you saved me

*Jessy's POV*
Matt was barley out of the room before Zack started to kiss me again. He kissed me gently at first, nothing but light butterfly kisses down one side of my jaw and up the other, Untill I bit down hard on his neck. He yelped slightly at the unexpected pain. "Baby I want to make love to you this time." He whispered before moving to look me in the eyes, "I've never actually made love to you and I want to."
"I....." I couldn't explain myself with my dignaty remaining. He moved from his spot ontop of me and pulled me onto his lap. "You can tell me," he assured me. "I....." I started again, "I've never made love before okay!" I blurted out, embarassed. "That's okay baby," he said gently, "if you don't want to do it you don't have to."
I sighed, "I want to," I whispered, "I really want to and I'm scared." "Why are you scared?" He sounded confused. "I've never wanted to before," the words were barley audible but I knew he heard them because he held me tighter.
*Zack's POV*
After Jessy and I sat in silence for a few minutes I got an idea. "Baby," I whispered, "can I ask you something?" She nodded. "Why did I give this to you?" I asked as I placed her hand with the ring infront of her face. "I don't know....." she whispered. "I gave it to you because I love you, and I don't want you to ever doubt that." I explained.
She nodded slowley, showing that she was still confused. I took a deep breath before continuing, "you talk in your sleep," I said cautiously, "when you were asleep I would hear you say 'Zack, come back. Baby please don't leave me.' I couldn't stand it. I needed to prove that I'd never leave you and words just didn't seem to be enough. I don't want to loose you. I won't leave."
I felt tears brimming in my eyes as I finished what I was saying. She wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. "I love you." I whispered. She started to sob. "shh, baby don't cry," I said, choking back a sob of my own, "baby please don't cry!" I couldn't hold it any longer, I started to cry with her. I couldn't stand this anylonger.
I lifted Jessy off my lap, set her on the bed beside me and began to stand. She grabbed my wrist and I turned to see sad, pleading eyes. "It's okay baby," I whispered, "I'm just going to grab an ashtray my cigarettes and a lighter. I'll be right back, I promise." I slipped on a pair of shorts and headed towards the door.
I reached the bottom of the stairs and headed towards the kitchen. I found the cigarettes easily but finding the ashtray took a few more minutes. I rarley smoke in the house but sometimes it just needs to happen. I finally found the tray and headed back upstairs.
"I'm back baby," I said as I entered the room. Jessy had put on sweatpants and a tank top while I was gone. I sat down beside her and set the tray inbetween us. I pulled out two cigarettes and my lighter and we both lit up. After a few draggs Jessy sighed and leaned back against the headboard.
"Do I seriously talk in my sleep?" She said, breaking the silence. I nodded and she sighed again. "Damnit!" She cursed. "Why?" I asked. She sighed again, "a change in life," she mumbled, "a drastic change in life can cause alot of issues."
"I don't understand," I said. "I took psychology in highschool. We learned that if something changes too suddenly in your life it can cause problems such as nightmares, sleepwalking or talking in your sleep." She explained as if she's just learned it a few minutes ago. I couldn't help but be amazed. This amazing, beautiful, intellegent woman was mine and I think I finally had her convinced I would always be hers.
