A Little Piece of Heaven

{Syn's POV}

Her. She's the reason I'm who I am, she's the reason in the rockstar I am. Shadow Marie Sullivan, Jimmy's sister. Damn it, why must she be with Zacky. I look over at her as she bangs away on her drum kit that Jimmy bought her a while back. She looks at me with her smile as I smile back at her. God, her smile is so mesmerizing. She sets her drum sticks down and sits down in the empty seat next to me. She smells good, like vanilla. I love vanilla. I take off my guitar strap and set my Schecter on the seat next to me.
"Hey Brian." She rests her hand on my back as I look over at her.
"Yeah?"
"You stopped playing right at the solo, what's wrong? Did I mess you up?" I sigh as I quickly shake my head. How could she mess me up? She's the whole reason our band is here, why I'm where I am.
"No! I just, I forgot the chords!" I watch her as she gets up, staring at her ass as she walks. God, why does she have to be with Zacky?
"Brian?" I look up at her as I catch her gaze.
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to restart Afterlife or should we do another song?" I shrug as Zacky walks up behind her, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist as he hugged her close. She giggled and I roll my eyes, grabbing my guitar off the chair as I get up and storm out of the room.

{Shadow's POV}

I see Brian leave as I shrug, turning around to face Zacky, hugging him back.
"Hi babe!"
"Hey babe, how was rehearsing with Brian?" I shrugged as I bury my face into his neck as I mumble.
"It sucked, he said he forgot the chords to the solo in Afterlife." I heard Zacky let out a chuckle as I look up at him, smiling as he smiled back.
"Ew get a room!" I pokes my head over Zacky's shoulder as I see Jimmy walking in.
"How about you get a room, dipshit?" I moved out of Zacky's loving hug as I shove past Jimmy, playfully punching him in the arm as I laugh while walking out of the room. I go out the exit as I grab out my pack of Marlboro Menthol Reds, grabbing a cigarette out and my lighter, igniting the flame as I put it to the cigarette, taking the cigarette in my mouth as I take a drag, blowing out the smoke. I stand against the railing as Matt comes outside.
"Do you like smoking cancer?" I look over my shoulder, back at him as I shrug.
"It gets me through, Matt."
"If you die from cancer, it's not my fault." I roll my eyes as I swat my hand at him.
"Away, peasant, I like to smoke in peace."
"Nobody smokes alone." Brian says as comes outside and joins me against the railing. I look over at him as I smile.
"There you are! Where'd you go earlier?" He shrugged and looked ahead.
"I went to find something."
"To find what?"
"Food, you know." I let out a soft giggle as I shake my head.
"You're a fatass."
"Nah, I'm just always hungry." I look over to see Matt making heart shapes at us with his hands.
"I ship it, I'll ship it til' the day I die."
"Matt, get the fuck out."
"But you and Brian would be perfect together!" I put my cigarette out and I dropped it over the railing. Walking over to Matt as I shove him towards the door.
"Away, Matt. I'm perfectly happy with Zacky."
"But, Shrian or Bhadow!"
"Matt, go." He shrugs as he walks back inside. I turn around as I face Brian, smiling.
"Don't mind that cunt, he doesn't understand my happiness with Zacky, but you do, right Brian?"

{Syn's POV}

"... but you do, right Brian?" I shrug as I look back at Shadow. I hate when she mentions Zacky and their so called "happiness".
"Yeah, mhm. You guys are perfect, mhm." She smiles and runs up to me, throwing her arms around me as she hugs tightly.
"Thanks, Brian. You're like, our only supporter." I look down at her as I fake a smile.
"You're welcome, Shadow." I throw my cigarette over the railing as I wrap an arm around her back.
"Let's go back inside, it's too hot out here. Besides we need to finish Afterlife." She smiles and nods slowly.
"Okay, let's go!" She runs ahead as I shake my head. I need to get rid of Zacky, Matt is right, her and I are perfect for eachother. I then run after her.
