Roadtrip

Matt’s POV
Today would be a fun day as closure for our little trip, tomorrow we would drive back to Huntington, back to reality. I didn’t really know what we would be doing today, I tried to think of something, but somehow I had no idea what we could be doing here in Phoenix.
I stood at the reception of the hotel and asked for some prospects and sightseeing possibilities here.
The young woman behind the counter smiled at me and handed the prospect over to me.
“Can you recommend something my friends and I could be doing today around here?” I asked her and she was about to say something when I was interrupted by two of my newer friends.
“What are you doing, Matty? Flirting?” Izzie stood behind me, Mia hooked into her elbow.
I lifted my eyes at them and looked for their significant others.
“Excuse me.” I said to the woman and laid my arms around Mia and Izzie moving over to our breakfast table.
“I wasn’t flirting.. I was trying to find out what we could be doing today. I thought it should be all about fun, right? So I wanted to give us a few options to choose from.”
“We don’t need that, Matty.” Mia said and I frowned.
“How come?” I asked and looked from one girl to the other.
“We have already thought of somewhere to go, there is something for all of us, so it’s decided and Mia and I will be driving and not telling you guys where we are going… yet.” Izzie said with a wide grin.
“Fine, but no spa or massage parlour or some shit.” I chuckled when the girl’s looked offended.
“By the way where are your guys? Do I need to hide somewhere when they see me here with the two of you alone?” I asked with an even wider grin.
“I left Jimmy a message on the bed.”
“I did the same. Brian might need a little more sleep to regain his energy after yesterday.” Izzie blushed and I widened my eyes while Mia began to laugh loudly.
“YOU ARE SO BAD!” Mia laughed even harder when she must have seen my shocked face.
“Please don’t talk to me about things like that…” I said shaking my head.
“Don’t tell me it wasn’t the same with you and Jimmy yesterday?!” Izzie said, looking at Mia and I rolled my eyes.
“Please girls, keep me out of this dirty talk.”

The door of the elevator opened and a shirtless Jimmy came out, together with an annoyed Zack, a half asleep Johnny and a worried looking Brian. They came running towards the breakfast room.
“Sir, you have to put on a shirt. You cannot walk into the… Sir... Excuse me.. SIR!” The woman tried to stop Jimmy but he went past her, straight to our table.
“Do you think this is funny!?” He held a note out to a smirking Mia.
“Yes, I think so.” She smiled up to him and he plopped down on the chair next to her.
The other guys kissed Mia and Izzie cheeks and also plopped down on a chair and grabbed some coffee.
“What does the note say?” I asked curious, after the reaction Jimmy showed.
“It says: ‘Breathe Jimmy, I am not gone, you just earned a little more sleep after that night…’” Jimmy finished and we all laughed loudly, knowing Jimmy must be freaking out not finding Mia in his bed, how would these two handle it when this trip was really over?
I looked over at Brian and Izzie, kissing and wondered if their love would also be strong enough as well, it sure looked like it, but the normal routine could ruin the steadiest relationships…
I shook my head, why was I thinking about something like that now? They would have to figure it out themselves, not my responsibility.

“Hey, so you had a good night, huh?” Zacky asked smirking.
“Yeah, we had.” Jimmy grinned and I saw Brian nod too.
“When do we hear a ‘thank you’?” Zack asked and I chuckled, I know where he was headed with this.
“Huh?” Brian frowned at Zack and Jimmy sat up straight in his seat.
“What do you mean?” Jimmy asked.
“Well, we could see on our short way home, that your girls were pretty hungry for attention, right?” Zack grinned and I stepped in, playing my own part in the little joke.
“And since you guys didn’t share your fun with us, we three at least earn a little ‘thank you’.” I finished but Jimmy and Brian’s frown deepened even more.
I looked over at Mia and Izzie and was wondering if they knew, what we meant. Izzie opened her eyes wide at me and shook her head slightly while Mia looked at Zack with a glare.
“What?” Brian looked from one to the other.
“I don’t get it…” Jimmy looked also around.
“What these two guys are implying is that we got your girls all hot and turned on during the shoot, which resulted in a lot of fun for you two… I mean, it’s safe to assume, seeing the way they acted on the way back, or in the elevator up to our rooms.” Johnny said matter of fact.

After that all hell broke loose and I laughed loudly, Brian and Jimmy were yelling at Zacky and Johnny, Mia and Izzie were trying to soothe their men and I let this happen for a minute more before I finally got between it.
“STOP GUYS! Stop…” I stood up and Jimmy and Brian glared angrily at me.
“It was a joke, don’t overreact. Don’t worry… we are just kidding… Stop it now.” I announced and finally they all shut their mouth and listened.
“Let me change the topic. Today should be all about fun, right? We want to enjoy our last real day together. And I learned before breakfast, the girls already have an idea what we will be doing today, and they want to drive and take over the lead, so why don’t we all play nice again now, have our breakfast and then get ready for a day full of fun and laughter?” I asked and after a moment I got a nod from everyone.
“Perfect, then enjoy your breakfast!” I sat back down and grinned, sometimes they needed a little redirection, but then it was all good. This was going to be a fun day!

Mia’s POV
After breakfast everyone got back to their rooms to get ready.
“Everyone back down in 30 minutes” Matt said before entering his room.
Jimmy headed for the shower and I followed getting in with him
“Is this your way of making up to me for this morning?” Jimmy looked at me, brows raised.
“I didn’t think I would have anything to make up for” I replied sweetly
“Mia, you can’t leave me. I panic when you are not next to me when I wake up. I already had three heart attacks before I even found your note. Don’t do that to me” He pulled me to his body, and I enjoyed the feeling of the water pouring over us.
“James, you need to learn and trust me. I won’t leave you, that is behind us and Josh has been locked up too, so there is no danger there. If I’m not here when you wake up, you don’t have to assume the worst” I tiptoed, kissed him softly and left the shower.
“Now hurry up, you will enjoy today, I promise”

20 minutes later we headed downstairs, meeting Brian and Izzie.
“Oh! This is going to be such an epic day! I just know it!” Izzie got all excited and clapped her hands.
Within the next 5 minutes the other 3 had come down too, which made our group complete.
“All of you in the van!” Izzie commanded.
I got behind the wheel and stopped Jimmy from sitting next to me. “Stop it James, get in the back with Brian, Izzie and I are going to do this together. You like us separately, but let me tell you... You will love us together”
Jimmy gave me a small kiss, and did as told, but not without a very discontent look on his face.
“Drive babe, I have the directions right here. It’s very easy the girl at the hotel said, so this will be a piece of cake.
“Are you telling us where we are going?” Matt asked.
“Most certainly not. You will see when we get there”

After a 30 minute drive we reached the parking lot of Castles-n-Coasters. I parked the van and everyone got out
“YAY! Hottie, I love you so much for this! I love amusement parks!” Jimmy took me in his arms and swirled me around, grinning widely. He looked like a little kid in a candy store.
“There are a lot of nice things to do, rollercoasters, arcade hall, caroussel, water attractions and especially for our fearless leader... a mini golf course” Izzie and I giggled, we both knew Matt loved to golf and this was us mocking it.
“Yeah, you two laugh, but with my technique, I will crush you all!” Matt replied with a big smile on his face.

We went to get tickets and decided to explore the park first and do the minigolf course in the afternoon. It was better that way, Matt had said, because he claimed we wouldn’t feel like making fun anymore when he had vanquished all of us. We entered the park and Jimmy was making little jumps in excitement “This is going to be awesome!”

Izzie’s POV
As we headed over to the first attraction, I looked over our group; Brian was fooling around with Zack and Jimmy and Mia was interrogating Johnny about Nessa, which left me with Matt.
“How are you doing? I feel like I barely had the chance to talk to you”
He smiled down at me and put his arm around me, pulling me into a side hug. “I’m fine Iz, I’m really enjoying myself.”
“You happy this trip is ending?”
“It will be great to sleep in my own bed again, without you hearing scream Brian’s name in the room next door” he chuckled and I blushed.
“Shut up!”
“I would rather have you shut up” he stated, laughing.
“Could you maybe stop making a fool of me? I mean, at least I have sex... what about you? Have you called Tammy already?”
“You know the answer to that”
“Yes, but I was hoping you would give a me a perfectly good explanation about why you haven’t called this nice girl, because we both know you had a great night and really want to call her”
“Leave it Izzie, new subject please” he sighed
This was far from over, but let him believe it was.
“So, besides your own bed and the silence, anything else you missed?”
“I’m kinda easy to please you know, I’m just glad to not have to take responsibility every single minute of the day and these assholes have to take care of themselves”
I laughed “Are they even capable of?”
He chuckled and we both looked over to the other five, Jimmy had lifted Johnny and held him upside down, while Zack and Brian tried to help Jimmy, only making it worse for Johnny and Mia just stood there watching them, smiling like an idiot.
Matt turned to me again “Okay, when you see them like this, you wouldn’t think so, but believe me, when we get home everyone basically goes their own way. Really, you should see them at home, I guess they all left their brains there.”

“IZZIE! Come on! We need to get in line!” Brian yelled at me, coming towards us, reaching for my hand. I grabbed Brian’s and turned around to take Matt’s too, we were doing this together. This whole day was for us, this Avenged Sevenfold PLUS group. Today we would be unbeatable, us seven against the world.
