Hostage

Alicia’s POV

I breathed deeply in and out when the three strange guys left the room and I was alone with Matt.
Another stranger but I didn’t feel such fear from him like I felt for the other three guys.
They were the ones I saw in the gym, they had abducted us.
I looked at Matt, he looked not like he had fear, he looked really pissed, what was wrong with him? Shouldn’t he also be afraid? And why did they know his name?
Had they talked with him before they knocked him out?!
“Are you okay?” Matt asked and turned to me.
I had noticed that he moved before me when the guys came closer to us and I was grateful for that.
“I.. think so yes. Do you know them?” I asked him.
Matt shook his head, “Never saw them before now.”
“Thank you.” I said softly.
“Hmm?” Matt looked at me with a frown.
“For I don’t know… maybe it was involuntary but you moved closer, when they were here. I was so scared I… thanks.” I looked down on my lap.
“Oh.. yes, no problem.” He looked around the room.
“Do you know where we are?” I asked him with a frown.
“No, seems like an old hotel or something but it looks so shabby that I don’t know if it is still inhabited. Or if it’s desolated… that would make it hard for us to escape or try to get someone to realize that we are here…” Matt mused and got up from the bed.
He walked to the window and tried to look out but everything was dark, then he walked over to the door and seemed to listen.
“Shit, they are still out there..” Matt murmured and sat back down on the bed.
“He said we have been here since more than one day?” I asked Matt.
“Yes and he said that my friends were already trying to reach me. They will soon know that something is wrong.” Matt said confident.
“Don’t you have work today or something, they will also miss you right?” Matt asked and looked at me.
“I.. no.. actually I got today off… or yesterday.. if it’s already Saturday… so my colleagues won’t notice my absence before Monday. Damn… I…” Shit..
“And your family?” Matt asked.
“I’m living alone. I don’t have daily contact with my parents or anything… so no..” I replied a little sad, nobody would know that I wasn’t there, nobody would know that I was being held hostage.
Damn, great…

The door opened and two of the guys from earlier came back in.
The youngest one as it seemed and the leader of them ‘C’ they called him.
Matt moved over to me again and I was glad for that.
“Alright, let her clean his wound and here take these. When they are done chain them together. Make it quick, I’ll be right back.” C said and walked back out.
The young one walked forward a first aid kit in his hands, “Hey… I will remove your rope now, you will clean his wound so it wound get infected. It was the only thing I could do for you.” He said and looked a little helpless.

Matt’s POV

I was surprised of the kid he seemed to care… well at least one. I gotta keep that in mind, he might be an option for an escape later.
He moved to Alicia and helped her off the bed I narrowed my eyes on him and watched his every move.
He pulled a knife out of his pocket and I tensed up and was about to stand up but he motioned for the rope and I relaxed a little.
“I need to cut her hands free.” He said and I nodded.
“What was your name?” He asked and looked at Alicia.
“Alicia and yours?” she asked. He motioned for her to turn around but didn’t answer.
Young but clever… he would make a mistake.
He cut the rope from Alicia’s hands and she immediately rubbed her wrists which looked awfully red and sore.
He took her hands in his and looked at them, “I think here is something in here as well for your wounds…”
“Let me first help Matt.” Alicia shook her arms a little then moved next to me and looked at my head.
She softly pushed my hair aside and her soft finger floated over my cheek up to my temple and into my hairline I winced when her hands hit the right spot, she moved her hands away and I saw blood on them.
“What if he needs stitches?” She asked and looked at the young guy.
“You have to do it.” He replied with a shrug.
“I’m not a nurse or a doctor.” She replied shocked.
“Well, then he will stay that way, now clean it or it will stay that way, your only chance.” He said firmly and looked at the door.
“Now hurry.” He said again and gave Alicia the first aid kit.
“But…” Alicia wanted to protest but then the door opened and the leader came back in and leaned against the wall.
“Not done yet?” He asked with a smirk.
I would gladly punch that smirk of his face but my hands were still bound, and my headache was really disturbing me… well and he had a gun…
I felt Alicia hand’s on my face again, the young guy gave her a wet washcloths and she careful cleaned my face and throat from the blood but since it was dried she had to rub to get any of it off me.
“This will burn a little, I will try to be careful.” Alicia said with one hand she grabbed my chin and titled my head to the side with the other she dapped something on my wound and it did burn but I bite on my teeth and didn’t make a sound.
Fuck it hurts.
“Ahh he is a brave one, isn’t he.” The one standing on the wall walked towards us and stopped when he stood behind Alicia.
“I would also be brave when a beauty like you was touching me, sweetie.” He said and looked at Alicia with leering eyes.
I had to swallow hard not to say anything.
“You can always treat my wounds… or more.” He said and then slapped her ass, which made her wince and nearly fell on me. I wanted to grab her waist and steady her, but my arms were still bound so I had to watch.
“Don’t C! Leave her alone.” Before I could say something the young one said it and I looked at him a little surprised.
The leader sighed and moved a little back, I think he would have acted a lot different, when he would have been alone.
“Hurry the fuck up” He yelled suddenly which made Alicia flinch again.
“It’s not so deep. I will only put some antiseptic ointment on it and a plaster I hope that will do.” Alicia murmured to me and I gave her an encouraging smile.
“Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.”She smiled back.
“Are these two sweet or what? Enough of this!” The leader said and walked to us again. He grabbed the gun from his pants and pointed it at Alicia, she gasped and looked at him shocked.
“If you make one fucking wrong move I will shoot her and then you, so don’t try anything stupid.” He said then motioned the young one over.
“Chain her wrist, then cut his ropes and chain her to him.” He instructed and I looked at him a little confused but was glad that I could soon at least feel my arms again.
The young one did as commanded and chained Alicia up, then he moved with his knife to me and cut the ropes, I looked up and saw the leader pointing his gun at Alicia she was shivering and looked down her eyes full of fear.
When the rope was finally gone I could move my arms again. I slowly moved them forward and rubbed my wrist, they didn’t look as bad as Alicia’s but they were also a little sore.
“Good, chain him to her.” The handcuffs were in place and then the leader pointed with his gun to one of the doors.
“The bathroom is here, you can go there if you need to. But you will be chained to each other, there is no window in it, so you don’t have to look for one. We will always be next door or right at the door and window, there are no chances for you to break free, so don’t try it. If you try it one of you will bear the consequences. I can tell you this can go smoothly and none of you will get hurt or this will go the rough way, as you can imagine I like the rough way better but it’s up to you.” The leader said.
“S, get the fuck out of here now. We have to talk…”
“Wait! What do you want from us and why are we here? What is this all about and what will go smoothly?” I asked him and looked at Alicia she looked as clueless as me.
“Oh we will contact your friends tomorrow… Matthew.. we want something from you and you better hope that your friends are cooperative or this will take longer than it would be necessary. Now we leave you two alone, you got a lot time now to get to know each other, right? Come on, S. He will bring you later something to eat, if you behave.”
With that the two guys left us alone again and I looked down one of my hands was chained to one of Alicia’s, so we would always have to move around together, but at least one hand was free.
