**Changing the way I choose to write the story, hope you all still like it!**

I can't believe that Maci is still choosing to marry Sean, how could she? After everything that has happened to us, years before and even up until now. My heart has broken in thousands of peices. Because not only have I lost the love of my life. Lacy, wants nothing to do with me. I gave her up for Maci.

I was invited to her fucking wedding but how could I possibly go to her wedding and watch her make the biggest mistake of her life?

I fucking can't!

So I packed a bag and bought the first plane ticket I could get and headed to Texas. It's time for me to have a talk with my grandmother.



The flight took about five hours. When we landed I was able to turn my phone back on and doing so I seen I had several calls from my best friends, even the girls and Maci...

Why would Maci be calling me?

I listened to the voice mails one by one.

"You're not going to believe this! Where are you."

"She didn't do it!"

"She said no!"

"She left him standing at the alter like a pansiey ass, where the hell are you!"

Maci's voicemail was the hardest.

"I left him Johnny. I left him standing at the alter, I couldn't do it. Not knowing that I have you, I was afraid to leave him...I was afraid to leave the comfert that I felt with him behind. But during the ceremony everything that the pastor was saying wasn't Sean and I...It was you and I. I kept looking for you, if your would've been there...seeing you...I wouldn't have even walked down the alise...Call me back Johnny...I need you...my dad hates me right now...Jimmy stood up for you...my mom knows...she understands what we had...she gets it...he just, he just doesn't get us. Damnit' Johnny...where are you?!"

She was crying when she hung up. Now I feel like an asshole.

My grandmother yells for me, I smile seeing her and quickly turn off my phone and tuck it into my pocket. I make my way to her. "Johnathon, look at you all grown up!" She exclaimes excitedly and holds her arms open for me.

"Nana. I'm twenty-eight, Of Coarse I am all grown up." I chuckle and hug her back.

"Well, it's not often that I see mr. Bassest." I follow her to her car and put my bags in the trunk.


The drive to my grandparents was silent I just kept looking out the window, and twriling my cell phone around in my hands debating if I wanted to call MaciDane back or not. Yes, I love her, but the mere fact that she almost married Sean, is still a huge flesh wound and I just don't want to deal with it.

Once at her house she shows me to the room that I will be staying in for the time that I am here. As much as I love fame, hopefuly here in Texas, I will have a chance to be not so famous. Get my head on straight.

I was left alone for a few hours while my grandparents went to the store, so I decided to take a nap, when I woke it was dark in my room, and the aroma of my grandmothers meatloaf was going through my nostrils.

Making my way to the kitchen I stop and chat with my pops for a few minutes and head into the kitchen.

"Johnathon...hope you enjoyed your nap. Sit down...We need to talk." She says firmly, I've been here for a few hours what the hell could I have possibly done now?

"What did I do?"

"Where is Maci?" I sigh I really didn't expect this, I never did tell them what happened between the two of us.

"Back home."

"Don't lie to me Johnathon Lewis."

"I'm not, she really is back home. A lot of stuff has, happened, and I am sorry that I haven't told you.."

"Well tell me now." She sits a plate of food in front of me and calls for my grandfather to come to the table.

"A few years ago, Maci left to go off to Itaily and become a model. I was absolutely heartbroken. I never wanted her to leave and she left me anyways. When she finally came home she completely changed her looks, she thinned out, she dyed her hair got a few tattoos and piercings. She looked stunning, the only diferance this time was...she was engaged. But so was I. To a girl named Lacy."

I barely touch my food, and I look at my grandmother who is frowning and my grandfather who is slowly eatting his meal.

"I never told you about her, because...I always hopped that Maci was coming home, when she did we went to dinner once a week, then we started havining an affair...But when I realized I couldn't live without her, I broke up with Lacy. Maci...she was supose to get married today...I was invited, and I didn't go, I couldn't watch her make the biggest mistake of her life. So I flew here for a few days not wanting to face everyone. But she didn't do it...she didn't marry him. She left him at the alter, and I am here."

I take a bite of my food not wanting to talk any more. My grandmother sets her fork down.

"Why are you still here knowing this. Go get her." I shake my head.

"I can't the wound is still to fresh."

"Your not the same grandson I know kid, your the same way I was when I first fell in love with your grandmother."

"I-"

"Shut up, your going to let this ruin what you two have...She left him for you kid. I'm not saying that I don't want you here, but first thing tomorrow morning, were all going to Cali, and your going to get your girlfriend back, while we visit your mother."

I nod my head. "Yes sir'."
