The Wicked End

Some thing was off I could feel it deep down in my core. That something woke me up in the middle of the night.
A blue tint filled the room as the moon snaked its way in to the room. My breathing and thoughts were the only thing I could here in the room, truthfully it frightened me a bit.
I quickly glanced to my right hoping that Matthew was still in the bed, as confused as I was I knew I was safer with him than alone. Some how he had managed to become my safety blanket.
He wasn’t breathing so I slowly let my hand inch closer to him. My fingers danced over his cheek carelessly, he didn’t even stir.
My eyes felt baggy but no matter how many times I closed them they just popped back open.
Some thing was definitely wrong.
“Matthew?” I whispered.
Nothing.
He wouldn’t be waking up any time soon. I actually didn’t think he even slept.
Suddenly there was a loud thud on the wall.
I jumped and then lifted Matt's heavy arm up so I could hide under it.
I looked up at Matt and tried to lightly shake him.
Still nothing.
The sound came again much softer.
This time Matt's eyes shot open. They were distant and cold. He didn’t move or talk just listened.
“Matthew?” I asked in a small whisper.
He slowly looked down at me . His finger slowly made its way to his lips in one of those ‘be quiet’ motions.
I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly.
Matt sighed and sat up taking me with him. He pulled my arms off of him and got out of bed leaving me to freeze my ass off.
He pulled on his jeans quickly and tossed his shirt at me.
He didn’t have to tell me twice, I put the shirt on and kneeled at the side of the bed next to matt.
“im going to go to the window stay here” he said harshly like I was in his way or some thing.
He stood to the side of the window and glanced down.
After a few moments he walked over, grabbed me and pulled me with him out the room. We walked down the hall way and down the stairs.
In the living room stood four men. Gates and matt’s friends.
They all stared at each other. Matt pulled me to him and whispered “no.”
Zach sighed pinching the top of his nose.
“okay guys matt gets to keep her.”
Every one groaned and started to scatter. Every one but the one who I remembered as johnny. He just glared at me.
I moved closer to matt and wrapped my arms around his waist.
Matt looked down and smirked.
“whats going on?” I asked
Matt rolled his eyes “shut up you look prettier when your mouths not moving.”
I unwrapped my arms from around him and struggled to get away from him with no avail.
He laughed a bit and backed me in to a wall pressing himself against me.
‘baby I want to bone you so bad right now’
I blinked a few times hearing those words while noticing Matt’s lips pressed tightly together.
He pressed harder when I tried to move.
“as soon as I can im going” he didn’t get to finish the sentence because the small light in the hall way abruptly turned off.
Matt froze and quickly started to walk dragging me with him by the wrist.
“your hurting me” I cried out in pain as his grip tightened.
“come on move faster” he spoke harshly.
I tried to keep up the pace was to quick and I tripped once we were at the top of the stairs.
Matt pulled me up quickly and held me against his chest.
He kissed me head and asked “you okay?” I nodded slowly as I realized what had just happened. My face pressed itself on his chest for comfort.
Matt being the ass that he was
Said “okay stay here”
I blinked “what?”
He chuckled as if I had just told him the best blonde joke ever .
His hand slid down my back and then under the shirt on to my ass. Moaning lowly he stared down and met my eyes.
For a moment
I couldn’t look away. His face slowly became serious, his hand stopped moving, and he slowly took a breath.
His eyes glimmered in the moon light. They were now warm looking as opposed to the cold un emotional glint they had when he left me in the room alone that first time.
I couldn’t explain what was happening it was as if suddenly time slowed down leaving only me unfrozen to marinate in the feelings.
I reached up placing my hand on his cheek. For a second he felt cold, but that soon passed.
“I love you” I whispered leaning in for a kiss. His eyes never left mine.
I could see the anticipation washing over him. I could almost feel it radiating off of him. I must have gone mad.
Suddenly the a piece of glass flew between our faces.
Matt’s head turned towards the left to where the glass had flown.
As quickly as his head had turned to the left it snapped to the right, where the glass had come from.
I turned to see what he was staring at.
The huge window in the hallway was shattered. A man now stood there.
Shock.
He wore a black jump suit with a gas mask and every thing. There was a rope hooked up to his waist.
Matt looked at me “hold on”
I just blinked as he wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Aurora!” yelled the strange robber.
Matt just laughed.
It was windy. Chills ran through my body. Electricity pulsed through out my veins.
A bright light nearly blinded me.
I looked around and I was in the living room alone.
A hand wrapped around my for arm. I turned to face a man in a jump suit this one was shorter.
“Aurora cuevas? Im here to save you” he spoke.
I smiled “omg really?”
He nodded, then his head snapped to the right. It was an un natural head turn.
There was a bone out of place in his neck and two hands holding his head up.
My smile dropped when I saw Matt standing behind him.
He released the head. The man fell limp on to the ground.
“still love me?” he smiled.
I kneeled to the guy and pressed my ear to his chest. No sound, no movement, and life.
When I stood I looked at Matt and remembered the plan.
I walked in to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.
“Matt im scared” I cried in to his chest. His chest rumbled with his laughter.
“I told you your mine and I do not let harm come to my property”
Gates ran in the room “Matt lets go there outside, we can finish them off”
Matt nodded and made his way to the front door. His fingers entwined themselves with mine.
He pulled the front door right off its hinges and chucked it to his right.
I watched the door fly in to and through the wall.
Gates laughed “let me guess turned on?”
I turned to him “who me” he just smirked “no me”
I laughed lightly as I stepped out the front door behind Matt.
It was pretty dark out side. The sky was now clear, the moon lower than before. A thick marine layer was more than visible, surrounding the property.
The rest of Matt’s friends walked in to sight all of them bloody and dragging big sacks. As they neared I realized that the sacks were bodies.
I covered my mouth as a gasp was heard.
Zacky smirked evilly as he walked to us dropping a red headed girl and a blonde guy on the floor. “she almost died a virgin” he laughed.
Gates laughed also “only you man”
I blinked “what do you mean almost?”
He shrugged “I fucked her and then killed her”
I hid behind Matt slightly pressing my self against Matt’s back.
Matt reached behind himself and rested his large hand over my butt “alright guys we good?” every one nodded.
Some thing was still wrong at least that’s how I felt.
“Matt?” I asked.
He turned around smirking “what?”
He asked a bit rudely.
“what happened? What’s really going on? When can I leave?” I asked knowing damn well I sounded bitter.
He laughed turning slightly to towards his accomplices.
He jabbed his thumb towards me.
“dude she thinks im letting her go”
They all had a small laugh. Matt then turned back to me.
“baby, baby, baby. What on earth would make you think that id let you go and be free?”
I blinked “uh I don’t know mr. I keep my promises. What do you think?” I was being sarcastic we had both been in the room when he said he’d even walk me home.
He shook his head “yeah about that miss. No ill stay. I thought it was very clear when you broke our little agreement in bed that you would be staying”
As we argued our points Zach had piled up his bodies and sat on them watching us.
Some thing cold graced my lower back. I froze.
Matt’s lips kept moving repeating how I was his property.
I quickly pressed my self against Matt’s body.
Fear pulsed in me.
I looked up at Matt “im scared Matt”
His arched eye brow lead me to believe that he was confused “of what?”
My eye brows furrowed as I thought what could possibly frighten me a point were I feel at safest in Matt’s arms.
As if on queue Matt’s arms wrapped around me.
“shh my darlings as the sky now dims, the moon lights the sky to guide the sun who has yet to rise.” he sang.
He had closed his eyes half way through that verse. Like before mother time seamed to think us worthy enough to slow time down.
My hand went to his chest in hopes of making contact with a shirt to grip. But Matt had given me his shirt.
Remembering that gesture forced me to realize just how sweet he truly was. In his on way he did love me. Easily he could have forced me to wonder around naked.
His chest made a small thud.
As far as I was concerned he didn’t have a beating heart.
Confused I looked to him for an answer.
His eyes shot open and his mouth fell ajar as he deeply inhaled. There was a jolt that pumped through my heart.
There was screaming all around us.
Once we had snapped out of our little trance we looked around. Zach and Rev stood by us.
Matt pulled away and asked “what’s all the yelling about?”
Gates laughed “you were about to.” then he went silent.
Matt rolled his eyes “yeah right I wouldn’t notice that huh? Put all those bodies in a pile and burn them. Hurry up I want go back to sleep”
He pushed me off and helped them pile the bodies.
Once Matt had a lit match in his grasp he turned to me and winked.
“still love me” he asked as he watched the bodies catch fire.
Vomit flew out of my mouth as sudden as those people where dead. The guys didn’t mind me throwing up over there grass..
An arm snaked around my waste, a hand covered my dirty mouth.
My heals skidded over the grass as I was pulled back.
I struggled with the person I even tried screaming.
I looked up screaming for Matt, well any one really.
Matt turned slowly, as soon as I had his attention I reached for him, biting down on the hand over my mouth.
“you stupid bitch” the stranger hissed.
“Matt!!” I screeched.
As soon as he jolted towards me a blinding light came on.
“Aurora!” he yelled.
“Matt help me you promised” I cried.
The tears fell freely.
“Rory. Shut up” the stranger said.
I was tossed to the ground. I looked up at the man, he was removing his mask.
I jumped and threw myself to him “omg Steve what the hell!”
he laughed “shh im here”
A few moments later he just smiled “lets get out of here”
I nodded slowly looking over at Matt. He was pacing from left to right and vise versa holding eye contact with Steve.
Steve laughed “what you can stomach what you did to her but your to chicken shit to walk through light?”
Matt stopped pacing.
The guys all walked over to Matt, Zach held Matt’s arm.
“what are you talking about Steve?” I asked.
Zach sneered at a feminine figure the walked over to us.
“what he means is that this piece of shit is a vampire.”
It was Rose.
I jumped on her.
She laughed “get your bare ass off of me man”
I pulled away and looked around.
My friends had come to the rescue.
I turned to Matt with a huge smile on my face. My smile dropped the instant I saw how serious he looked.
He was staring at us. He turned to me and smirked.
“Rory baby, come over to me” he spoke.
I smiled at the sound of his voice as I made my way over to him. Steve grabbed my hand and said “no Rory, you see this light its like a wall to them. If you cross that don’t expect to be saved a second time.”
I nodded.
Matt laughed “Rory come to daddy”
I raised an eye brow and started at him “daddy?”
He smiled “yeah baby.”
I laughed “nah I think I like freedom”
He shrugged out of Zach’s grip and walked a bit closer to the curtain of light “baby I promise if you come to me now I wont hurt you two, just let me say goodbye”
I knew he had broken promises but I was compelled to go compelled to show him that I wasn’t scared of him.
Roses groaned “just leave it steve”
Steve’s hand left my arm and I made my way to Matt who was waiting with open arms.
He glared as I walked through the light. His friends laughed at him. His arms coiled around me the instant I was within reach.
I jumped slightly thinking he would run the other way with me in his arms.
His chest was solid and it was warm against my forearms. My cheek rested lightly on his shoulder.
He kissed the top of my head. I closed my eyes and inhaled his sent.
He chuckled “baby you don’t have to go”
I nodded “Matthew.”
I just wanted to say his name.
He pulled away and looked down at me.
“I love you” I whispered so that rose and steve didn’t hear.
“give me any sign and I will take you with us.”
I shook my head “I cant do that to them.”
Tears fell as I realized this really was goodbye.
He crashed his lips to mine and forced his tongue through my lips.
When he pulled away I noticed he was looking over my head and more than likely at steve.
He looked back down and whispered “I will eventually find you and when I do its going to be epic.”
I sniffled “if you ever really liked me you’ll at least give me a head start.”
He stepped away and winked “baby your mine both of you, and him im going to kill on Halloween, just to show you how much I fucking liked my time with you.”
He turned around and started to walk off. Him and his friends all walked slowly laughing, “see you soon, girl who lived” yelled gates.
They all laughed at that.
I glared “pick your coffin fag”
Then Matt turned and smirked “im serious take care of her Rory cuz I will kill you if any thing happens to my daughter”
He turned and I felt a slap on my bare ass.
I turned.
Steve was to far as was rose.
I turned again and they were all gone.
Out of sight.
