grabbed the table hard.
“I know you would remember that…” Zacky smirked again and leaned towards Mia a little, I knew this was all fun, but I didn’t like this kind of fun.
Mia leaned forward meeting Zack’s eyes and then turned her head to me, smiling “When I leaned over to you and licked the salt away I met Jimmy’s eyes on the far side of the bar. I can tell you our eyes locked and I was already lost in his baby blues… he got me right there the first second…” Mia smiled at me and I pulled her to my side, kissing the top of her head.
“Awwnnn Mia.. come on, you could have left him at least the small illusion that he had a chance…” Matt chuckled and Zack pouted.
“Zack, honey, I can tell you if Jimmy wouldn’t have been there, you were my number one… but you know how it is…” Mia grinned and leaned towards me and I kissed her again.
“I will stay with my opinion, you stole her away from me, and I will tell you this always just to remind you.” Zack looked at me with a grin and I smiled back, I could live with that, as long as I had Mia at my side in the end…

I loved her so much and I couldn’t stand the thought of not waking up next to her anymore. I really wanted, no I needed, her to move in with me. I was losing myself to dreaming again, when I was dragged out of it by Izzie’s voice, addressing me directly.
“You were right that morning, by the way”
“About what?” I asked
“About not hearing Brian and me... Nothing happened that night”
“WHAT!? Ohhhhhh Brian!!! And you were bragging, and telling me I wasn’t tall enough to have fun like that” Johnny let out a howl “She has always known how to handle you”
“Was that really necessary?” Brian asked Izzie, but he smiled and kissed her softly.

Oh yeah… “Since you shamed your boyfriend with a story.. I have a funny story we haven’t shared.” Mia sat up straight and I frowned thinking about the trip and since I feel pretty healthy about everything I do, I didn’t really know what she wanted to share.
“So I talked to Jimmy on the phone when we were in New York, my battery was low and I walked into our room, everything was dark and-” Suddenly Izzie sprang up from her chair and held her hand over Mia’s mouth.
“Don’t you dare say anything else…” Izzie said between clenched teeth’s.
Brian chuckled and knew what this was about but the rest of us just stared at the girls, like everybody else in the restaurant I guess.
Izzie let go of Mia and she smirked, Izzie slowly moved back to her chair, but her eyes were glued to Mia.
“Izzie was all flushed and breathing heavily and just had phone sex with Brian.” Mia hastily said before Izzie could get between it.
“You did what?” Matt laughed loudly and Johnny was banging his head on the table laughing as well.
I smirked and looked at Brian mouthing ‘Good idea’ he nodded ‘Couldn’t finish’ he mouthed back with a pout.
“I will get back to you with that one, Mia, you will suffer, maybe not right now but someday…” Izzie looked angry and tried to ignore the comments from Zack about how much money she took from Brian for the call and it was just us goofing around and Izzie knew it… In the end she had to smile as well.

Brian’s POV
We had just so much fun talking about everything that happened and remembering so many funny stories but I always felt this little sadness hearing all of this, because I knew it was about to end.
The normal life would have us back soon and how much would it really change?

I liked how it was, we were making music, it was just us friends, doing what we want… I knew it couldn’t go on like this forever… and to think that in the first place we never wanted to do this…
And then I fell in love...., I looked over at Izzie she was laughing at something Matt said and I had to smile as well, this trip was ending with more than just mixed feelings.

I looked over at Jimmy and I guess he must feel the same, he had the same look on his face I had, he watched every of Mia’s moves, he leaned towards her, kissed her, and always searched contact, when they hadn’t touched in a while, Mia turned towards him with a smile and he smiled back, as if they were together forever and honestly it seemed like it.
It’s been weeks but we felt so close that it could or should have been years…
I regretted being so stupid and not realizing my feelings for Izzie right away, but she was just so different, I should have known, should have listened to my friends… but I only realized it when I lost her.
I couldn’t lose her again… I didn’t want to feel that pain again… but could we make it?
Could I be strong enough? Was this life really something for Izzie? Does she want to handle everything that comes with it?
Has Jimmy talked to Mia about it? They didn’t know the full extent of what it meant to be with us, to not see us for a whole tour cycle, to be watched, to be all over the internet…
Would they even want that?
Maybe I should talk to Jimmy, ask him how he handled the situation?

“Did you hear babe?” Izzie leaned over and rousing me from my thoughts.
“No, what?” I shook my head slightly and Izzie motioned to Zack.
“I said, you remember this insanely awesome Truth and Dare game?” Zack asked.
“Yeah sure, will you finally tell me what it was I kissed? You never said?” I asked and everyone on the table burst out laughing and I frowned, this couldn’t be something good could it?
“Come on, guys tell me?!” I looked at Izzie and she had tears in her eyes from laughing.
“Let me give you a hint. I will tell it if you kiss my ass…” Jimmy chuckled and everybody laughed again even more until a waiter came to our table and told us to tune it down for the other guests.
“Oh no… no no no… Tell me that my mouth didn’t touch your filthy backside!” I opened my eyes wide.
“YOU! You have been part of it and haven’t told me? Oh my god… how could you!” I stared at Izzie and she tried to hide her laugh… “I kissed you with that mouth!” I said scandalized.
“It was not really.. I mean…” Izzie tried but was always interrupted from laughs.
“The whole saying you can kiss my ass has a whole new meaning now, right?” Jimmy laughed again loudly earning us another angry look from the waiter.

“Ha ha funny, then I will have to threaten you as well, my friend. Payback is a bitch!” I pointed at Jimmy and he shrugged it off.
“Guys, calm down now… calm down. What I wanted to say about the Truth and Dare was, thanks to my friend Mia here, I am stalked by the room service guy. He is sending me fucking, pictures and messages, telling me to meet with him finally… why does all the guys are into me?” Zack asked and make us laugh again.
“I voted for Matt” Jimmy winked at Matt who winked back at him, making Mia and Izzie laugh.
“Should we help him out?” Mia asked Izzie and I frowned.
“Yeah, we should.” Izzie and Mia walked next to Zack, on each side, “Matt would you take a picture of us.”
Izzie handed the phone to Matt and he took a picture, both Mia and Izzie kissing Zack’s cheek and he grinned wildly.
“Done.” Matt handed the phone back and Izzie began to type.
“Sorry, bro. But these girls got me straighten out… Wish you a nice life.” Izzie said and send the message.
With that she sat back down beside me with a smile and I laid my arm around her, pulling her to my side, I wished this night would never end.

Matt’s POV
“You’re not the only one with inappropriate admirers” Johnny said after we finished the main course. Everyone looked his way.
“That job at the post office, where Brian and I were delivering the packages?” We never really heard the stories of that day, seeing we had more important business to attend to, with Mia’s psycho ex and all.
“Well” Johnny continued “There was this woman, must have at least be twice my age, as soon as she opened the door, she pulled me inside. She asked me if I wanted to have something cold to drink, or if I would be in for a something a little more hot” I laughed, Johnny must be making this up, there was no way people really acted like this.
“Yeah, and then she asked you if you could fill her box?” Jimmy smirked sarcastically.
“She never used the words, but that might have been hard, because she was trying to stick her tongue down my throat!”
“Johnny, you just ended up in a lifetime porn movie and you refused?!” Zack laughed loudly. Johnny’s offended face, made us all follow quickly, it was hilarious!
“I knew you guys wouldn’t believe me, that’s why I kept this” He triumphantly took out a little note out of his pocket and held it up. Izzie snatched it out of his hands
“What does it say?” Mia looked at her excited.
“Dear mailman, such a shame you had to leave this soon. I will be waiting for you tonight... wear nothing but your mailbag. XOXO Marge” Izzie read out loud, barely able to get the last few words out, choking in her laughs.
“How come you always end up in awkward situations like this?” I asked him. He shrugged and smiled, looking back at his phone. I might have been wrong before “Still Nessa, gnome?” Johnny only nodded and kept texting.

“Speaking about awkward moments” Izzie began and looked over at me. What did I do?! “I mean, we all told a lot of fun stories, but you are awfully quiet my friend” Izzie put her hand on my arm and leaned in, she softly spoke “You remember that night I stayed in your room, in Des Moines?”
“Yes....” Where was she heading? Was she going to start about Tammy again? But that wouldn’t be awkward... or at least not that much.
“I don’t know if I want to hear about that night” Briand said quickly
“Oh baby, but Matt had quite an embarrassing moment that morning, you were just in time to call us for dinner” Now I totally got where she was going
“Izzie, don’t”
“Oh come on, it’s a real flattering story for me, let me tell it” she was already laughing and stroke my arm softly.
“Probably can’t stop you, huh?”
“Nope!” Izzie grinned widely and looked around the table, waiting for everyone to have their attention on her
“Matt was a little confused on who he had in his bed that morning, he had kept his hands to himself all night, but apparently his.. uhm... lower regions didn’t get the memo”
“WHAT!?” Brian yelled, spitting out his beer, looking at me with angry eyes.
“Oh calm down, I wasn’t awake yet, hadn’t slept much, because I had to listen to Izzie talking about you all night. This never would have happened if you wouldn’t have been so stubborn”
Izzie took her hand of me and held on to Brian, kissing him softly “It has always been you, baby”
“Ugh, we better get back to the hotel, this will get out of hand soon” Zacky complained, looking at Brian and Izzie, and then over to Jimmy and Mia. He might be right, knowing these four...
