Zack and I got redressed but never made it back downstairs. We ended up on the bed making out untill we were interrupted by a small scratching noise coming from the door. "Baby will you go let Muffins in?" I said with a giggle. He groaned dramatically as he opened the door and scooped up the cat. "Muffins!" I exclaimed as I reached out to grab the kitten. Zack chuckled and handed Muffins to me.
"What the hell is so funny?" I asked as Zack sat down beside me. "You," he said with a grin, "and that cat! It's adorable to see you act like that. I feel like that cat just knocked out all of your defenses faster than any persin ever could." "Well I'm pretty sure I can trust a kitten not to break up with me or hurt me." I regretted those words as soon as thay were out of my mouth.
"Fuck!" I said when I realized how hurt Zack looked, "baby I didn't mean I don't trust you. I've been hurt by people in the past is what I'm trying to say. Please don't be mad!" "I'm not mad," he said quietly.
I set the cat down in the bed and moved so my head was on his lap and I was looking up at him. I ran my hand down the side of his face, "I know you'll never hurt me." He looked down at me, "how can you trust me that easily? I mean I beat the shit out if you in a regular basis! For Gods sake I hand cuffed you and slapped you across the face!" I could tell he was mad at himself.
"Zack," I said gently as I moved so I was sitting on his lap and snuggling into his chest, "please, don't worry about that stuff. I love it, and if you don't we won't do it anymore." He sighed, "I love it to," he whispered, "but I've never loved it before. I don't know what it is but I've never been into any of this stuff before now." He seemed confused.
"That's okay," I said gently, "I never like it before you. William would hit me but he never apologized. Sure it got me off but I hated it. You apologize, every time. I love you so much for that. Baby please don't feel bad." He kissed the top of my head, "I love you too baby. Just promise me one thing?" I nodded, cueing him to continue. "You'll tell me if I ever go to far?" "I swear on Muffins' life I'll tell you if you go to far." This got a chuckle out of him. Thank God he's okay.

I picked my phone up from its spot on the couch to find a text from Dan;
I want you to meet me at the dojo so I can have a little chat with Zachary.
I huffed and typed my reply;
God damn it Dan stay out of this!
my phone buzzed;
I will not let him hurt you! He left a hand print on your neck! He clearly has bad intentions!
I felt my blood begin to boil as I replied;
STAY THE FUCK OUT OF THIS! Zack is my problem, not yours!
My phone buzzed again but for a call this time. "Babe I'm going to step outside to take this call." I stormed off towards the door before he could reply.
"What the hell do you want Dan!" I shouted into the phone.
"Jessica you need to let me help you. I....."
"I don't need your damn help!"
"Jessy, don't do this. You don't deserve the pain."
"Jesus Christ make one mistake five fucking years ago and you won't live it down. You don't fucking know what this is about and you don't need to know!" I must have shouted louder than I'd realized because I turned to find Zack standing in the doorway, he looked terrified
"Jessica just let me talk to Zack."
"It's for you!" I said as I shoved the phone at Zack and stormed into the house and up to our room.
I sat on the bed in silence petting Muffins for what seemed like an eternity. "You okay baby?" Zack said as he poked his head into the room. I nodded so he entered. "Dan and I had a nice little chat," he said as he sat down beside me, "he explained why he was so worried, and I explained that I didn't want to hurt you."
I turned to my face was buried in his chest and started to cry. "Don't cry baby, it's okay. Please don't be sad." He wrapped me in a bear hug and we sat in silence untill I stopped crying. I sat up and he wipped the stray tears away, "you okay?" He repeated. I nodded. "How 'bout we go to bed? You'll feel better in the morning. I promise."
I laide down and he pulled the covers over me then crawled in behind me and wrapped an arm around me. I feel so safe with him.

Notes

Two this that need to be said/asked.
1) I'm thinking of throwing in some of Zack's POV so let me know what you think of that idea.
2) I'm returning to school very soon so I might not be updating as often :(
