I broke away from my kiss with Zack to see him grinning. "What?" I asked with a the same grin. "I'm just happy," Zack said smiling wider, "I'm really glad you're here Jessy." "I'm glad to be here." I started, "I don't think I'd be okay alone and if I was with my brother all he'd do is threaten to hurt Will." We both laughed. His emerald eyes twinkled with joy. I couldnt look away.
I dont know how long we stood frozen but it felt like an eternity before he broke the silence. "Well," Zack started, "I'll leave you to get settled in and I'll be in the living room." "Okay," I replied, "I'll be down in a few." He smiled and exited the room closing the door.
I ploped onto the bed, still grinning. After a while I got up and began to unpack my things. I got to the bag with my guitar, my smile droped as I remembered that Will had bought me that guitar. I placed the guitar on it's stand and slid it and the amp into the corner. The few clothes I had looked lost in the giant closet. I slid my empty bags under the bed before heading for the living room.
I found him sitting indian style on the couch flipping channels. I sat down beside him and folded my legs in a similar style. I was staring at the screen and assumed he was doing the same untill I felt a finger run down the inside of my left leg. I knew exactly why. I turned to see a questioning look on Zacks face. "It's from a knee surgery I had about a year ago," I explained. "Oh," he replied, "I just wandered." "It's fine." I said as Zack continued to flip channels. After a while he landed on a horror movie.
Once the movie was over Zack stood and walked towards the kitchen. "You want lunch?" He asked as exiting. I stood and followed him. He opened the fridge, "lunchmeat sandwich sound good?" He asked. "That's fine man," I said as I hopped up on a stool at the island in the middle of the kitchen. He set some lunchmeat and bread on the island and sat down across from me. We made our sandwiches and began to eat.
When we were done Zack stood up, "well I'm bored," he started, "you want to go for a walk?" "Sure," I said, "I'll go grab my shoes." I walked up the stairs and to my room. I grabbed my favorite black flip flops and returned to meet up with Zack. As we headed out the door I heard my phone ring.
I clicked talk and put it on my ear. "What Hunter?" I said. It was my usual greeting for my brother. "Why didn't you tell me you weren't with Will anymore!" He snapped. "First off," I began to reply, "don't fuckin' snap at me! Second, it just happened last night and I've been kind of busy." "What the hell could you be to busy with to tell me something like that?" He demanded. "Well," I started, "long story short the five guys from Avenged Sevenfold were at the bar when Will left me and they took care of me and now I'm fuckin' living with one of them." "Holy fuck who?" Hunter almost screamed. "Zacky," I replied, knowing he would flip. Hunter screamed and I the phone away from my ear, making Zack laugh. "He's your favorite fucking member!" Hunter shouted, "how are you not totally freaking out?" "Shut up asshole!" I growled, "he's right fuckin' here and he can hear your big mouth!" "My bad," Hunter said. "I'll call you later," I said as I started to hang up. "Love you," Hunter shouted. "Love you too," I mumbled back before hanging up.
I slid my phone back into my pocket and smiled at Zack, "I'm sorry 'bout him," I said, "he's a bit crazy at times." "It's fine," Zack said as we started to walk. "So, I'm your favorite huh?" I stared at the ground and bit my lip ring. "Don't be embarassed," he said as he poked my side. I giggled and flinched away. "Uh-oh," Zack said with a grin, "looks like somebody's tickleish!" "No!" I squealed as he began to poke at my sides repeatidly. I giggled and tried to get away but he wrapped his arms around my waist, picked me up, and spun me in a circle. "Put me down!" I squealed. "Not happening!" He said as he threw me over his shoulder and continued to walk. "Zack!" I yelled while kicking my feet. He laughed harder.
That's when I decided to play dirty and use what I knew he wouldn't understand.
