Danger Line (re-write)

Tease

Dean
There had never been a custody battle between Erin and I for Beth, given the fact that I was always on the road and didn’t ever really have somewhere to call ‘home’, or anywhere to raise a child, and Erin became part of a gang while shit was hitting the fan, Beth had been better off with her grandfather.

Ever since we first got into town, ran into Hannah – tried to kill her – and Erin told me that she felt that it was time Beth came home, I wanted a better life. I knew that my daughter would be safe and happy living with her mother and Avenged Sevenfold, I mean, sure, they’re big tough gangsters who can scare away the world’s most muscular man, but c’mon… they’re big tough gangsters who can scare away the world’s most muscular man. I don’t imagine any harm would come to Beth there, and I took Erin’s word for it when she said everything was quiet in the gangs affairs… other than a woman being forced into marriage, I still see that as half her own fault.

“Why are you going to so much effort for one weekend, dude?” Sam asked as he entered the living room, handing me another pile of kids movies that I was currently stocking up on “I mean, you’ve gone crazy since Erin asked you to have her for the whole weekend at the beginning of the week, you decorated, furnished and personalized Beth her own bedroom here,”

“I know it’s unlikely to ever happen, because I trust Erin when she tells me that our daughter is safe, but if anything were to happen, and Erin either tried to stop me from seeing Beth, or Beth was in serious danger and I needed to make sure Erin and every other fucker in that house couldn’t get to her, I need the court and every family member to see that I can support and care for my little girl,”

“I thought you said we weren’t hanging around for that long,” He smirked at me, making me roll my eyes “You might want to add ‘paint name on mailbox’ to your to-do list,”

“Hurry up uncle Sammy!” I called after him, teasing him “Beth will be here soon and everything has to be ready!”

“I got it!” He yelled back.

“Cut the damn crusts off the sandwich, for the lover of Christ, do not make my daughter cry!”

Sam and I were waiting around, Sam was at the table on his laptop while I paced the kitchen in front of him.

“Would you calm down?” He asked me, his tone sounding irritated “They’ll be here,”

“They’re late,” I grunted in response.

“By two minutes, if you just-“

He was cut off by the front door opening and the sound of little feet entering the house, followed by four more feet.

“We’re here!” Erin called out.

Sam and I left the kitchen and entered the hall and found Erin helping Beth out of her jacket, Hannah helping her take off her shoes while holding her bag for the weekend. Hannah looked up and smiled when she saw us.

“Hey guys,” She smiled with a small wave “Sorry if we’re late, Beth had to say long goodbyes to everyone,” She let out a laugh and I could see the size of Sam’s smile from the corner of my eye as soon as the small noise left her lips.

“Only by two minutes,” He shrugged at her.

“Hey Bethie,” I smiled, crouching down and holding out my arms for my daughter, who instantly ran to me as fast as her little legs could take her.

“Hello, Daddy.” She cooed into my chest. I scooped her up in my arms and stood back up straight, balancing the little girl on my hip. She turned fully to me and pressed both of her little chubby hands on my cheeks and leaned in close, pressing her nose to mine “I missed you,”

“I missed you too, baby.” I smiled at her before pressing a kiss to the end of her nose and looking back at Erin and Hannah “You ladies want to come in?” I asked “Have something to drink?”

They exchanged a look, smiled and turned back to us and nodded.

“Sounds great,” Erin beamed “We don’t have to head out for at least another hour anyway,”

“Where are you two going anyway?” I asked as we all turned and headed back into the kitchen.

“Dress shopping,” Erin said, she sounded a little happy and excited, but Sam stiffened at my side. I looked at him and he was watching Hannah walk into the kitchen with big, sad, puppy eyes. I clapped him on the back and smiled sympathetically.

I couldn’t help but notice Hannah’s slight limp that she was left with temporarily from the attack last weekend. I noticed it again as Beth pulled Hannah and Sam into the back yard where I’d set up a swing set for her. Erin noticed me watching her limp.

“She’s going to be fine,” Erin told me, taking a sip from her glass of lemonade “In and out, clean shot,”

“She was shot, Erin, it could have been Beth…” I trailed off, looking down at the table, seeing Erin’s hands, I took them in mine “It could have been you,”

“Okay,” She sighed “Beth, I understand, but me?”

“What?” I frowned “You don’t think I’d care if something happened to you?”

“Of course you wouldn’t, you might be a little pissed that something happened to the mother of your child, rendering her motherless, but you wouldn’t care for the fact that I was actually dead,”

“Of course I would care if someone killed you, Erin, knowing you were alive and safe is what kept me sane,”

“Why?” She scoffed “We were nothing, Dean.” She shook her head at me “We fooled around a few times for a couple of months, the one time we were drunk and didn’t use protection like the horny fuckers we were,” She looked at her hands “Do you think we did the right thing?” She asked “Giving Beth up when she was one?”

“We gave her up, to her grandfather, because we couldn’t support her and take care of her, and that was much better than losing her forever, so yeah, we did the right thing,”

“But look at all of this,” She gestured around us, meaning the house and everything Sam and I have now “We’re both having to make up for lost time with our baby girl,” She let out a laugh
“You bought a house,” She teased “You, Dean Winchester, bought a house, a home,”

“What’s so amusing about that?” I smirked.

“People like you can’t just settle down, so you’ve obviously given up the job, right?” I looked at her for a second, seeing a glimmer of hope in her eyes “I mean, Beth needs at least one parent who isn’t out there killing people,”

“We’re trying,” I admitted “I got myself a job working on cars, Sam’s going to be working at Johnny’s Bar,”

“A mechanic and bartender,” She smirked “Sounds like something a bad movie is made of,”

“You teasing me, Erin?” I smirked, narrowing my eyes “Because you know fine well two can play at that game,”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” She asked, her mouth hanging open a little bit.

I stood up from my seat and rounded the table, took Erin by the hands and stood her up, turned her around and trapped her between the counter and myself.

“Oh…” She whispered.

I could feel her heart starting to race, I could see her cheeks starting to flush.

“What?” I whispered in her ear as I leaned in close “I haven’t even done anything yet,”

“I didn’t think you could still do this to me, Dean.” She breathed out.

“I knew I could,”

My lips moved from beside her ear, down to her neck, where I peppered her with light little kisses, making her head fall back and a soft moan escape her lips.

“Wait,” She panted “Stop,” She pressed her hands against my chest and pushed me from her
“This is wrong,”

“That never stopped us before,” I breathed against her neck.

“I’m with Zack now,” She stepped away from me and fixed herself “I love him,”

“You keep telling yourself that, sweetheart.” I smirked, picking my glass up off the table and swallowing a mouthful of the cold, fizzy liquid “But you know where I am when you realise
otherwise,”

Sam and I were dragged into the lovely back yard by Beth; she had spotted her new swing set and wanted to go and play, but she wanted it to be with her Aunt and Uncle. I’d lowered myself gently onto the fresh grass beneath us, next to the swing, while Sam gently pushed Beth on the swing. I couldn’t help but smile at her squeals of delight as she rose into the air, feeling that rush of not knowing if she was going to come back down again.

“So,” Sam cleared his throat “Dress shopping, huh?”

“Yeah,” I sighed “If I’m getting married in three and a half months, I should really have a dress,”

“I guess Dean and I shouldn’t be expecting our invites in the mail,” He let out a breathy laugh and
I looked up at him, smiling a little sympathetically while shielding my eyes from the blinding sun.

“Sorry,” I grimaced “I think fighting, arguing and bullets would only make the day worse for me,”

“There’s really nothing I can get you to do to run away with me?” He smiled down at me, he meant it jokingly, but I knew there was a hint of seriousness behind it.

“Knock me up before the wedding and we’re out of here,” I winked at him.

“Hannah!” Erin called from the back door “Come on, we’d better get a move on,”
I looked down at my watch and saw that we’d been out here for over an hour, and it was indeed
time to head out.

“Come on Beth,” Sam smiled, lifting the girl off of the swing “Let’s go and see your mom and Aunt Hannah out,”

“Okay!” She chirped

Five minutes later, we were in the car and on our way to the biggest bridal store Erin could think of.

Erin
A two hour drive to the bridal store, five hours of trying on dresses and another two hour drive home. Hannah had everything she needed to wear on the big day and so did I. I’d known it wasn’t going to be a three day trip, but I wanted Dean to take Beth tonight, Saturday and
Sunday, just to see how the brothers managed with a small child alone.

“I’m exhausted,” Hannah grunted as she hoisted herself up onto the island in the kitchen and brought her beer to her mouth “And sore,” She rubbed at her leg for some relief.

“Welcome home, ladies.” Zack smiled as him and Matt entered the kitchen.

“How was your shopping trip?” Matt asked Hannah, stepping between her legs and wrapping his arms around her.

“Good,” She gave him a small smile and pecked his lips with hers “We got my dress, shoes, veil, underwear and all the same for Erin,”

“Can we see?” Zack asked, nuzzling his face into my neck, his tongue darting out and licking at my neck a little. My mind instantly jumped to earlier, with Dean.

“No way in Hell,” I laughed “Nobody but me is getting to see the brides dress before the wedding,”

“What about your dress?” Matt asked with a wink.

“Same goes,” Hannah answered.

I turned my head and brushed my lips against Zack’s ear.

“How about you take me to the bedroom?” I whispered “I could really use something big to de-stress me after my long day,”

Zack said nothing else, he just wrapped his arms around me, lifted me to him so that my legs wrapped around his waist and carried me out of the kitchen, up the stairs and into our bedroom.

As soon as we were in the bedroom, Zack’s tongue was darting in and out of my mouth as he grunted softly. His hands ran down my sides and then started working the buttons of my blouse.
He groaned with frustration when he couldn’t unbutton them and opted just to rip the blouse open, buttons flying everywhere.

“Really?” I asked.

“I’ll replace it,” He shrugged before attacking me with his lips again.

His hands danced over my sensitive skin while he started to kiss down my body, eventually reaching my breast and taking my left nipple into his mouth, swirling his tongue around the sensitive bud. I moaned loudly and shamelessly.

“That’s it, baby.” He breathed against me “Let this whole fucking house know just how naughty you are,”

“Zack!” I whined “Fuck me already!”

He moved us over to the bed and dropped me on it, causing me to bounce a little with a giggle.

“You got it, baby.” He smirked down at me as he tugged his t-shirt from his body and crawled on top of me.

All clothes were gone in the blink of an eye and he was sliding into me at a painfully slow pace. I swear, the man just loved to tease me. What’s with the men in my life?

My moans vibrated through his mouth, he gave one big thrust and he was buried deep inside me, both of us letting out the loudest moans yet.

As his kisses moved from my mouth, down my jaw, my neck and along my collar bone, his thrusts stayed in perfect sync.

“Oh, Zack!” I moaned.

“That’s it baby, scream my name, let everyone hear you,” He grunted with more thrusts, setting a harder and faster pace.

“Zack, Zack, Zack, oh fuck Zack!” I was screaming, literally screaming from the pleasure. There was no doubt in my mind that Hannah and the guys could hear me, but right now I wasn’t giving a shit about it.

He wrapped his hand around my hip and gave one last deep thrust in my ear as my back arched off the bed and he spilled everything inside of me. His heavy breaths hit my neck as he collapsed on top of me, slowly he let go of my hips and brought his hand to my face, stroking my cheek and placing a soft kiss on my mouth.

He rolled off of me and onto his back beside me. I turned onto my side, draped my arm across his stomach and rested my head on his chest. His arm wrapped around my shoulders and he pressed a firm kiss into my hair.

“Erin?” He whispered.

“Hm?”

“Marry me,”
