No Strings Attached

Jessie's POV

"Hey Jimmy...I know you're probably really busy, but can you please call me back? It's extremely urgent." I left a voicemail on Jimmy's phone because he didn't pick up. Biting on my nails, I got up and walked to the full-sized mirror that was located in my room. I turned to my side once I was in my room and lifted up my shirt, not seeing any kind of growth.

How am I going to raise this child on my own? I don't even have a job. I broke down in a fit of hysterics, curling up in a fetal position. I remained like that for the rest of the day and for half of the night.

I wasn't able to wrap my head around the idea of having a kid with an asshole like Brian. It all seemed so surreal; like I would wake up and Brian and I would still be best friends.

"JessieBoo?" I heard Jimmy's voice ring in my ears. I looked up from my spot on the floor, seeing his crystal, blue eyes. "Aww my Jessie...what happened? Whose ass do I have to kick?"

Chuckling lightly, I said,"Well it wouldn't be right to kick your best friends ass now would it?" Jimmy looked very confused. "Brian. It wouldn't be right to kick Brian's ass."

He made an 'o' shape with his mouth and helped me stand up, leading me over to the bed.

"Care to explain." I took a deep breath and quickly told Jimmy everything. I told him so fast as if it would all seem fake.

"Oh my gosh...Jess, I'm so sorry he's an ass. That explains why he seemed pretty pissed when he came back. I'll be beside you throughout this whole thing..." Jimmy trailed off. "What are you going to tell Austin? Or better yet, the guys and girls?"

"Honestly, I don't have a fucking clue. Maybe Brian was right, maybe I should just get an abortion." I sobbed into Jimmy's chest.

"No Jessica." He only used my full name when he was dead serious. "You will not do that, I won't allow you to do that to my niece or nephew. Trust me when I say this babe, Brian will come around and if he doesn't, I'll make him."

"Thanks jimmy." I said, wiping my eyes and laying back down on the bed. "As for Austin, I can't tell him it's Brian's because he'll leave me. I already told him about what Brian and I did and he hated it a-and he knows the baby isn't his. Michelle will kill me if she finds out the baby is Brian's. I can't do that to her!"

"Shhh...don't worry about it now. Get some sleep. I'll be here for you when you wake up. Love you Jessie. Is it alright if I go get some clothes 'cause I'll be here for the next few days." I smiled and snuggled into my pillow, silently staring at Brian's shirt that hung over my closet door. I don't know how long I stared at that thing, but it was long enough for me to doze off.

~Jimmy's POV~

Once I stepped out of Jessie's bedroom, I made a b-line towards my car. My teeth and fists were clenched tightly together as I mumbled curses towards Brian, How could he be so heartless and say all of those things to Jess? But one thing I know for sure is that he WILL man-up and be a dad.

As I pulled up to BRian's house, I noticed that Michelle's car wasn't there. She must be out partying. Casually, as if I'm completely oblivious to what Brian did, I walk up to the door and knock. As soon as Brian opened the door, I immediately punched him, sending him to the floor, cupping his face in pain.

"What the fuck was that for?!" He yelled at me.

"That was for being a ass to Jess. And for leaving her when you knew she was pregnant with your baby!"

"WHAT. THE. FUCK." I heard Michelle say.

"Shit..." Brian and I both muttered under our breath.

"Hey ChelleBelle, I thought you weren't here." I said, trying to act like everything was okay and that she didn't hear what she really did hear.

"Cut the shit Jimmy, what did you say about that whore Jess being pregnant with HIS baby?" She seethed and pointed at Brian. I was about to cuss the bitch out, but Brian beat me to it.

"Chelle, she is not a whore. Please don't call her that or we will have a serious problem." He said. I simply stood there and waited for Brian's next move. Will he defend her? Will he finally break-up with Michelle and take care of Jess?

"Don't defend her Brian! She is a whore because she can't keep her filthy hands off what isn't hers." Michelle yelled back at Brian. I snickered because she is such a hypocrite.

"Just shut the fuck up and let me explain." Michelle stopped and crossed her arms over her chest. I did the same. I think forgot that I was there. "Yes, Jess is pregnant with my baby, but that doesn't mean I'm going to leave you. I really do love you and I know I hurt you by my actions. But that doesn't mean that I'm not going to help her raise my child. So, you can either chose to stay with me, or you can leave. The choice is yours."

Please leave. Please! I thought to myself.

"Fine...but I am not changing any diapers." With that, Michelle stomped off into another room.

"Thanks a lot Jimmy." He said to me with a mean look. I smirked and patted his back.

"At least I know you're going to take care of Jess and your baby."

"Yeah..." He let out a long sigh. "I'll stop by her place tomorrow to apologize. Night Jim."

"Night Brian." I walked out of the house and made my way back to Jess's place.
